Spanish 2 is the second year of study in Spanish for secondary-level students. This course is designed to develop an "intermediate-low" to "intermediate-mid" level of proficiency as defined by the proficiency guidelines of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). The course is designed to align with the five Cs of the national standards in foreign language education. The five Cs are Communication, Culture, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities. The main thrust of this text is to teach the student to reach out to Hispanics with the gospel of Christ. In learning the Hispanic culture and customs, the student will communicate more effectively in the Hispanic community.
