The goal is to show how valuable these men and women were to God, as well as noting their personal values, abilities, and sometimes lack of abilities to meet the challenges that God presented. The VALUable Bible Tools Bible Activities are activity/coloring pages that are a supplement to the stories of these Bible characters. Children need to know that the great people of the Bible were normal people with many of the same challenges that we face. Their success came from their relationship to God, the values that God instilled in them and their ability to trust God for their strength and wisdom that only He could give. These creatively designed activities are age appropriate and may be used in Sunday School, Christian School, and Home School environments. The Bible characters included in this series are: Old Testament: Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Saul, David, Elijah, Elish, Jonah, Nehemiah, Esther, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,and Daniel. New Testament: Matthew, Zechariah, Elizabeth, Joseph, Mary & Gabriel, John the Baptist, Simon Peter, Jesus, Mary & Martha, Ananias and Sapphira, John, Philip, Cornelius the Centurion, Thomas, Paul and Barnabas. Due to the wide variety of versions of the Bible, references to scripture are given so that the activities may be adapted to any version. Reproduction rights are given for one classroom.
