$5 in Change Becomes REAL Change

Alan came into the C28 Temecula store asking for change for a $5 bill. I shared what our store was all about and asked him if he knew where he would go when he died. He said that he would go to Heaven so I asked him why he believed this. He replied that he was a good person. I pointed out that if you could get to Heaven by being good, then Jesus didn't need to die. He didn't know why Jesus died on the cross!

I shared the consequence of sin, Hell, and the fact that Jesus died to pay for our sin. I shared the "It is Finished" shirt and told him that what Jesus meant by this is that the punishment for sin is paid for and that Alan needed to receive this forgiveness.

He prayed right then! Thank you God for the way you choose to "change" lives!
