"Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, By the Lord's grace I was invited yesterday to speak with 45 "at risk" kids ages 10-18. The kids had actually been taken away from their homes by the state because of abuse or neglect. The "Encourage a Child" ministry had me share the gospel and 20 of the kids prayed the "sinners" prayer as well as a couple of adults. After the invitation, a young 10 year old Kristen came up to me and stood still in front of me. When I asked Kristen if I could pray with her, she told me she had just accepted Jesus into her heart. She also told me a "large thing" had just come out of her stomach? Carol, (the children's leader) then turned to me in utter shock and amazement. Carol took me to the side and said "every time we have prayed with Kristen in the past, Kristen shakes and rolls her eyes backwards in her head like she is possessed. Praise the Lord Aurelio!" I then turned around and reached down to Kristen and asked her if I could give her a hug. Kristen looked at me and quickly reached for me. I held young Kristen in my arms tightly for what seamed like 5 minutes and prayed with her. She would not let go of me. Praise Jesus! With all this said, let all glory be to God!!! Needless to say, please pray for Kristen. Please also pray for Carol who will be ministering to Kristen. It is precious times like this that God shows me His abundantly clear grace. If you prayed for this event, know that your prayers were answered in a HUGE way! I love you guys :-)"
