Alisha and her brother were walking by the store and I invited them in. Alisha said that she was actually looking for a new halloween costume and I told her that we didn't really have any but we have some really cool clothes. Then her brother said, wait... you are the guy that was at the skate park right? I said, "Yes!" He was totally excited and shared with his sister about the experience at the skate park. So then I started asking Alisha some more questions about what she believed and her answer was that she was on the fence about things. She said she really likes Genesis and that she is reading it for her English Class. Then I showed her the Why Fresh shirt and asked her if she had prayed and asked Jesus to come into her life. She said that she had not yet prayed for that. Then I asked her if she wanted to do that right now and she said, "Um... Yeah!, I would like to!" We prayed together and she asked Jesus to forgive her and to come into her life. Then her brother walked over and I said, "Didn't you also pray to recieve Christ that day in the skate park?" He said, "yes I did" and his sister got really excited! I asked them if they had been to church and they said no so I gave them a card to my church and they talked for a bit while looking around in the store. Then they came back up to me and told me that they want to come on Sunday. I told them, that would be awesome! Praise the Lord. He is so faithful to bring a family together through two random events with the same ministry. He didn't have to do that but it was definitely a energy boost in trying times. Praise the King of Kings!"
