I am having a tough time now, cause in 3 days, I will be writing my University exams (on 6, 7, 8). I am in a big mess. The funny part is, I have studied almost many things. But when I saw all the people around me putting so much effort, studying till 2o clock at night, some waking at 3 in the morning, I feel like "I am not gonna make". My mind is telling me "you have not done any hard work. You dont deserve it. All that you have read, were for your class tests. How will you remember them now, even if you give a revision? Hard work only pays off". I am sure many of you have went through this. Dont have friends to encourage me in Christ and my parents are busy with their work. I have lost every bit of confidence in me, feel like giving up. I trust God. But my mind is saying "He wont help you cause you have not worked hard enough." I know that is a lie from the devil. I really need to overcome it. I was like a mad person today, crying for every 30mins. I developed peptic ulcer because of stress. My stomach almost developed perforations. This was a result of the tormenting thoughts i had in my mind for 3 weeks. I will be having Pathology and Microbiology on 6th, Pharmacology on 7th and Dental materials on 8th. I am in desperate need of your prayers, your comforting and encouraging words in Christ. Your words from experience and through Christ would be a treasure to me. This is the only place where i can find people who pray for others even though they are of different language, race, nation. Please remember me in your prayers. Elena All I can say is your stress will get you nowhere, just let this fear and insecurity go. Give it to the Lord. It seems like youve studied what you could, now is the time to be confident and just go for it. We are not all the same, some people have to study at crazy hours either because they are busy or push it to the last minute. Just because you arent staying up all hours doesnt mean you have done no hard work. Do the best you can, study, but dont overdo it. What you need now is some rest, take care of your body, eat, be confident and pray. The Lord will get you through this, trust Him. God bless and good luck!! =)
