christopher david This is a follow up prayer request for Lorinda Quest...Ive been talking to Lorinda for about 9 months on the phone, chatting online,etc. Weve gotten to know each other as well as we possibly can without actually being together. We have basically fallen for each other and have been praying for the Lord to do His will in our lives. We have both expressed the desire to get married. We have been praying together and asking God for guidance. This is probably the strangest thing God has ever done to either one of us and we are actually enjoying each others company even though we have never even touched. We both desire for our relationship to go in the direction that He wants it to. We have agreed not to put each other before Christ. Jesus Christ comes first no matter what happens. Unfortunately, I am just a poor college student going to Victory University for my ass. degree in Christian Ministries. She is a student in Africa and she can always attend school here if she can get here. Not only is it killing me that shes in such a dangerous country, but also I forsee no way to get her here nor how to take care of her if/when she does.I am a certified chef, but I have chosen to go back to school to serve Christ. Micah Please pray for my family we all seem to be under attack, mostly health/medical issues. Me financial and job wise I am in the final four weeks of school and all this trouble is keeping me from studying and completing assignments. My fam that i am living with are still pushing me out the door even though i have no place to go and no job. As soon as school ends i dont know what will become of me. Yet they still ask for favors and expect me to do things for them even though they still want me out by the 3rd week of May. ISABEL Please pray for the salvation of my husband. I know he loves me because he goes with me and my 3 baby girls to church and even wants to do some anti abortion protesting but he is missing one huge thing and thats a relationship with Jesus Christ. I so long to have him lead our family in prayer and I know hes got a heart for service so why not serve the one true king? Nathan I have a friend who is like a brother to me that is really needing prayers at this moment. I have been talking to him and he has started to go to church with me. Now he believes in God but I dont know if he KNOWS God. So pray that he would turn his whole life back around to Jesus. He also got laid off from his job a few weeks ago so pray that he might find one soon. He also has a few personal battles that he is going through with his family looking down on him because of his past. Pray that I would have the words to say to him when I talk to him that would be an encouragement and a blessing to him. and I already want to thank God because I KNOW that he is going to answer these prayers one way or another. Jasper According to the people around me, I have two friends. But i dont feel that way. I started out with excitement. We are all Christians and I was so looking for a fellowship. But after 1 week, i got to know their true nature and now i am starting to develop resentment. I am doing medicine, 3rd year. I have been patient with them for 3 years. but now, whenever i see them, i will think "oh God, do i have to say hi?" They have mocked me, called me a traditional freak for the sake of asking them to read Bible everyday and not only on sundays, the "righteous" show-off and more. I have kept quiet. But recently, I am not able to do that. I feel like talking back to them harshly. One of them is always complaining, talking bad language, and has a bit of pride. the other one is always arguing and tries to prove that she is right and often makes fun of others. Now i am starting to think whether it is Gods will for me to be with them or not. I need your advice and prayer. And please do pray that the hurt they have caused would heal soon and that i would get the strength to forgive them

Jason My son has been in the USAF for almost a year and half now. He worked very hard throughout high school and went to basic training only 6 months after high school graduation. Since the age of 12 all he wanted was to join the USAF. Tomorrow he is taking what is known as his CDCs (Career Development Course), Basically a test about his job. He needs a 75.1 or better to pass. Its a 100 question test. If he fails this test he and his immediate Supervisor have to plead his case before the Base commander for a 2nd chance. If he isnt granted the opportunity at a retake he is discharged from the Airforce, If he is able to retake the test and still fails once again he faces a Discharge. My son Brendon is a hard worker with a strong work ethic, stays out of trouble, and has served well during his time in the service. He does not test well. He nerver has. He is one of those people that knows all the answers but when that piece of paper is set in front of him entitled Test he freezes up. I ask for your prayers in his time of need. Andrea So, its very rarely that Im bored. When I do I just feel this temptation of masturbation. I usually give in. Whenever I give in, I feel awful. Also, I have long distance boyfriend and we are both Christians. Hes had a history of sexual sin and whenever Im with him, I want to go far and when I see him next, I want to have control and make sure we are definitely keeping out distance since I dont know when God wants us to marry.

Tracy I am requesting prayer for my family and for the church we attend. We are seeking God for avenues to generate finances to support our family as well as the resources necessary to make it work. Health problems have caused me to take a leave of absence from my job and Id like to be able to work at home and in the ministry full time. Leah I recently got out of a relationship with by depressive boyfriend and Im very concerned for him. He broke up with me as he has once before and now as the last time he is feeling suicidal but wont let me or anyone else talk to him. Nathan my granddad just had emergency surgery last night to remove an infection on his spine. It had gotten so bad that he couldnt feel his legs. he came through the surgery fine but pray that it will be a fast recovery and that hell take this opportunity to see that he needs to get back into church I know that God can do all things so I know that this is nothing that HE cant answer

Emily In December of 2012, my sister was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She is in her mid 30s and has a loving husband and two young kids. The doctors said she was too young to have colon cancer but yet, she has it. More and more issues are coming up and its making it very hard on my family. She is VERY strong and loving. She can beat this with Gods help.

angela My brother, Kellen has a problem with his heart and will need to undergo his first heart surgery in around a months time. I hope you can help me pray for him so that our Father will cure him in such a supernatural way, Kellen wont need to go through all of these surgeries that the doctor has written down for him. He will be going through a detox program soon, and pray that it will help him improve his condition and make his body on the way to perfect health. Rey Been marriage for 14years and my wife and I were struggling for the last few years since moved to state of WA. Now my wife lost love and left me for something I cant give her for our family. Im just heart broken, hurt and dont know what Im going to do. We both have 4 children of our own and they all just being confuse. Was living with her parents home for temperaly to find our own place but kicked out by her in-lawsand left me out like a stray dog. Being out alone with no support. It was hard for me and not sure whats next and concerning with my children lving with their grandparent too long. I just like I lost my family and Im praying God to restore my marriage and my family. My sister Veronica. She got caught up in a scam a while back and its affecting her finances to this very day. It feels as though the walls are closing in on her as the bills keep coming in and the mortgage still needing to be paid with little money to pay for them. She is trying to sell her house now which will remove the debt. My heart aches every time I hear how she feels about the situation, it feels to her like there is no way out. The house has been on the market for nearly a month with no one interested...Please pray that God shines a light to the right buyer and that it is sold for the right price! I cant stand to see her in this way. Thank you friends! - Australia

He has interviewed for a position close to our home that is all he every hoped for: great hours so he can continue ministry at our church, close to home, able to work from home, great benefits, limited travel, and requiring the skills he possesses. He had his fourth interview last week and still has not heard back. When he called Wednesday, they still had not made a decision. I am soliciting the prayers of this board that he get this job offer. We really need the finances. Thanks be to God that He has kept us to this point, but we are at wits end and starting to fall in debt with the rent, car note, utilities, etc being paid with just my limited income. Hes finally starting to get his life turned around, Im proud of him. Please pray for Gods will and favor in this job interview. I ordered gifts last week and it was stolen off our step. The postmaster said he put it there,,but I went out to check my mail as he drove away and there was nothing out there. Doreen Nick i pray that GOD gives you guidence in your life all areas of your life. But keep in mind that the devil knows scripture as well and he will guide you as well and have you believe that this is guidence is comming from GOD I pray that you can detect the diffence of who is really sending you guidence. REMEMBER GOD wont give you guience that will harm you or anymone else most of all GOD himself so use common sence and go with what your heart <3 feels. LORD i pray that the devil does not get hold of Nick and guides him away from you, i pray you help Nick with desicion in his life that are good and come from you and you alone, and i pray this in your name JESUS CHRIST amen -|-

diane I would like to thank you all for praying for these two young people. It really means a lot to me since it is so hard to stay Christ centered (in a relationship) in today`s culture. I believe that God is answering these prayers daily. He knows their worries, and struggles They sometimes struggle with miscommunication but try hard. I thank you so much and hope that you will keep praying for them (F. and J.S). In particular, my daughter sometimes struggles with the situation that her boyfriend is often busy with other occupations (music, concerts which he loves) and she sometimes feels like second priority). I am sure that he doesn`t try to do this..it is just a communication issue. God knows them each one and, with your prayers, will help them. Thank you and blessings to you all

I would like to pray for my daughter and her boyfriend (both christians) that God would continue to bless and nurture their relationship, That he would help them to keep their relationship Christ-centered and that he would plut a protective fence around them of love, honesty, kindness and faithfulness to help keep their relationship strong. I would also pray that God would help them to communicate effectively with one another in love and kindness and always with a desire to hear the other.
Doreen My husband still has not found a job yet but the unemployment has been extendid till december. So i thank GOD for that, but please still keep us in prayer please.

judi God still has not answered my prayer. He is still working on my husband and having him turn his eyes back towards me. My husband knows what he has, but he is afraid of letting go of his control and just allowing our relationship to move forward. My husband is stuck in the past and that is his issue. God is making me currently ask for respect from my husband. Asking for this respect means I cant contact him or go near him and it is very difficult. All I need is for him to quit texting his female friends when I am visiting and he cant seem to do that.

Joel Lord I thank you for the obedient heart that you have given Judi in her trying to restore her marriage. I can only image the struggles she must be facing and I pray that she would not give in to bitterness which can poison the soul. I pray that she would be a light to her husband and an example of what a woman of God should be. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." Lord I pray that Judi would weather this hardship and all the temptations that come with it. I pray that you would reunite her marriage and that you would bring her husband to the light we have in you. I pray that you would heal Judis heart from the wounds that her husband has inflicted on her and I pray that you would be her rock in times of trouble. One of my favorite settings to dwell worship is at True Worship Church in Brooklyn, New York for Midnight Prayer which is scheduled at 12am between friday and saturday, and tonight was such an amazing experience that even over an hour after it was over, the prophet that was there was STILL speaking. The few people that were there were listening to him saying a whole bunch of things INCLUDING (in paraphrase) "When I tell someone Im a Christian, or minister, or praise and worship leader, they can ask "Are you Religous" I just say no. . if they ask "Do you go to church" I say yes. . . they can tell me theres no point in going to church or tell me I shouldnt go to church, I tell them "Do you drive a car? yeah, dont take it to the gas station for the next 3 days" See what they say. Theyll tell me "Oh I have to bring it to the gas station" I ask why? what happens to the car when it doesnt? Itll break DOWN. I go to church, because (in metaphorically speaking) Im not pushing no car" . . . . . As awesome as this word was, that last part is where my prayer request comes in. while the few of us were there, I decided that it would be wise of me to open my mouth and say "Wait a minute, wha? you just said youre not pushing no car, that means youre pushing some car" (in reference to a double negative sentence) I find stuff like that to be confusing, but for me to say that was VERY UNWISE, and Im kinda not over the fact that I said that. after I said that, it was a bit of laughter, then everyone finally left and went home, but I know, and the people there know that me saying that was a huge mistake. PLEASE pray for me that I can get over that, and for the people that they can rather remember the message that they received more than that stupid comment I made. Interceding in your criticisms is of God. a public accusation is of satan.

Needy Servant Sorry it took so long for me to update, but i am always late. i am still struggling, but at least its more of a struggle and less like me giving in. i am reading more, and trying to get right. Maybe that is another reason why i havent updated yet, i feel like i havent improved enough, but i need to learn to not be so hard on myself.Also i have been frequenting this site more and thats good. I spent a few long months away from this website, and I have been hurting. I have been slacking, no, honestly I have not been reading at all for those months. I have been quenching the spirit and giving into temptation. All kinds of stupid stuff has been my "excuse" to sin and shy away from God. I need Him, I want Him back, I want to flee from temptation, I want to kill sin, I want to be real with Him, I want to draw near to Him, but my flesh has been getting stronger and stronger the last few months while my spirit was being malnourished and beaten. I want to truly repent, I want to hate my sin again, I want to love Jesus more than ABSOLUTELY everything again, please pray for me, please. I hate where I am and feel so weak and far behind. I dont have any fellowship, I cant meet with the guys from church much anymore because of work and school, and the few people in my life I have contact with arent christian, or they are just as callous towards God as I have ben lately. Thank you so much, I need this.

My grandfather has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and he has never picked up a cigarette in his life. There is a mass on his lung and it cannot be removed with radiation. He is going to have surgery some time around Christmas and I am afraid he may pass away. My mom is planning on going to see him and be there during the surgery, but I want everything to go smoothly. He is very old and has lived a great life, but I could not bear to have my mom lose her last living parent. I pray that his surgery is a success and that he makes a healthy recovery.

Deborah Nick continues to see his psychiatrist, pediatrician, and school counselor. He participates in theater at school and thats what keeps him active. He still suffers, but his family hasnt given up hope! Thank you all for the prayers!

Courtney I am so sorry about this situation! :( Know that so many prayers are with this family. This boy needs to know that he is loved by so many people, and especially by the Lord.. I used to be suicidal, and its very hard to get over so many things.. But the Lord is the only one who could save me, and He did.. It was a long, hard road, and this is the same for every person who is suicidal.. Keep an eye on him and let him know that he is loved despite his knowledge of a broken heart. God bless you all.

Tasha Shes still touch and go now and again. Theyre probably going to have to do a C-section with the baby to make sure shes born safely. Shes bigger than they thought and my sisters rather tiny. Theyre afraid if they cant get the baby to flip that theyll have to do the C-section because they dont want to do a breach baby, my sister has seizures now and again and theyre taking every possible precaution to make sure she and the baby are safe. Though her gallbladder is now giving her problems, they may have to take that out as well. Praying for healing over her and protection of my soon to be niece.

Shes lost 3 children before they were born this is her third time being pregnant[shes lost a set of twins[boy and girl i believe] and another child[i dont remember the gender] ] Shes a HIGH risk pregnancy and went into early labor Thursday night. They were able to stop it but shes on bed rest until the baby arrives. This is extremely hard for her to do since shes so used to doing something all the time. Shes not saved, which really saddens me, and I wish that God would bring someone into her life that would show her the amazing love of God. Ive tried but she rejects any attempt I make. Please please pray for her and the baby whos name is Baylei. They both need prayer badly. Thank you so much. I really do hope she comes to know Jesus as her savior. I really do.

Doreen I pray that this youg man returns to GOD where he belongs, the devil is going to turn the heat up per say on this young man telling him that GOD wont take him back cause he left GOD. Jody keep praying for him and dont stop telling him he can turn back to GOD just as he is, GOD isnt just interested in the people of wealth or high standards. Alyssa Faith Mark. Rep Went to the doctor and she told me that its just allergies. I also got a prescription for a nasal spray that is supposed to help my congestion and sinus pressure, to help relieve inflammation. She told me Ill probably have to keep taking allergy medicine through the whole allergy season which means through winter and spring. Lets be praying that this medication helps and makes me feel better. But I do have to say everyday Im feeling a little better. I feel better than I did 2 or 3 days ago. So keep on praying that this medication helps me.
