One of my favorite settings to dwell worship is at True Worship Church in Brooklyn, New York for Midnight Prayer which is scheduled at 12am between friday and saturday, and tonight was such an amazing experience that even over an hour after it was over, the prophet that was there was STILL speaking. The few people that were there were listening to him saying a whole bunch of things INCLUDING (in paraphrase) "When I tell someone Im a Christian, or minister, or praise and worship leader, they can ask "Are you Religous" I just say no. . if they ask "Do you go to church" I say yes. . . they can tell me theres no point in going to church or tell me I shouldnt go to church, I tell them "Do you drive a car? yeah, dont take it to the gas station for the next 3 days" See what they say. Theyll tell me "Oh I have to bring it to the gas station" I ask why? what happens to the car when it doesnt? Itll break DOWN. I go to church, because (in metaphorically speaking) Im not pushing no car" . . . . . As awesome as this word was, that last part is where my prayer request comes in. while the few of us were there, I decided that it would be wise of me to open my mouth and say "Wait a minute, wha? you just said youre not pushing no car, that means youre pushing some car" (in reference to a double negative sentence) I find stuff like that to be confusing, but for me to say that was VERY UNWISE, and Im kinda not over the fact that I said that. after I said that, it was a bit of laughter, then everyone finally left and went home, but I know, and the people there know that me saying that was a huge mistake. PLEASE pray for me that I can get over that, and for the people that they can rather remember the message that they received more than that stupid comment I made. Interceding in your criticisms is of God. a public accusation is of satan.
