While waiting for Reflecting Him to be published, Carla McDougal envisioned the idea for an original song to go along with the Bible study. She turned to her songwriter-sister Cindy Vinson, and the result is An Invitation, a CD containing eight original songs written and performed by Cindy herself. She has a passion to share the intimacy of Jesus through music. Her soft jazzy sound comforts listeners as they meditate on God's truths in the Reflecting Him Bible study. An Invitation invites the listener to soak, reflect and rest in the arms of Jesus. Next, the Lord gave Carla the idea of a drama, which would reflect the spiritual truths taught in Reflecting Him. The result was an original full-length movie called Behind the Veil. The film is presented as part of a DVD Teaching Series along with a lesson from Carla for each week of the study, and also a leadership guide. Songs from An Invitation are sprinkled throughout the movie, Behind the Veil. The CD and DVD Teaching Series complement Reflecting Him.
