I am normally a size small/med depending on the shirt, but from past purchases and washing of the garments I purchased this shirt as a size XL. It fits loose - but I haven't washed it yet. A NOTW size Large shirt that I previously bought still seems to shrink everytime I wash it and now it's too small No I haven't gained weight!!! unless I pull it out of the dryer before it's dry and stretch it before hanging it up to dry. If you could indicate if fabrics have been pre-washed in your descriptions that would help, because some times other counyries do prewash.

Angela: I was very disappointed with the size of this item. 1 size smaller is an understatement... Try 2 or 3 sizes smaller... If you want a 2x don't purchase this shirt. You'll get a fit that's like a larger or XL.
