"Javier and Hector are 15 years old, and today was the first time they came into C28. I explained the store to them, and got them excited about our messege! As they were walking around, I kept hearing them say "..oh cool... look at this.. thats cool!!" So I went over to them again and asked them what was so cool about the scripture they were looking at (we have Jer. 29:11 and John 3:16 in huge stickers on our wall). Then Javier got a phone call, walked out of the store, and I thought they both were , leaving so I walked away. About 2mins later they both came back in. I let them look around and said "heyyyy your back!!!" When they left I felt a tug and wanted to go grap them and share the gospel. I asked them right away if they go to church in the area, and they both said no. Javier paused for a second and answered that he just prays instead. This sparked the conversation, and led them both to realize that they didn't even know the God they had been praying to. I explained how it's not about the prayers, church, or traditions your family may have.. but that it's about understanding how Jesus laying down his life on the cross is the thing that gets you to be able to communicate with God and get to know Him for who He is. After talking with them for a few more mins I asked them if they wanted to accept Jesus for who He is, and what He did and they said "yes.""
