Caitlyn My papa David went into surgery the other day and they discovered that the mass in his throat is cancer. My Nana is taking it hard. However, His grace is suffient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness. My papa David is going to have surgery to remove the mass and then go through radiation. We need prayers for strength and healing. HEal CANer.

Mo Ive been married to my husband, Steve, for almost 15 years and for that entire time, my in-laws have been a huge problem in our marriage. They are still attached to my husbands ex-wife, who although she left him for someone else, they still have her over and include her in family functions. My husband doesnt seem to have a problem with it, but I do. They have not warmed up to me, even though Ive been in their family for 15 years. Theres been so much tension and its really driven a wedge in our marriage. Steves daughter has also resented me, and thats been another source of friction in our marriage. Now that my husbands daughter is getting married this year, his ex-wife seems to be everywhere and since my husband knows it bothers me, hes being secretive about his meetings and conversations with her and it has been hurtful and really bothersome. I would really appreciate your prayers that God would intervene in my marriage and solve this problem for us. Thank you so very much.

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. KellieStine I have many health issues including severe scoliosis,I have also been fighting a respiratory infection since Oct. I am grateful for SSI/Disability however $704 a month doesnt provide much.I am on a housing asst.program and recently the portion to my landlord went down and she is evicting me,I am humbly asking for prayers for health and that one of the 2 apts.I can afford will be available by 3/17 which is my final day to be out of this home.Thank you for C28 and all you do and offer,may God continue to bless and guide each of you. Amelia I would like to ask for prayers for my daughter and my grandson who is Autistic. My daughter goes out and works so very hard cleaning and trying to make a few dollars to put food on the table. Justinia My husband and I are trying to find a new home for ourselves and our 4 babies. We currently are in a 2 bedroom that has mold problems. I have found a place that is very affordable and exactly what we are looking for. It would be a blessing to my family. Im a nursing student and my husband is a hard worker working 2 fulltime jobs. Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. God bless yous all, and stay safe this Valentines Day...

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. Kamber Lord I pray that You will encourage Ingrid through the Holy Spirit. Fill her heart with your love-which is wonderful, beautiful, and selfless. My grandma had a seizer this morning and has been in th hospital since about 8 this morning. she has survived one before but it made her diabled, if she survives another one then she will be nothing but a vegtable. If she doesnt well, we all know what that means. Please, shes the only grandma i have left. I would love for her to see me graduate. She means the world to me, I cant imagine a world without her. Please pray that she makes it through without any complications. Thanks, Jenn

sophia Della is out of the hospital after brain surgery. She had the surgery on Tuesday, woke up Wednesday...and was released today. I spoke to her yesterday:)) she sounded great. Thank you for your prayers. To God Be The GLORY!!!

Della, she is 39yrs old and has a brain tumor that is on a main nerve. She had it operated on 6mos ago and it has grown back. She was facing death during surgery and brain damage. Her speech is slow and memory is not the same. The tumor has grown back and drs in Colorado will not perform another surgery. She found dr who will but is in Arizona on May 18th. She had to rent a car because hers was totalled last week, a car with bad breaks ran into them. She is fiancially struggling. Her doctor put her out on medical leave, if she does not get back to work within 6mos she will lose her job. She suffers terrible headaches and is tired much of the time which is unusual for her. She is the only one working, her husband has a back injury. She has a beautiful heart, she moved her mom in and took total care of her when her mom was diagnosed with cancer. Her mom passed away in her arms. At that time Della was struggling financially too. SHe has been the only one working for about 8yrs now. Anytime she hears of someone being sick, she makes sure there are people praying for them. She fears leaving her husband, boys, and 3 grandchildren. Please pray for her. It is a very risky surgery and only this dr would agree to operate. Thank you.

Her mom passed away in her arms. At that time Della was struggling financially too. SHe has been the only one working for about 8yrs now. Anytime she hears of someone being sick, she makes sure there are people praying for them. She fears leaving her husband, boys, and 3 grandchildren. Please pray for her. It is a very risky surgery and only this dr would agree to operate. Thank you.

serena oh hunny, you are so precious to God, and he loves you beyond words. the bible tells us in romans 8:27-30 that the Holy spirit prays for us always beyond words. Another comforting verse is Psalm 34:17-18, it has helped me and reminded me that everything that goes on in my life means everything to the Lord, Jesus cares about every detail in your life sweety. though there are some seasons in life where we go through so much pain, confusion, rejection and fear, we can take comfort in God, he is the same yesterday today and forever. Though circumstances change in our lives, God doesnt. pray that God will open wide the doors he wants open to you, and shut tight the ones he doesnt want you to go through. pray he will reviel this to you. life can be hard but God is MUCH bigger than anything we may encounter :)

sophia For all you who prayed for Della with the brain tumor...thank you! She made it through surgery. The surgery was on Monday, she woke up yesterday..and today I spoke to her on the phone. This was second brain surgery, doctors in Co gave her no hope. Dr in Arizona removed a good portion of the tumor, please continue to pray for a creative miracle. We need this tumor to go away. Also she has a swollen shut bruised eye, and now the other eye has some swelling, so please keep her in your prayers. I do not think she would have made it through surgery if it was not for your prayers. God Bless You All. Thank You C28 for this prayer line.

He also bought a car so he could have transportation to work and someone stole it last week. He is depressed that he has a baby on the way, no job that will support his family, and no car. Rodney Another member of C28 was kind enough to suggested a website, Setting Captives Free. This website has a 60 day program that helps people escape impurity, over-eating, substance abuse, gambling, smoking and more. I cannot believe it, but by the end of day 1 of my 60 day commitment I can already see a difference on how I view my life with Christ and the change I need to make to succeed.

Esther God answers prayer, first I want to thank people that have been praying for me, THANK YOU. Thank you for your commitment. 12 Comments I used to play basketball with a gentleman who was in his seventies. He was in great shape. He could run up and down the court with the twenty year olds. One day, we were talking and he said, "Joel, its kind of funny. When I was forty, my doctor told me that my knees wouldnt hold up with me playing as much as I do, but I just kept playing. At fifty, my doctor told me my back would start hurting if I kept running and jumping like this. But I just kept on. At sixty, he told me I could never keep up physically, but I could still run with the young guys. When I hit seventy, finally he told me to just keep playing as much as I wanted to." I laughed and said, "How long are you going to play?" He smiled and replied, "Im going to play until I get old."
I like his perspective because really, old is in your mind. Your body may age, but if youll stay young in your heart, itll help your body to age even better. The scripture says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This man had the heart of a twenty-five year old physically and mentally. He was always grateful, always happy, always in a good mood. You could tell he wasnt making plans to get old and worn out; he was planning on living out his life joyful, vibrant, and in good health.
Today, I encourage you to examine your outlook on life. Are you making plans to be healthy, strong, and vibrant? Are you making plans to be all that God has called you to be? Remember, your life will go in the direction of your thoughts. It all starts in your mind. Make the decision today to set your mind in the right direction so you can move forward into the destiny God has prepared for you

rose thank you for all the people that are praying for me. The situation in the workplace is still the same but with the help of god i am able to get thru the difficulties that are present there. when i leave i do feel a lot better from the worksite.

Excellent news per the social worker we are getting my baby boy back with by the end of the month.
my wife is still little hesitant at work now she is really thinking about quitting her job.
this does not feel right.
Still working on my daughter.
As for me still having those thaughts, not as bad but still contiplating if i should or shouldnt go out of our my marriage. it is very hard. Women dressing very provacative and talking about what they can do and not do , etc. Please keep praying for me thank you all

good morning my bothers and sisters,i have several request for prayer please. 1st prayer for my foster son to be back with us in tx, we were fostering him in our home back in oceanside and my company was closing its doors and had to relocate to Dallas, TX, and we were not able to bring him with us, so on May 17, 2010 is the court date to see if we get him back to our loving family and home, Social worker states possiblilty we might be put up for adoption, which means he might not come back to us,and the babies own family does not want him. So please Pray for that . 2nd my lovely wife is struggling with work and no one is listending to her she feels all alone and we pray together and leave it in the hands of our Lord and savior, and i now we should wait for him , but my wife is ready to walk out and i totally will back her up on this, please pray for her, my 12 yr old daughter is starting to use foul language at home and school and is hanging out with the wrong crowd, he have put a stop to this, but i want her to keep straight in the eye of Jesus Christ like she was back in Oceanside. Now myself, i have steered away a from the Lord, i still believe in him and he has provided so much for us, thank you. But i am not walking straight i have not read my bible, have not kept him in pray i have lusted after other woman , have not gone to the pronography and dont plan too, I want my heart to be pure again and to always rely on God, I am scared that i cannot provide for my family, i have thought on cheating on my wife and at times divorcing her, but i lover her so much and i know she loves me too. Lea I want to thank everyone who is praying, I pray that God blesses you and answers all your prayers as well. I can tell you that it is working, my boyfriend has committed to working on his weaknesses and his friends are following him. I didnt have to nag him, push him or threaten him; he did it on his own. I just mentioned my concern and he just decided on his own and started walking it. I knew it was God and all your prayers going up for us. Part of me thought it would be difficult but I just kept my compassion for him and his friends and when he told me today what he is doing I knew it was God and all the prayer warriors. Thank you!!! I really needed the help. As for myself I am gaining strength everyday and not suppressing who i am in Christ. God is Good! Please keep us in your prayers we have jumped a major hurdle I know he will give his life to Jesus in God timing and again thank you.

Doctors werent sure how shed pull out of the surgery due to her age. Shes a recent widow, and her children (adults) are taking care of her. Id take care of her but Im sick with bronchitis now. Kirk Well about 5 weeks ago my girlfriend and I broke up, which is not fun, but it has helped the both of us. We went through some rough times with talking behind each others backs, which we got straightened out thankfully! Now we still talk and are friends, but we both are seeking God a lot more than when we were together. I know personally God has helped me with patience, waiting, and not worrying about what will happen in my future with girls! God is GREAT and he uses you in many ways! I am thankful for how He has taken care of me through everything!

Chalsea Lord plz set my brother Kirk free from the evil, sinful thoughts that are plaquing his mind. Give him the victory in those areas where he once struggled! You said in Your Word that You would not make the desires so strong that we couldnt resist them, so Father plz give him the self will to let go and the determination that he will NEVER have to deal w/this problem again! And bless him for his humbleness to admit that he has a problem and that only YOU can deliver him. Amen!
