I wore my t-shirt that bears the verse Genesis 1:27 made in God's image to my community college tennis class one day, and a teammate asked me about it. He said, "Isn't that a pretty arrogant thing to say? Do you think you're God or something?" I have always found this a hard verse to explain without using Christian-ese terms, but I was able to explain how God created man in his likeness and how we are representatives of him and how much he loves his creation! It was awesome.
