Stainless (a growth of love and faith)

I bought this necklace for someone who was my close guy friend 3 years ago. He was in a troubled phase in his life at that time so I felt he needed a daily reminder of Isaiah 41:10 (the verse engraved on it) through a little accessory. To this day, he wears it 99% of the time and it remains hanging on his neck. Believe me when I say that he cherished this necklace so much and there are numerous times in his life when he needed to be reminded of the privilege of being God's child. Isaiah 41:10 eventually became his life verse, guiding him every step of the way, from his personal inhibitions to his plans for the future. To be honest, I really never thought this simple gift would mean a lot to him, that he'd wear it 24/7 everyday. I did not expect this simple necklace would have a lasting impact on his life...but it did.

By the way, we're currently in a relationship and have been together since a year after I gave him this necklace. This necklace became a very sentimental symbol. It's a significant treasure that kept us connected and a tool that God used to help him grow in his faith. God uses the simplest things to remind us of His word. And I'm very glad it's stainless.
