Cheryl We adopted a sibling group of 3, 15 months ago. While most of them are settling in, we have one who is very challenging to parent. We face 6-8 tantrums a week and I have no idea how to parent that. He will not respect my authority over him. He rejects me and lashes out at me. He has a deep mother wound and I am the focus of all his pain and anger. Please pray for his heart and his brain to heal so that he can become the man of God he was created to be. I am a very strong willed person. I believe that God gave me my will. As long as I use it to work for Him. I am strong enough to love my son to heal, but I grow weary. I am under so much stress that I dont sleep well. I just need a break. I need to see results from all the hard work that I am pouring into my son. He needs more than I can give. I have tried many avenues to get help and I run into road blocks all the time. One counselor threatened to turn us in to Childrens Service because he didnt agree with our parenting style. It was a blow and a betrayal. I was deeply hurt. And I often despair. Thank you for your prayers and support. I can use all the help I can get in this endeavor of parenting......

home I have been praying for my ex-husband for years, praying that he will find God, hoping that we could finally overcome our differences and put our family back together.He dealt me such a horrible blow last week that he is getting back together with the woman who broke up our marriage in the first place, after we had been discussing us dating again. I am so angry and hurt, and I dont know how to speak to him or be around him. I know its necessary for the kids sake, but I just dont know how.I dont know how to let go of the hurt, forgive him, and move forward, much less pray for him. But as my childrens father, I believe he is still part of my family, even if he has another family, and it is still my job to pray for him.I would so appreciate prayers to fight the good fight.

Lamar Hello my name is Lamar Pugh and I really need to pray with some body and get this prayer out. Im volunteer at H.A.L.O. here in Oakly and we are under some heavy battles right now and we just need prayer help. Please pray for are former president Tam Reed. She has been voted off the board because of the wicked people that control half of the board.They are like wolves attacking sheep ,Tam has work over 60 to 80 hours during the week severing the animals and giving the animals the best life they can ask for.She gives her heart and soul to the animals and half the board does not care about the animals but the money they get from them. Tam has had three surgerys and one more coming up on Monday. She has put up with so much drama and games from these people. They have totally have wipe her out, top the stress from running a place like H.A.L.O. ,add the emotional pull from saving animals that almost could died. Taking from animals shelters where they come close to being putting down. So it has been a rough year for tam and to add to tough year, her son Nick Reed became Marine and is now in Hawaii severing and protecting our country. Please pray for her stress ,for a good surgery,please pray for comfort and love.Please pray for Godly people to be round her and support her. please pray for the volunteers at halo and pray for comfort .Pray for the lord to take their pain so they can keep doing his will. Pray for wisdom and strength so they can help the lord .Please also pray for Renee tam sister , she also being attack by these boards members. Renee is the caregiver for halo and lives on site. She has been working vary hard and goes out of her way for the greater good for H.A.L.O. Always being a good teacher for the young and being a good example of Godly women. Eliza I have a 17 year old who is disobedient. He wont do no chores. If I ask him to do any thing there is always back talk. I NEED prayer because I dont think I can take any more. This morning all I did was ask him to take a shower and of coarse here comes the back talk. All he wants to do is stay in his room and watch tv and listen to music. He treats me like Im his servant. If I cook some thing he doesnt like he will not eat ( he acts like I always got to catar to him). As soon as he doesnt get his way, he tells me, I wish I would die. I am soooooo fed up. Hi prayer board. I came a few weeks ago requesting prayer that my husband find employment. The job he interviewed for over three months was given to an older, more experienced person - which is what hes running into everywhere with only a few years of experience since hes 25. Today he just got news that his student loans are no longer in forbearance. We now owe money to his student loans, we have to pay rent, pay for utilities, food, etc. We are tithers and are even giving above our tithes and offering for a faith campaign at our church. It seems like everytime we get a financial strategy together, something unexpected arises. I have been praying that God fix this situation and move in our marriage, but am beginning to grow weary after months of prayer with no results. I know I need to be a strong and supportive and loving wife to him, but I will be honest...Im getting impatient, frustrated, sad and drained. Working full-time, going to school full-time and being active in our church is already exhausting on me, so not being able to pay bills is just extra stress...I would really appreciate your lifting us up in prayer. I know this is all an attack of the enemy...

Helbin I want to personally thank everyone was involved in this prayer for me. It truly means alot and I am joyful that my fellow brothers and sisters have taken action and become true prayer warriors. I believe with all the prayer I received I have become stronger in my faith and have grown more spiritually with God. My grades arent up yet, but their slowly climbing by points. I ask that you all please continue or start praying for me again please, for God to keep help me in school, to help me evangelize, to help me do more stuff for his glory. To help me not be ashamed of him at all in school so I can pray in school without fear that I will be mocked or made fun of. One thing I think I need prayer for is for strength. Im a Youth Leader at my Church and I know God has big plans for me and my family. But lately I feel as if Ive fallen a great deal from God because of my sin coming up again, Ive asked for forgiveness and admitted to my sins and I know no matter how far I fall God will always bring me back up. But I feel like Ive fallen to far because Ive committed the same sin so many times, it feels like Im falling into a trap that I know how to get out of but temptation is strong from the enemy so I feel like sometimes when temptation comes it comes hard. I also feel very lonely sometimes, I know God is always with me. But yet I still feel very lonely sometimes even in a room crowded with people. Sometimes I feel people are always out to get me and say mean things about me and pick on me. I struggle with self-esteem issues sometimes aswell. My grades have been falling alot in school, Ive been cursing in school sometimes and bringing up the wrong conversations. Sometimes my thoughts are very wrong and I want to stop thinking sinfully but its like it just stays in my mind no matter how hard I try. Plus Im leading middle schoolers now that are proving to be a handful, but I know with God anything is possible. I really want to re-connect with God and have a powerful connection with him again. I want to make him and my family happy. I dont wanna feel lonely anymore or that everyone is out their picking on me and saying mean things about me and laughing at me. I need clarity that God will give me right now, everything seems a mess. My grades arent helping either, but I really want God and yearn for him and a very powerful strong relationship with him. Im a 15 year old boy in High School. Ive preached before and also ask God to give me insight of new sermons. I ask God to please fix me, and help me. Lisa Bacon I feel that you need to own who you are in Christ. You know being a Christian is not easy, but it is worth it. And I believe that Christ does not always give us what we need to be better but he creates it in us. Creating is a process. Just continue to pray, ask God to help you make choices that will give him glory. In the Bible one of the fruits is Self-control. Know when you need to say no and ask God for the strength to do it. That is why we call it faith to. Even though you cant feel it you need to know that you have the strength through God to rise above every situation. Exodus 14:14 " The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." I invite you to spend some quite time with the Lord. In the mean time I will keep you in my prayers. Be blessed!

They are bad influences and capable of anything! I just worry about my Mom being with them, (I could not go, due to multiple reasons). But just pray for the Lord to give my Mom strength, not let her family take advantage of her or get her upset and stressed out. I want her unharmed physically and emotionally! Dianna we have not found a home, we were turned away from a few and turned down on a few, either our family size, our credit or something else. The people would seemingly love us and then turn tail and have a different attitude. We applied on everything that was feasible. We put much of our stuff in a Uhaul waiting (if you pray for rain carry an umbrella lol). Our realtor/landlord was out of the country and wasnt available to answer calls from potential new landlords to get a reference. When he returned he came to our door screaming and yelling why werent we out and he was going to sue us, all our neighbors came out and listened and our children were present, was so terrible. (this man has health issues, and is a cronic liar) my hubby told him we pray for him and his wife daily. Prior to this he refused to except our rent for the month as we told him we needed to stay till we found a place. Out of the blue he says give me the rent this second in CASH or get out, and be sued. PRAISE THE LORD we had this money here at home (cash) the realtor became very kind and said if we didnt have a place on the first bring in next months rent on the 1st. Very crazy, almost like Moses dealing with Pharoah lol. (to recap, we have a large family in a small apartment, our neighbor on one side is an older gay man that is the HOA president, he has tried everything to force us out of here, he bangs on our wall and harrasses our children and complains to the HOA) our realtor let us out of our lease so we could move away from the situation, it has been crazy to say the least. We have 8 children at home still, we lost our homes and everything else 4 years ago, and relocated to start over, we have been homeless many times, real almost riches to rags story) what we need is our business to really go to the next level, and a home where we can settle in for a lonnnnng time. Jennifer Around December of 2011, I wrote a prayer request to pray for the love of my life, Tyler, who left to basic training. I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and let you know he made it through and graduate on February 17th, 2012. I was fortunate enough to spend the weekend with him and his family. I hope you all continue to pray for him because he has to stay there a bit longer before he leaves. He will either be located in Pensacola (Located in Florida) or Gulfport Battalion Center (Located in Mississippi). He is being held up in medical hold for his seasonal allergies and may switch over to being a "seabee" if he is unable to be in the air crew. Please pray his seasonal allergies dont stop him from being in Pensacola instead of in GBC. Thank you all for your support. Ill keep you in my prayers, just please keep Tyler and his family in yours.

The guy I love left for basic training on December 12th, 2011. He is going into the Navy for 6 years and I dont know the next time he will be back. Before I ask for your prayer request, Ill give you a little background. We have had a rocky year and a half of knowing each other; always a love-hate relationship. But in the end I love him with all my heart and I believe he loves me too. He finally grew up and signed for 6 years with the Navy because he wanted to do something with his life and I wanted him to as well. I am so proud of him, and so are his family. He was adopted when we was younger and hes always been a rebel. He worked his teen life away and was on drugs for a while. I guess he never could accept that he was adopted and claimed that no one loved him or cared for him. He always told me the reason he needed me was because I was the only one who genuinely, without strings attached, cared for him. I do, very much. But I believe his mother loves him and his little sister. His brothers I know care for him, even though they dont show it, I know they do. The last weekend he had here was spent with me. On Saturday night he broke down because he thought about his cousin whom he lost in August. Then he talked about his little sister and how much hes going to miss her and how she doesnt understand why he has to leave. He doesnt show this side; ever. Hard outer shell; fragile inner. That whole deal. But that night, I know he finally came to terms with the fact that he was leaving in two days. His departure finally came and the last words we left off on was "I love you, Ill miss you, See you soon." My prayer is for him and his family. His name is Tyler. Please pray to keep him safe through these next years, pray he sleeps well at night, pray he enjoys it, pray he sees life, and pray that he becomes a better man. I will wait, 6 years or 100, for his return. Right now my focus is only school and soon enough we will be reunited. But i ask you to please pray for his safety and return.Thank you.

I feel like Ill be on here everyday lol...Anyways, lately my mom and I have been fighting a lot. Not fist fights but just little arguments that escalate to big ones. I dont know why but these fights have been occurring more frequently since turning 19 (Im 20 going on 21 in five months, if God permits) This has put such a disturbance in our relationship that its even starting to affect my dads relationship with me. He hates taking sides but most of time he goes on my moms. That tells me that Im the one with the problem but cannot recognize what is exactly, yet.

My grandfather has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and he has never picked up a cigarette in his life. There is a mass on his lung and it cannot be removed with radiation. He is going to have surgery some time around Christmas and I am afraid he may pass away. My mom is planning on going to see him and be there during the surgery, but I want everything to go smoothly. He is very old and has lived a great life, but I could not bear to have my mom lose her last living parent. I pray that his surgery is a success and that he makes a healthy recovery.

Tasha Shes still touch and go now and again. Theyre probably going to have to do a C-section with the baby to make sure shes born safely. Shes bigger than they thought and my sisters rather tiny. Theyre afraid if they cant get the baby to flip that theyll have to do the C-section because they dont want to do a breach baby, my sister has seizures now and again and theyre taking every possible precaution to make sure she and the baby are safe. Though her gallbladder is now giving her problems, they may have to take that out as well. Praying for healing over her and protection of my soon to be niece.

Shes lost 3 children before they were born this is her third time being pregnant[shes lost a set of twins[boy and girl i believe] and another child[i dont remember the gender] ] Shes a HIGH risk pregnancy and went into early labor Thursday night. They were able to stop it but shes on bed rest until the baby arrives. This is extremely hard for her to do since shes so used to doing something all the time. Elena Please continue to pray for my dad. Sometimes his liver hurts, Im not sure what is going on. He also really needs to lose weight. Pray for the strength and will for him press on. And for him to have a deeper relationship with Christ. Thank you! God bless. :)

Keep my Dad in your prayers about this whole thing with the cirrhosis of his liver. I cant see him going through ANOTHER liver transplant, its too dangerous. Im just trusting in the Lord that He will take care of the situation. Pray that my Dad will keep fighting. Hes scheduled for some tests January of next year, concerning his liver. Pray for everything to go well, that they can get it under control and that whatever medication they give wont interfere with the medication he is on now (some of them he cant go without). Pray that the Lord would keep him safe and away from harm and keep him from having any more strokes (blood clots). And also that he would try to be more active and not sleep so much and actually try and be successful in losing weight. Thank you! Your prayers mean so much! God bless you.

Elena I told my mom about the email, suggested for her not to read it, but left the decision up to her. I told her most of the things that was written, but also said (which is the truth) its just not worth reading. Just pray for my moms healing and if and when she decides to read the email, may the Lord prepare her and not let her take the things her sister said about her to heart. Also pray that my Mom would just give it over to the Lord and trust in him. I hope that she will continue to draw closer to God, produce fruit, understand and have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ! Thank you and God bless!

My Moms sister is very mad at her. My Mom is just stuck in the middle over family drama. Im sorry, but her family is close to crazy, very angry people, only see one way and love to attack others. They dont know how to forgive or how to love, they are all adopted, but still... None of them know Christ, some of them are on drugs, or drink alcohol. I help my Mom with her email and how to get on it, well I saw an email from her sister and have not told my Mom, because Im afraid that what it says will be very hurtful. I know it will....her sister basically does not want anything to do with her, and calling my Mom simple minded because of her past brain injury. Im just very angry and hurt for my Mom. I want to protect her and keep her away from harm...I just dont know what to do. Maybe my Mom has made mistakes, but none close to her family and she does not deserve the treatment she gets.

Elena Thank you for your prayers! It is still painful to deal with, but I am just giving it to the Lord and letting Him handle all of this. I know my Mom will be OK, because she has me, my sister, brother in law and my dad to support her and uplift her. As well as our family at church! Thank you again for your payers!

Guilt: I am good friends with a married couple. They have been married longer than I have known them. I am feeling guilty because I have fallen for the husband and my mind is telling me to tell him to divorce his wife ( they also have 2 kids.) Do I tell them whats going on and ask for forgiveness or just leave it alone? Please pray that I choose the right direction to go in. Thanks

Brandon I wanted to give this update. I asked all of you to please keep my churches youth group in your prayers that we might grow not just in numbers but also stronger in the Lord. We took to the streets a gave out flyers and this passed week had 18 H.S kids at youth group and everyone of the brought there parents.

nicole GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYER!! I passed my nclex exam... and through that i motivated a lot of people to take their exams too.. people were also moved by how God is working on me... Amazing stuffs are happening in my life and its all because of JESUS!

Elena Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for all praying for my dad. He went in for a hep. b shot and we are still waiting to hear from his doctor about some tests done on him. We wont really know too much until January. Hes been having stomach problems for awhile, just be praying that it is nothing serious. But THANK YOU to each and every one of you for praying! My family and I appreciate it. :)

I just found out that my Dad has cirrhosis of the liver. He already had a liver transplant years ago in 1993 or 1996, from past alcohol abuse. Hes lucky to have lived this long, not many make it as long as he has. He is 56, been through numerous health problems most of my life, he is on a lot of medications and has been through two strokes. He already has hepatitis C and they gave him a hepatitis B shot to prevent him from getting that too. The doctor wants him to go through some treatments, but my dad does not want to. Hell have to go in every week for shots and medications. But theres a possibility that it might interfere with the medications hes taking now, some of them he cant go without. Im really scared for my Dad, I love him so much and I dont want him to go. Pray that the Lord will protect him, keep him safe and that he will be healed. Thank you so much for your prayers.
