A Christmas Gift Like No Other

If you don't think walking in a store to buy a Toby Mac CD can change your life, think again! Well here goes. I'm Raynee, and here's my C28 Story.

Myself and my Family went through a very difficult time two years ago, I'm still trying to recover from it, but I WE have come so far with the help of people God put into my life at just the right time, amazing how He does that isn't it? That's how I know He used my visit to C28 for a very good reason!

Once there, a servant at the store asked me "can I pray for you?" Dripping mascara must have given me away. He prayed with me and talked to me, like no one else would during that difficult time.

A little background, both my Parents were dying and they we both in Hospice care, we had to take care of them and pay for their care as everything they had was stolen including credit cards and bank accounts, both were suffereing from Dimencia, Parkinsons, and C.O.P.D. A family member took advantage of their physcical state and by the time we got there, Well, it was horrible, no one should have to see or go through that, and I''m not talking about me, I mean my parents.

We had little money and things looked bad. But my friend at C28 told me that all things were possible through Christ as he read from Philipians 4:13.

I'm trying not to be long winded, but the people at C28 have no idea to this day, how much they changed my life from the day I came into that store with tears held back and ready to fall apart. So now due to that help offered so freely, God has me doing whatever he needs me too, be it blogging, talking whatever so that His word remains, He's coming to take us home soon and I don't want anyone left behind nor do I want anyone else to be either.

Two years ago we were given a gift at C28. No discount, beautiful shirt or shoes could have ever had matched the Christmas gift that year. God Bless, you guys, you are always in my prayers and I pray the Lord continues to use you for His devine purpose!
