Matthew: One Nation under God means a nation united by God, he is who formed and founded our nation, and each day we pledge to hold our hearts under his love. It is God that holds our nation together, he is our king, and without him we will fall. That is what "One Nation Under God" means. He is our king, he is the unity and strength of our country, not that our nation is the only one.

Kim: "One nation under God" does not imply we are the only nation under God. It simply means we need to be one nation under God, one nation of many. And we definitely are special to God because He gave His life for Americans just as much as He did for any nationality.

Daniel: I really dont care for the phrase "One nation under God". Its as if we believe we are THE one nation under God. But ALL nations are under God, and if any of them deserve to have any distinction, it would be Israel, not the United States. I love our country, but we are not special to God. One Nation Under God is not biblical.
