Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. God bless yous all, and stay safe this Valentines Day...

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. You have blessed me with finding this beautfiul and amazing man and am asking for your power and stength to help me release him from his current nightmare which he has been enduring for the past two years coming. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

TestedAndTried no...my prayer for peace between my son and husband never happened...my husband and i actually separated as he would never accept my son..come to find out, my son has become very ill and needs medical attention the insurance will not pay for..we had to drop my daughter out of the christian school and put her into a public school..so far, nothing is easy and my body grows extremely fatigued with the working of 3 jobs for almost 3 years now...i grow more weary than you can imagine, especially not being able to come up with the $8,000.00 that is needed for my sons medical procedure that our insurance will not approve to pay for...need guidance...

tim The Lord has answered our prayer by providing the funds to pay our debt through our family members. It has been through much prayer that this decision was reached. I still am unsure of the future of our business and where it is heading, but that has always been the case, even when it was prospering. The Lord is in control! Norge We have found meds that can reverse the problems my Girl Friend has been experiencing. But she is struggling with doctors that have diagnosed her wrong and are administering medication that is not what she is suffering from. It is making her really sick and they are considering upping her dosage or hospitalizing her and administering shock treatment. All of which will do nothing but fry her because she has Fibromyalgia and is not Phycotic. So still need pray and an intervention in a big way or these doctors are going to destroy a perfectly healthy women.

Norge I pray that the Lord embraces her life, opens up inroads to her torment and pain and shows her what encapsolating these emotions is doing to her. I also pray that she gets a handle on any medical issues that could be distracting her from realizing her true life and to giver her strength to change her life to feel better.

Bemigrace Thank you all so much for your prayers! My dad has joined a house church that has been meeting at our home. Although theyre no longer going to the same church as me, at least I know hes growing spiritually and is being used, which is his hearts desire.
Please still continue to pray for my brother. I have been inviting him to come back to church with his wife and their child.

The salvation of my brother and his wife. Ever since he got out of the Marines, hes lost his faith and its hard for him to get back to having a relationship with God. My dad is also struggling in his walk with God and hasnt been coming to church for about a month now. Mr. Awesome Father thank you first of all for your love, for your grace and for your mercy. You are the great healer and comforter. We ask that you be with her brother and her father. Make yourself real to them in a way that is undeniably you. Restore unto them the joy of their salvation and renew a right spirit within them. Glorisel God has refreshed my soul. He sent me a lot of trials which made me grow closer to Him... It was rough in there for a while... it still is... But Im holding on to His love and His grace. Praise Him. Thank You all for praying.

Glorisel Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for praying! Since posting this, God has been ministering to my heart every day... Cant say that everything is perfect; some things are getting better (like I just did interviews at three med schools praise God and thank Him for His grace... now I just have to wait and see where he leads me) and some things are getting worse (my friends dad died and hes gotten worse; hes gotten into pills and is talking about going to work in the streets; frankly, im remaining in prayer for him but im breaking up that friendship because he doesnt want help... hes just devastated but he doesnt want change right now... so im just praying for him)... But my heart has changed. Now, I can say I have joy again... And though every now and then Im troubled by the situations surrounding me Im feeling God and His peace more than ever and Hes been letting me know "NOTHING WILL EVER SEPARATE YOU FROM MY LOVE"... Somehow, in every song, in every Scripture, in every sermon that keeps coming up... Gods love... GODS LOVE IS SUSTAINING ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY... So, if you guys can keep me and my fam and my friends in prayers Ill thank you again, know that God is at work. GOD IS NEAR AND HEARING. PRAISE HIM! Im sorry that its so long but Im desperate... The past 7 months have been very hard. I had to drop out of med school in June due to my grades (I am currently trying again to enter med school or study nursing because my passion and purpose is in serving people through medical services so I can help their physical needs and introduce them to God in the process). In June also my grandma entered the intensive care unit and was on and off the hospital which was a grueling process for us and her and she went with the Lord in August so this is our first Christmas without her and its been so hard... On September I came to know that I have a chronic heart thing going on and am currently on meds but so far theyve upped my dosis 4 times and it isnt working; the other option is an operation. On November I got very sick and had to go the hospital due to dehydration and am currently under studies to see if I have another chronic condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Also on November my best friend and the guy I love seemed to be getting more depressed, talked about suicide (he has already tried it twice by now) and said he was getting marry to a girl after less than two months of knowing her only to dump her and stop living with her last Tuesday and start living with another girl on Friday whom he says is the one. He (my friend) is far from God and I feel a lot of confusion in his mind and spirit but he says he feels good about what hes doing; but I learned two days ago that he started doing drugs again with the girl hes living with so I dont get how this girl could be from God like he says when they are nit living pleasing God or even looking for Him. We talked (and had a fight while he was on drugs) and I told him that we should stop talking because it isnt right for me to be talking with a guy I love while he is living with a girl. We have been best friends for ten years; and Ive helped him through a lot of rough spots so Im going to miss him a lot and a part of me feels this isnt fair and more so Im worried about his soul because he doesnt seem to see what hes doing wrong. On top of all this, the family that was left in Puerto Rico with me moved to the states in August so I feel alone and my two best friends who are Christians are going through their own stuff (one was depressed and the other one is studying in med school) so theyre too busy to talk when I need it. Im also looking for a job since October, but to no avail. I write to ask for prayer for all my friends; specially Gabriel (hes the guy who isnt in a relationship with God yet) for his eyes to be opened to Gods truth and that he will receive conviction in his spirit about what Gods will truly is. I want him to be saved. I want to pray for my family as we pass through our first Christmas without grandma; specially my grandpa (they had been married for 54 yrs) and my mom and aunt and uncle (also pray for his salvation cuz hes the only member of the fam who isnt saved yet). Please pray for me; my health, me finding a job to help out my family and be able to take care of myself better, my emotions because its a lot and I have Gods joy but some days are better anf some days are just horrible, my carrer and most of all that God will give me direction and strength to do His will wtv it may mean to sacrifice; even 10 yrs friendship or being healthy or the dream of being a doctor. Pray anything that God puts in your heart for my life and my familys and friend; Im a vessel in Gods hands just desiring to please Him and to do His will. Thank you very much! Please pray for me.I work in a school for damaged teenagers who have problems with aggression. My problem has been with the staff however. They constantly bully me in insiduous way. The say Im not pulling my weight and criticise the work I do. I teach English and literacy and as its a mainly boys school I have had lots of trouble raising standards but I have - greatly. Instead of being praised for this, I am ignored and not included in the little clique of teachers who drink together. The last straw has come when I have put in a grievance procedure against a member of staff who kept removing my posts from the school website with no explanation. This person is a pagan and the first thing she ever said to me is There is no God, despite the fact she knew I was a Christian. The management listen to everyone but me and I have no voice in this place. There are many discrepancies in this school and I am worried about the students. I almost got another job recently. Just missed it! Is it the Lords plan I should stay here, despite the stress affecting my health. Help me Lord please....if you want me here open some doors, if not...PLEASE show me the way out with another position. Its taking over my life and getting out of hand.

Louise Thank you for your prayers on my behalf. My neck surgery has been delayed from 1/3/13 due to a decreasing white blood count that has gone well in to the abnormal range. So, Ive been sent to an Oncologist for evaluation. Im drinking organic fruit & vegetable drinks with seeds & nuts blended to hopefully help boost my WBC. Gotta get that WBC up so, I can get this surgery and move forward. Thank you again for your prayers. God bless, Louise

I am always praying for others, as do my children, and now I please need a prayer chain for myself and my 3 children. I trust in God to help me through an upcoming major neck surgery on January 3, 2013. I will be in a neck brace for 3 months and Im currently on Family Medical Leave Act from work which means Im not getting paid and Im the sole supporter of my 18 yr. old son in HS. I need a "sooner than expected" 3 month recovery so I dont lose my job on 2/28 if I cant be released by the Neurosurgeon for work. Also, my other 2 children 23 (son is a Chef in Chicago), and 31 (daughter is the Director of a non-profit Geriatric Center), as well as my 18 yr. old son, are stressed out over this surgery and my well-being. I would appreciate any prayers for my speedy, full recovery and most importantly my childrens well-being. Thank you so much for your support. Merry Christmas!

He has a doctors appointment today to find out what surgery he needs to have to hopefully once and for all fix a problem he has had for years. As far as we know there are 2 options for him and one is brain surgery and the other is less invasive as its in his face, not his brain. Please pray for the less invasive surgery for him as he is not a man of faith and wont be praying for himself.

Jonathan It turned out to be a group interview, to which one man asked questions that each of us took turns to answer in our own way, and though Ive knocked out all questions, I did not recieve a contact for a second interview. I am currently still unemployed and I ask that you please pray that I find SOME source of consistent financial income.

My husband just got found out he has diabetes and he had a job where he was on his feet 12 hour days so God lead him to a career change to truck driving school so he wont be on his feet for hours at a time but my prayer is that God will give him wisdom and favor to obtain his CDL and for God to heal him of health issues and for our finances to be restored and for God to help my daughter get into the Air Force because thats what she wants to do and God has led her that way. Tomorrow morning (Friday) my husband goes to his court hearing due to a situation from the past. Please pray it goes well. Also, I am 36 weeks pregnant and having sever swelling in my hands... its finals week in college so prayers that I will be able to have less pain and to finish the semester strong before our son arrives. One last thing, I have been out of work due to my pregnancy and my husband hasnt been able to find a job outside of his small part time one at the bowling alley which barely covers our rent. HI everyone. Lately I feel like Ive been slipping in my faith. I dont read my Bible as regularly as I used to, and I just dont feel like I have a group of Christians to connect with on a spiritual level. I go to church every week, I play in the worship band, I help out in the youth ministry, Im reading my Bible maybe 4/7 days a week... and I still feel like Im lacking. Maybe Im just caught up with life, maybe its because Im not reading every day, maybe its because something is replacing God, but I need to figure it out and I need to do it soon. Without God, I am a mess, and I cannot go back to that. I feel like Im letting go of my relationship with HIm, please pray. Thanks, God bless.
