In Memory of Brandon

Last June (2008), my husband (Curtis) and I were in Palm Desert, CA on a business trip. We came across your C28 store in the mall and had a very heartwarming conversation with the manager. Before leaving your store we added our son (who had just turned 19) to your email list. Our son, Brandon, had accepted his call to preach and teach God's word in August of 2007 and was scheduled to preach his first sermon in July of 2008. Before leaving the store manager asked if he could pray with us - to which we gladly agreed.

When arrived back home, we told Brandon about this awesome store we had found and how impressed we were with the manager and the atmosphere in the store, and that we had added him to your email list and he said that he would 'check it out'. Well, he did just that! And before you know it, it was as if he had found a 'long lost friend' in your site.

He loved your merchandise and your 'NOTW' logo became his background on his
myspace page. Brandon truly believed in God's commission to make disciples for Christ EVERYWHERE - especially with his generation of peers (and he reached them through music and sports). I know your site gave him lots of inspiration to continue to spread Christ and to share God with every one he met.

On December 16 2008, Brandon was killed in a car accident, along with another young man who was riding with him (James Jackson, Jr). Brandon had recently met James, and helped James renew his relationship with Christ. Blessings are still evident and God still gets the glory for it all !

We just want to humbly say 'thank you'. I am so glad God lead us to your store, you had a part in our son's ministry to others. You were a blessing to him, and that makes you a blessing our entire family. May God continue to richly bless you for the work you are doing, and for the lives you are reaching and the souls you are helping to save for Christ.
