I would have preferred it said "Be strong and courageous" than simply "Strong and courageous" I intended for this ring to be a reminder to me not to be timid, but to be strong and courageous. With it just saying "Strong and courageous" I feel like it could be taken as me trying to describe myself as such, which feels a bit pretentious. However, that's just to say it's not perfect. I still like it a lot and I think it does its job fine. Also, it helps to just think of the actual verse, Joshua 1:9, which DOES say "Be strong and courageous" ... among other things...
