Helbin Hey everyone, Im a 14 year old high school boy and I have been in the ministry all my life. My Parents are both Leaders in our Church and we plan to raise one in Sacraento California. The thing is I want to get into a good Christian school over their. In order to get in I have to have a good G.P.A and currently in my public high school their are alot of distractions and stuff that tempts me to walk away from God and become carnal. My grades have been slipping and y teachers are really disappointed in me. I know I can do better but Im awfully lazy. Can you please pray for me to not only do better academically but for me to have an ever increasing relationship with the Lord? Id really appreciate it. Rachel Helbin, Praise the Lord for you! It is so wonderful to see the faith in one of your age. The very fact that you have these concerns at your age is very refreshing. Your life, as you follow the Lord, will have a large impact on those around you. I feel in my heart that the Lord has BIG plans for you! Continue to pray always and in all matters. Read Jeremiah 29:11-13 and Proverbs 3:5-6. Always search the Scriptures for answers to life challenges. I am praying for the guidance of the Lord in every area of your life and that He opens doors for you. May the Peace of the Lord completely overshadow you as you commit your ways to Him. John Helbin, its great to hear you that youre very involved in Gods ministry and world. My dad is a leader in the church. Ive been going to church almost all my life but I never really got involved into ministry until a few years after high school. I now wish I got involved a whole lot sooner! I let all the distractions get to me. God still saved me. I struggled too. If you cannot make it into the christian university, look for a christian-based junior college (yeah there are some of those as well). Keep on enjoying your relationship with the Lord by praying, reading his word..etc. In the book of John it says that you got to get into a relationship with the Lord, not just read the bible. Answer whatever the Lord has called you to do, the Lord has big plans for you and all of us. We just got answer when he calls on us. May God bless you and your family as well.
