This happened a couple months ago. I had a woman come into our store and she looked like she was ready to cry. i approached her and greeted her like i would any customer and asked her if she was shopping for anything specific. She then looked at me with tears starting to form and said "you know the fires that are occurring around Green River Road?" i replied yes. "Well my family and i just lost everything we had due to our house burning down, do you have any shirts that I can look at and read for hope? I have no clothes at the moment besides a few i managed to grab."

As soon as she asked that question I immediately walked her over to a couple shirts we happened to have the had Jeremiah 29:11 on them and read the verse and a a couple other verses with her on a few other shirts. When she was done making her purchase, I asked her if I could pray with her, and after we were done praying she came in with tears of pain and left with tears of joy and hope.

I truly felt God there with us lifting her spirit and guiding me in what to say and what shirts would truly help her get through this tough time. =]
