Donna: I was really disappointed in the color of the stones. IT looks deep red in the picture here, and garnets usually are a dark red color in my experience. The stones in my cross are pink. =/ They arent even close to the color of the one depicted here. Kind of a purplish pink really. I ordered this one specifically because I wanted red stones (the symbolism behind the "red" being for the blood of Christ) it just doesnt work as well with pink stones... but had it been more red it would have been perfect. I am definitely not a fan of the pinkish color but I will probably wear it anyways until I find a "red" cross. Its pretty and would be perfect if the stones were the right color. There was also a slight mix-up with shipping but it was handled eventually and my item arrived in time.
