"Pray without ceasing..." - 1 Thess 5:17

S P Thank you for the chance to say how this prayer was WONDERFULLY answered! The court refused the first request to take the baby. The Social Services were requested to come back with a better case! On return the judge ruled that the baby stay with his mother...and her mother and that the case be fully internally investigated. The Social worker has left and this is happening. The girl still has social services involvement but is not now being hounded. I truly know how God has totally changed this case. Thank you Lord!!! PLease keep praying for this girl and thank you all for praying so far. Thank you c28 for this chance.

Please pray for a special friend of mine who I used to foster as a teenager. Here in the UK, the Social Services have a guilty before proven policy and are judging her, even though she successfully brought up a little boy to the age of 5 when they took him from her because she kept taking him to the doctor and hospital because she was worried. They said she was over-reacting and put him into the care of foster parents. Within a week, he was dead, after being looked after by strangers in his last days. He was ill, he had a brain tumour, she was right to be concerned.By accident, she became pregnant within a year of his death. I think she was distraught and looking for love, and comfort anywhere. Anyway, to cut a long story short, she has had a lovely healthy baby boy, not yet left hospital and they are trying to take him into care because they say she will have trouble bonding due to the sudden death of her last baby. They want to have him fostered for 3 months.This would break the bond between them and make it easier to have him adopted. I know how bad it sounds but once the UK Social Services get involved, these things can happen. Its about cost-cutting. Cheaper to get a newborn adopted (everyone wants babies) than give support to mum and child. Her mum has asked to help but they say she has not been assessed and it will take 10 weeks - so too late to stop 3 month fostering.This girl has been through so much....its stranger than fiction. The father of her little boy committed suicide a few months after his death. She needs our prayers and not judgement. Please help.
