Poem: THE STRENGTH OF A MOTHER

The strength of a mother
Is in the love that she gives,
Not in how she looks
But in how she lives.

She can be very small
But when things get rough,
She will carry the weight
And be strong enough.

She will love a child
If they've walked away,
Never giving up on them
Until they've found their way.

She will hold back her tears
And all of her own pain,
To wipe away theirs
Until peace is their gain.

The strength of a mother
Can be seen in her eyes,
The doorway to her heart.
Where her love resides.
