Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

I am so blessed to share my life with these extraordinary people and I thank you for this continued blessing. Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. You have blessed me with finding this beautfiul and amazing man and am asking for your power and stength to help me release him from his current nightmare which he has been enduring for the past two years coming. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

Rachel Praise God, we have a new youth leader! Our new youth leader, Fawn, actually taught youth bible study before Pastor Dan came and now that he has had to leave she is stepping in to be our youth leader. God certainly works in mysterious ways because Fawn was telling us that she had been praying for God to use her and her talents (she use to teach middle and high school students, so youth group is right up her alley) to help out more in the church. She is excited to be our youth leader and we are excited to have her! I still want to ask you to continue to pray for Pastor Dan and his family; that they would be blessed and that God would guide them in the direction he has chosen. Thank you everyone!

Stephen God is amazing, the tumor which was in her lung has decreased in size by 15%, and according to the doctors, she is almost healed by medical standards. I know that God is going to do more abundantly than what we ask or what we think, and the healing is there we just have to cry out. Thank you God for being the absolute in our lives!

The X-rays revealed a massive tumor or mass in her right lung that has gradually been getting smaller with chemotherapy but it is still there and she has to breath through a tube. As if this wasnt enough, her colon wall is swollen and she cannot eat, they can only give her nutrients. Please cry out for her because this is a woman who truly loves God with everything she has, were not giving up on her and I tell her all the time that she is not alone in this fight, she has friends, family and churches behind her but the more people praying the better.

B C We had an awesome Electronic Music Worship event, over 120 people came which is 3 times as big as last year! We went to Movement in Detroit to witness, pray and pass out flyers. 5 people gave their lives to Christ and many people received prayer. All who came to help were in such unity and warriors in the faith. Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Kari I am extremely humbled and blessed to have gotten such a response from people who dont even know me. I put my prayer request out there thinking, hey, maybe there will be one person to see it and one more person praying for me is better than none. I can honestly say I didnt expect 17 sisters/brothers in Christ to relate and send up a word for me. My day started out kinda rough and now Im home alone, but feel a little weight lifted off my shoulders reading that 17 people prayed for me. Although Im alone and will probably still struggle with it from time to time, I cant express how it makes me feel to be reminded that Im not ever alone and that I have a community and a family in all of you. You have all blessed me and Im so thankful. Lord God, thank you for directing me to this and for directing my 17 prayer warriors to my request. You are amazing and loving and awesome. Be with each and every one of them and bless them for taking the time to pray for me. I praise you and love you and thank you, in Jesus Name!

Megan My prayer is in the process of being answered. I did get a job in the hospitality industry (Praise God!) which will act as an interim until the Navy process is finished either with re-enlistment or a denial for whatever reason. God seems to have opened about 85% of the doors in that area of ministry for me. Thanks for all the prayers :)

Hi everyone. I got let go from an employer after only two months on Thursday. I am applying anywhere and everywhere, but God keeps bringing the military back in to my focus. I am a veteran of the US Navy who got out and put herself through school. I graduated from college about a year ago now and was laid off on Thursday. Can you please pray for Gods peace through this whole situation and for Him to make it really obvious what I need to do? Thanks!

Brittany Hey everyone! Just an update! They found a match for her and so the transplant will take place in August! Were really excited and praising God for this! Thank you so much for the prayers! Robyn My prayers werent answered COMPLETELY YET but the prayer was basically about one situation that I have been praying about for awhile. Basically my step-son was not allowed to go to basketball camp that he has been EXTREMELY excited for because we supposably did not give his mom information about it, in which we did give her the information. Anyway...we picked 2 weeks over the summer that we wanted him for vacation and she was fine with those particular 2 weeks. Well I went on to our church website last night and found out they are having basketball camp for those 2 random weeks we picked. I just thank the Lord for this opportunity. He lead me to the website and I know He answered our prayers. God is amazing!!

My husband has a son from a previous marriage. I have been around his son since he was born (as a friend) and he has called me mom since hes been able to talk because his mom is absent most of the time yet has joint custody with PRIMARY residence. His son is now 6, almost 7 and is starting to see how absent his mom is. She has her mom and other people watch him 98 of the time he is with her. I dont know why but she is focused on hurting my husband and making him mad. In the meantime, its hurting their son because she gives and takes away things that their son wants to do, only to hurt my husband. What she doesnt realize is it hurts us because we see Dawson hurting. My step-son comes to us crying now because of something he was told he could do, now he cant because of some reason like "we didnt give her information on it" when we really did. He always says "why is she doing this to me? It breaks our heart and doesnt seem to affect her at all. Please pray for us and for her because we dont know what else to do.

My fiancee is having a second surgery coming up to have a ovarian sis removed again that is causing her a lot of pain. She will be out for a couple weeks. Its been an off and on issue, and its gotten better, but its something that the enemy has really been trying to bring me down with, and I really want to grow stronger in Christ and grow closer to God, my Fatherm and get past the bad feelings and different lies that the enemy tries to hinder me with. God bless!

Katharina My dear sis in Christ! I know the devil is putting lots of creap in your mind but keep yourself busy with the word of God. Stay strong and cry out to the Lord and he will answer your prayers ! If you have the time read the story about King David how was he depressed and he encouraged himself by praising and dancing to the Lord. He made mistakes and the Lord was always helping him out in trouble. Dance like David! God blessyou.

MY GRANDFATHERS FUNERAL WENT WELL, SOME OF MY FAMILY WAS WORRIED THAT THE MONEY TO COVER THE COST WAS NOT GOING TO BE MET IN TIME, BUT PRAISE THE LORD THE MONEY CAME IN AND WE WERE ABLE TO HAVE THE FUNERAL ON TIME. I am a single father of two. Their mom is being sentenced for a crime in just two weeks. I Gods will is going to be done, but i pray she is gone long enough to not be a part of their young lives. Justin Lord I pray now for Tim and his young children. Lord I pray that you will guide and direct him in Your ways. Lord be with him and his children as they face this hard time in there lives. Lord, I also pray that you will touch there Moms heart and guide her into your grace. Lord, when the time is right, soften Tims heart and allow him to allow his children to have a relationship with their mother at the time that you see fit. Lord I lift them up right now in Jesus name. This is so heart breaking, watching my son Richard lay around his room day after day doing nothing and seeing like he wants to live this way! at 22 he should be out there living his life. I know God is so good and working but this has been going on for years. we needs a break through and salvation for my whole house as I am the only christian. my grandpa was recently submitted in the hospital, in cause of losing feeling in his arms and legs, he had no strangth and collapsed, he has trouble breathing aswell in cause of a severe swollen throat. after much testing the docters told us that he had guillian barre syndrome, which is very rare and very serious and could be fatal, a virus that attacks the nervus system. we are all very worried an visit and pray with him everyday. if you could, please pray for the health of my grandpa, and for the spiritual battle with in. please pray that the Lord will hold his heart and minister to him. i know that God is in control, and that he loves my gramps more than any of us ever could. so i trust in him no matter what happends. thank you so much everyone! God bless.

mary Thank you all for your prayers. After 8 long months my husband started working again last Friday. It is just a temporary job that doesnt pay much, but it is a job and we are very greatful. There is hope it will turn into a permanet position. I pray that is does and he will succeed in his new job. Thank you God and thanks to all that prayed.
