We are held captive by our sins from the day we are born. We look to other things in this world to satisfy our desire for freedom but there is freedom which can only be found in Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can unlock our chains and set us free from the sins that keep us from moving toward an eternity with Him!
Isaiah 61:1 reads: "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed."
