What is a purity ceremony?
A Purity Ceremony is a special pledge made before God to remain pure until marriage. Many churches/youth groups hold annual Purity Ceremonies that culminate in the participant receiving a purity ring and signing a purity certificate, both of which serve as tangible proofs of an intangible pledge.
