(I'll try to keep the story not too lengthy)
This kid about rung me dry he was the most high maintenance camper there so I was sent to go 1 on 1 with this kid all day until he left. This kid was a christian don't get me wrong he loved Jesus but wasn't on the right path. He wasn't respectful, caring or striving to become somthing. By grace the kid liked me already and we had fun.
Then he saw my ring and asked my what it was about. I read him the scripture and described what it meant. Then I told him what it meant to me and let him wear it. Oh I finally got somewhere! I tried every ounce of patience and support but by grace its the Lord who comes to our rescue. When he wore the ring he said it made him feel better and he promised me that he would try to be a Man of God. Then the last day before he left I gave him a Man of God mens ring which I bought to be his and I know hes doing good somewhere out there.
So its the littlest things that effect us the most connect with what you potray to people I still have my ring and still wear my shirts but I love the stories that come with them much more. Stories of faith, showing your connection to who you potray and who you want to be.
Btw: I'm only 16 :P
Oh that verse was this: 1 Tim 6:11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
