Looking back on my life I wonder why I did some of the things I did. I thought I was a good person, yet I did some bad things. At the time, it didn't seem so wrong, but now by Gods grace, I can see. John Newton must have been in a simular place in his life when he wrote Amazing Grace. Being blinded by sin and living a self righteous life we're blinded. Then Gods Amazing Grace knocks us over the head like a baseball bat and then we see. Who we aren't and who He is!
