A young Native American boy, son of the chief, was staying with his grandfather making arrow heads and such while his father was in session of a meeting with the war chief's of the tribe. The young boys grandfather at night took him to the side and explained an analogical story to him. He explained, "son, inside of us are the spirits of two wolves which are always at war with each other.... One of these wolves are good. It is loving, full of compassion, wants the best for others, not self centered. It does not lie or steal or murder. It does not hate. The other wolf is evil and it is full of hate. It envies the possessions of others. It is easily provoked to anger, it lies steals, and craves to harm others." The boy asks his grandfather "which wolf wins?". His grandfather replies, "the one that you feed"
In other words, The evil wolf is our flesh, the good wolf is our spirit man....Are you going to feed your spirit with the word of God, or are you going to feed your flesh with the desires of this world and with negative media?
