Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. God bless yous all, and stay safe this Valentines Day...

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

I am so blessed to share my life with these extraordinary people and I thank you for this continued blessing. Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. You have blessed me with finding this beautfiul and amazing man and am asking for your power and stength to help me release him from his current nightmare which he has been enduring for the past two years coming. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

Jonathan Thank you for your prayers. Requests like this may be a little unusual on this prayer board, but I thank God that we can come to him about ANYTHING. The apt. that I live in has been rat free for so many years after all holes have been sealed off, and over a few minutes ago, I saw a mouse. I DO ask that eventually you take a look at my other prayer requests, though today in particular I want to send one out that specifically focuses on my room. I live in a 3 bedroom apt with my parents. Ive been blessed to have my own room after my sister moved out. Getting to the point, my room is a hot mess!!! about a month back or 2, my dad helped me clean and reorganize it to the point where it was practically spotless, but now it looks like a disaster again, and has been not even a month after it was done. Would you please pray, that I overcome the laziness, and develope the determination, and ambition. and TIME OF CONVENIENCE to clean my room, with no help but my help from the Lord of course. I pray, play my guitar, in praise and worship to the Lord all the time in that room. I think that he would be very pleased, if I present him a clean space everytime I invite him in.

Jonathan Well, Praise the Lord, Ive only had to work there for a total of two nights. I was a little bothered that I was not called to be there for the rest of the season, but I prayed Gods will, and I did all I could to be apart of that, and whether they didnt like me over there, or they didnt have room, or what-not, God took me out of it. Till this day, I have not had another job since, so I ask that you please say a final prayer regarding this aftre youve read this. I believe I have the victory out of that, but every movie that ends with a marriage, isnt the final ending in reality.. sooooo... if you get my spiritual metaphor here, I need a new job. A job that God would be pleased of me when I do it right. My prayer is mostly with the Fire Department of New York as Ive recently submitted an application to take that test.

So since november of 2010, Ive been looking for work. Not having a job has costed me a lot of things very dear to me. The only jobs that would take me is (halloween) seasonal acting jobs. After applying to sooo many jobs that I feel way over-qualified for, What Job calls me back? Nightmare Haunted House in NYC. This place is soo spiritually conflicting to me, and Ive quit in 08, but financially desperate, I told a friend there that if he put me down then I wouldnt do it again cuz itd be on him to. So now Im in, and I need prayers for a better job that I can LOVE doing, and that I will be spiritually secure in the mean time while scaring everyone in my lil wolf mask... smh.. PLEASE pray for me.. I dont want to lose certain things in my life as a result of this.

Her name is Jillian Hall, and Ive read an insider that she has posted on her Twitter that she was going into labor at 14 weeks of pregnancy. Later on she had recently followed up on that update saying "Our babys heart has stopped and is with God now...please pray for us." So I want to take that prayer request, and extend it out to this prayer board, as Im believing in God to do the unexpected in her life. Dont know what it is, because I dont know his ways, and I thank God for that, but in all this, I never knew what it was like to have someone close to me suffer this kind of pain, so my heart and prayers goes out to her, and I ask that you do the same.

Jeremiah Things are still progressing, and fundraising Ideas are flowing, Praise the Lord, come to find that instead of needing 10K like origionaly thought I only need 5K now. Also the mission organization I am going through is able to provide 2K to help me out.

He has banned her from the family and will not let her visit her sister for Christmas. Her stepmother has no "pull" in the issue. The man is stubborn and insensitive. Shellys birth mother lives in Mississippi and is in the AF overseas in Afghanistan. I feel so bad for the girl. She is 18 and finishing school; has 2 jobs, plans on putting herself through community college, and marrying my son in the future. Please pray for Shelly to let go and let God. Give her comfort and peace in her heart that shes tried with her father. He is missing out on so much....prayers that he will see how much he needs both of his daughters in his life. Thank you... She is 18 and finishing school; has 2 jobs, plans on putting herself through community college, and marrying my son in the future. Please pray for Shelly to let go and let God. I just have a prayer request about me and my sister, I guess. I just have a really hard time with her being married. For some reason, it was just so hard for me. I feel like my brother in law is stealing her away. They are both saved, but its just so hard. Compared to most couples they are great when it comes to not being all about each other. Keep my Dad in your prayers about this whole thing with the cirrhosis of his liver. I cant see him going through ANOTHER liver transplant, its too dangerous. Im just trusting in the Lord that He will take care of the situation. Pray that my Dad will keep fighting. Hes scheduled for some tests January of next year, concerning his liver. Pray for everything to go well, that they can get it under control and that whatever medication they give wont interfere with the medication he is on now (some of them he cant go without). Pray that the Lord would keep him safe and away from harm and keep him from having any more strokes (blood clots). Elena I told my mom about the email, suggested for her not to read it, but left the decision up to her. I told her most of the things that was written, but also said (which is the truth) its just not worth reading. Just pray for my moms healing and if and when she decides to read the email, may the Lord prepare her and not let her take the things her sister said about her to heart. Also pray that my Mom would just give it over to the Lord and trust in him. I hope that she will continue to draw closer to God, produce fruit, understand and have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ! Thank you and God bless!

Elena Thank you for your prayers! It is still painful to deal with, but I am just giving it to the Lord and letting Him handle all of this. I know my Mom will be OK, because she has me, my sister, brother in law and my dad to support her and uplift her. As well as our family at church! Thank you again for your payers!

I particularity worry about what others think of me, even those at my church. I come from a quiet and laid back family and so it is hard to connect with people because we are so quiet! My Mom and I laugh and joke about it, we say that since we dont socialize much, as a result we dont really know how to act around a lot of people! Doreen Elena i know we all like to make a good impression, but not everyone is looking for a perfect person and this inludes GOD, he takes as we are and he works on us to change how we feel about him and others and about our selves. He is the only one who can change your thinking, ask GOD to give you HIS confidence. There is alot of people who feel ocward around people and they feel they dont know how to socialize, i am one of those people as well, i have always been that way and i do care what people think of me but i also at times dont care what people think of me but that is deppening on the situacion as well. I dont let people tell me what i should be doing, if i know its wrong or i dont feel comfortable i dont care what they say or feel about me i just wont do it cause there is always concequences on the decisions we make, so i make sure i dont follow peoples actions because im affraid what they will think of me. It goes back to the old saying " just cause someone is willing to jump of a clip does that mean you should to cause your affraid of what they or people will think ". So i pray that GOD shows you how to be comfortable and to be just yourself. So when someone tells you to just be yourself they are already telling you they enjoy your company and your a fun person to be around. And i pray this in his name JESUS CHRIST amen -|-

Brandon Praise God. Soon after I posted about my youth group having trouble this young man (heck afterall he is 21 & I am 32) came to me after one of our Sunday services. He said he had an idea to canvas the neighborhood . So we started the following day. We now have increased his flock with 15 new young people. One of them was sitting in Church and I noticed he was tearing up. So I went to sit by him. When the service was over he told me he never those things about God and that he always just thought God was someone to push you around till you did things his way. To make a long story short. He accepted Christ as his savior.

Doreen Lord i pray you help this women and her two sons. Times are tuff right now I pray her sons help there mother with chores around the house and there homework. Darlena I came from a single parent household as well and i know its easy cause i watched my mom work 2 sometimes 3 jobs just to keep a roof over our heads, food on the table( that sometimes she didnt eat very much) so that i could have more to eat, and clothes on our backs( and alot of times my clothes she either made or the good will and sometimes before the clothes got into the goodwill store). She had work all of her life since the age of 3 years old. She only went to school up to the 3rd grade cause her mom made her work in the fields( her mom used her 9 children for one thing only $$$$) her mom didnt work a day in her life. I pray that GOD blesses you that you wont have to work 2 jobs just to survive cause now days thats what helps to get our kids to be in the streets and taking the wrong path. Things will work out in his time and sometimes we arent patient with his time. I pray GOD keeps you and your boys safe and blessed. I pray this in your name JESUS CHRIST amen -|-

Rachel Spoon I did really really well on my SATs and qualified for more scholarship money! So far, Ive been accepted into 5 school and have received financial aid from 4/5 of them (at least $8,000 per year from each!!!) Im still waiting on schools, but this is a GREAT start! These are only the merit scholarships, so I can gain more scholarship money by applying for talent based (music scholarships) and for Cal Grants and all. Thank you God!! You are sooo good. R L The LORD is working. He knows my heart and knows I love my students. Satan decided he was going to attack me and though he did for a few days, The LORD beat him down. For the battle is not mine. It is the LORDs and I love HIM for fighting for me because I belong to HIM 100%. I Thank you for your prayers and ask you for more prayers. This concerns scripture I have in my classroom on one of my walls. In 4 years not one person had dared said anything about it until a few days ago. My school is getting a visit from TEA (Texas Education Agency) and this one person asked me to take the scripture off the wall because what might the people from TEA think? I told her I would do anything she asked; move books, mop, sweep, rearrange furniture, paint etc. but I WILL NOT TAKE THE WORDS OF THE LORD MY GOD off the wall. She tried everything but I did not give in. She said she would take it to the director of the department. I said Do it. I"ve asked the LORD to shut their mouths like he shut the mouths of the lions in the den Daniel got thrown in and I believe HE will and I thank HIM for it. John Unfortunately my situation has become worse. Creditors now calling, Christmas looks very bleak, going without medical supplies, dog ill, house cold, running out of food.
I am so depressed at this holiday time. I am so stressed.
Please Lord I have offended thee and I need you back in my heart. I leave this in your hands

Rachel Spoon I have been able to put him out of my mind for the most part, but little things keep popping up. Hell be mentioned at church, or something will remind me of a past experience I had with him. Im still trying to keep my focus on my immediate goals (school, music, church) but hes not too much of a distraction anymore. Thanks! God bless!

Hey guys, Im kinda distracted by that guy again... I saw him today but didnt have the chance to go up to him to talk to him. The girl in my youth group have been praying for me so I could get over him, and I did for a while. My friend prayed for my to get over him, but for those feelings to come back if it was in Gods will. When I told her about how I was thinking about him again, she told me what she prayed for. I dont know if I should take this as a sign from God, because Im very skeptical about praying for relationships after the whole mess with my ex (when I was twisting things to look like signs from God). This guy is such a sweet young man, responsible, a strong believer, and just generally everything Id look for in a guy. I try to put him out of my mind, but its coming back. Please pray that God will just do His will and that these feelings wont distract me from whatever God has planned for me? Thanks. God bless!

John My prayer is that God opens your eyes to what He wants you to focus on. If its a person, so be it. If its the salvation of that person, so be it. If its a ministry or even just your own personal relationship with God, so be it. God is never wrong. We just have to learn to listen to HIm so we can follow! I still struggle with this myself sometimes. Hang in there Rachel!

It just really hurt because she says that she is a Christian, but if she finds something like that funny.... I dont even know. I know the world will hate us as they hated Jesus, but it just hurts.
