"Pray without ceasing..." - 1 Thess 5:17

nicholas My prayers have been answered, its been almost two months and things have greatly improved in my life. That is only due to god, the prayer and support of friends family and those unknown. God has blessed me in the oppurtunity to be of service to those about me and allowing me to grow. I have gained strength through him that I knew was possible but at times had lost faith that it would come. I have stayed strong in my pursuit of sobriety and have moved into a new apartment work has picked up and those are all blessing that I give thanks for daily. So thank you god and those about me who have helped and those that I dont know. God has also allowed me the oppurtunity to right my wrongs from my past and to move forward with my life, now I face some much big trials literally and tribulations but I have no doubt that I will make it through and he will have me exactly where I am supposed to be. God bless you and thank you

i pray that god comes into my heart and lifts this hurt from me,and gives me the strength to carry on. i recently got out a relationship with a woman that i truly care about and hate to lose but thats gods will not mine. the hardest part of all of this is that ive only been sober 18 moths amd this is the first time ive been in a serious relationship since ive gotten sober. i just pray that god give me the strength to carry on and move forward in my life for i know that he has something better in store for me. its just not a pleasant feeling. please pray for my strength to remain sober and not give into what i know how to cope with pain.

Sarah32 I like your attitude, Nicholas. Youre right, God DOES have something better in store for you....and no, its not a pleasant feeling--at all. I went through a bad break-up with my then fiance and it was very painful. I feel for you, Nicholas!------Lord You know whats going on with this situation with Nicholas. You know his pain. You see his heart break. Lord I pray that You continue to tell Him that You have more wonderful things to come in his life than what he has presently. You have plans to prosper Nicholas, and not to harm him. A plan for hope and a future. Bless Nicholas with a wonderful future and help him to continue his path of sobriety and reliance on You. I pray that You will help him find other ways to cope through this pain. I know this will be a tough road to come- dealing with the heartbreak of a break-up and deciding to turn away from the bottle. Lord I pray against this addiction. I pray that You, Father God will give Nicholas the strength he doesnt feel within. He IS strong, but that strength is COMPLETELY reliant on You, Lord. Keep Nicholas walk in You consistent so that he will be able to walk in Your might everyday. -Amen
