Devin: This is what Christian Metal is supposed to be. Wolves at the Gate hits hard with impressive sound and actual worship in the lyrics. The song "Safeguards" denotes this perfectly, having a calm start that leads into what you could only call heavy worship. "Dead Man" finds you celebrating new life in Christ despite your past, great if you dont mind tears of joy while headbanging. The song "Man of Sorrows" is a wrapping-up of sorts, having presented the gospel multiple times throughout the album, they leave you with the account of Christ on the cross, ending with the powerful words, "This is not a simple story, our lives are for Your glory". Nothing says it better. All in all, this album rocks. If you like metalcore and love Jesus, youll wear this CD out.
