I was taken back last Summer when someone proposed the question to me, "If you knew there wasn't a hell, and you didn't need to be saved from it, would you still follow Jesus?" It made me think because hell is one of the main reasons I knew I needed Jesus. I didn't want to be cast into the lake of fire and be tormented the rest of my life. Yet, the question made me reflect on what Jesus did for me, it's more than being saved from hell, it's about a one on one relationship with the Creator of all things! I think it would be cool to be friends with Bono, but I have God as my friend. How much better is that! Though we as believers are blessed by God because He saves us from Hell it is so much more of a blessing that we also have a direct line to our Creator.

Romans 5:9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from Gods wrath through Him.
