Joe I need help building a relationship with God. I find it hard to make him my priority. I want him to be in my life everyday not just a once-a-week thing. I dwell on my past too much and feel like God wouldnt have a relationship with me. I keep falling and its hard to get back up. I dont want to keep sinning and I need help so God can change my HEART. I dont want to desire the things I keep desiring. I want to be whole and pure with the Lord. Please ask him to completely change me and make me wholly and completely HIS. I need a relationship with God. Thank you so much!!!

Brittany Long request short(ish), my unsaved father has been suffering with trigeminal neuralgia (basically severe nerve pain in the face) for years. He has been prescribed many medications some have given him terrible side effects and others have ceased being effective. The severity of this problem varies throughout the year. I have prayed and cried out to God until I had no more tears to shed or energy to waste. When I get excited that my dad is healing and I praise God it seems like right after his pain is back. I have posted this request on multiple sites, my church family has prayed and I cant help but feel like God wants my Dad to suffer and that just doesnt sit right with me. Spiritually I know that doesnt make sense but the human side of me is at times resentful. Like if I had a child and I saw them in pain I would help them without thinking twice. When my dad groans in pain just from taking a bite of food I find myself looking up thinking, "SERIOUSLY GOD?!" As if hes dangling my dads pain in front of me and again I understand it doesnt make sense and I dont want to feel that way. I just wish a miracle could happen so that maybe my dad could see it and believe God loves him and is real. But why should he have any beliefs? If he knew how much he was prayed for and saw it being ineffective it would just solidify his unbelief. Thoughts of my dad dying from TN or complications surrounding treatment terrify me because hed be going to hell and I would know that God could have done something when he didnt no matter how many prayers were sent. So please, pray for my dads spiritual and physical healing and pray for me also as this whole thing puts me on an emotional and spiritual roller coaster.

PS 95 Im a student from Thailand. Last year I went to a Christian school in Greeley, Colorado, as an exchange student. During January 2012, I became Christian. Sabina Please pray that my father, who is having surgery today that his kidneys are healed and that he does not need to go on dialysis and also for the health and well being of my husband , children and mother and father in law. Alexandrea I have been together with my boyfriend for over a year now. I am strong in my walk with God, but he isnt because his family is not that strong at all. Were still in high school. He told me a week ago that he had lost some feelings toward me due to lack of hanging out and doing to the "daily routine and going threw the motions" which I was feeling as well. But I didnt lose any feelings for him. We have been hanging out a little bit each day after school. Things have gotten better but I need prayer for the Lord to bring me peace, guidance, strength to not be weak, and for him to fall back in love with me. For God to be the center of our relationship and to not let the world tell him what is right and wrong. Please. :(

D A lot of my friends, including my best friend, are really into a blasphemous webcomic called Homestuck. The comic as based around zodiacs, witchcraft, and characters becoming gods, among many other evil themes. My friends dress up and mimic the demonic-in-appearance characters. I really need them to see the true light of the Lord and that the comic is evil and stop their obsession with it. This comic has caused quite a few fights between my friends and I, and among them, and these fights need to end.

Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. That Erik, my oldest son, may overcome the issues with his eyesight, that the kerataconis will be healed by Jesus and there will be no need for surgery. Lastly, please pray for guidance and wisdom concerning our impending move back to Tennessee. Praying that my health will be better there, as Ive chronicled. Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. I think my husband will let satan get our marriage this time. PLEASE PRAY that God will step in here is some miraculous way. Christian H She went back home, but didnt have to drop out. She can leave for even up to 2 years and then come back without reapplying, which is a huge relief to her, and an answer to prayer. Wednesday night about 5 other friends and I hung out with her and played cards and stuff. She really didnt want to leave, but I know God is doing something. Hopefully her brother or Stepdad will take up the roll of taking care of her other siblings while she goes back to college. I am going to be keeping in touch with her, and please keep praying when you think of her. Thanks for the support guys.

kimberly THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK! I just dont think I can say that enough to whom prayed for my husband. Tonight he went to visit a new church and had a bible study with him. He called me with the passion I thought he had lost. He feels like all his qeustions have been answered, hes not home yet but I just had to share the wonderful news. Please pray for another boy I met at camp. He was an Athiest, then he became Catholic. We were talking one day and he showed me the cuts that he gave himself last year. (He has stopped cutting since he started going to church). I told him that scars heal. He said "Not all of them." And then we had to go somewhere and I really wanted to tell him that although his scars may never heal Jesus scars were used to help Thomas know all that God had done. I feel like God is telling me not to get back in touch with him and tell him that. So pray that he will stop feeling regret for what he did and that he will forgive himself and move on. Pray that he will know that his past does not define him.

KingsKid My cousin is doing quite a bit better now. He still needs to have Jesus in his life, though. I believe God isnt finished with him yet. Thank you all for your prayers.

Keith No final answer yet, but here is an update: Her dad passed the paternity test. it looks like there are two roads, 1. accept his terms for visitation w/o joint custody or 2. take it to court. My in laws have expressed specific concerns that i am not able to mention. please continue to pray for her, that 1. God will be her mighty shelter and that He will relentlessly protect her. 2.Her dads heart may be softened and accept Jesus as his savior. 3. The family will heal from their loss of their daughter and sister. 4. That God grants the family peace and compassion. Thank you i appreciate the prayers.

The baby girl has basically been raised by my in-laws and She loves her pap and nana.Her dad has not been in the picture, until now. Her dad has been in and out of jail for various things. The dad does not like my in-laws. My in-laws are trying to seek custody of the baby to raise her in a loving Christian Home. Please pray that:1. My son is going through a terrible time. He is driving himself into a deeper depression everyday. He tells me his troubles and I try to get him to try faith, but he claims to be an atheist. He says he woke up one morning and realized he was praying to God because he was "supposed to" and decided that he just doesnt believe. I tried explaining that God answers prayers and if we let Him take control of our lives, He will "have our backs" so to speak. Please pray for God to touch him and open his heart to accept Him as his Savior.

Last night my boyfriend revealed to me his want/need to seek knowledge to find the joy, happiness and peace that only GOD can provide. He is not one to be faith driven, but i believe that God is changing his heart to see TRUTH. I know this will strengthen our relationship that he and I have together. Our relationship is now being built on solid ground, no longer shaky ground, with each other as we both are on the same path to GODs Love! Ariel Yesterday my sister reactivated her facebook account and sent me a "<3" on my wall. I sent her a message telling her that Im not stable enough to have people coming in and out of my life, and she got mad at me again, so I apologized for offending her and whatever. kaitlynn nicoleee i have many freinds that are gay bi or lesbian. i tell them what my beliefs are but i dont try to push it too hard i don know exactly what your situation was like whether she over reacted or not buuuut i will pray for a good turn out between the both of you

Kevin Just having a real update of the power of Jehovah moving powerfully in our generation. A man 20 year older than me, a homosexual lived a difficult life. He spent alot of his time hurting and not know the path God had chosen for him. His father was a pastor but all his life he had to deal with the presence of person(s) telling him he would burn in hell. (Just a reminder the love of Christ came for read moresuch as these), so let us all be careful what we say. After a night of drinking and belligerant ranting he finally broke down hearing his sobs I asked him if he needed prayer, he seemed to sober up in seconds. That night (Saturday 5, 2010) 3:sumthing a.m. he gave his life to Christ. Im psyched on Christ now. Everybody just want to encourage you KEEP PRAYING! Youve got family members that envy you, and hate you for Christs sake, bless them. Tell them why Christ is you banner for salvation and Ill be praying for all of you as well.

So, I dont really know yet what happened last night but he said "that yesterday he found out we only have one life and that we should make the most of it... that hes going to be here for a whille".... I know that the only way his mind was change was through a miracle of God ((so thanks for all the prayers)) and I totally PRAISE GOD AND THANK GOD FOR THAT! While that was very encouraging for me; I know hes still mentally not well since he got drunk today and wont answer my calls (even when he txted me first)... So, yesterday the battle was won; but I need to continue praying for him because this is a war against the enemy for the life of my friend. He knows he needs God; hes told me so, but he believes in "fixing his life up before he gives his life to Christ" so He is resisting Gods call. So, plz, keep my friend (his name is Gabriel) in your prayers; because his mind needs to be changed, his heart healed, and his life restored. I faithfully look forward to the day when Ill be able to call him my brother in Christ because I know, in my spirit, God has great purpose for this guy and that he will bring many to Christ and thats why this battle is so hard. AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY!!! :)

Kelley Thank you SO MUCH guys! Im sorry I havent been checking my email lately, but your prayers definitely got through! I feel closer than EVER with my Lord Jesus! I watched the last 20 or so minutes of "The Passion of the Christ" and all I needed were those last 20 minutes and my life and relationship with God was changed! Family is getting better, and its so much better having time with God now that school is out! That place just drains me...Our class can be a tad immature. And loud. But I am doing SUPER well, as long as these storms dont blow our house away. Love you guys! <3

H3RTofGOD Hey Kelley! Hows it going? Hope things are getting better for you. We all go through times of feeling far from God, even after being a Christian for 20 years, I have those times...even now Im struggling with that, but God never ever is far from us! Im finding that when I step out there and do something for someone else it helps me too. Just like Im doing now...talking to someone who is dealing with the same thing I am...I encourage you to find someone you can encourage and see how it makes you feel closer to God. :) Hang in there..dont give up your friends just yet, but do get involved with new people that share your faith or at least share your interest in learning more about God. I found what I needed in an Alpha Course (www.AlphaUSA.org) and it was tons of fun plus made my faith stronger at the same time. Hope you find what you need...God is with you - by the way - that is the definition of Jesus name "God with us"...I love that! <3

H3RTofGOD Hi M, seeking a place of worship is good, its a sign that God is drawing your heart to be close to him and we are closest with him when we are part of something bigger than ourselves...thats what the body of believers, The Church, is supposed to be...one big heart of God. Find that place where you feel and hear it beating. Maybe your parents tired of being in a place where it wasnt beating or whatever their reason for not attending church, you go where God leads you. Look for a church or a place that runs the Alpha Course...its a great way to meet new people and find out what a church is like. check out www.alphausa.org for a course near you...youll love it, I promise! <3

My dads surgery went well, he has recovered quickly the past few days and wont be all better for about 3 months. Do please continue to pray for his salvation. My friend mike is a mess, knows it, knows why, thinks that he is saved but the bible says otherwise, please pray for him more also.

i have *two* major prayers i need lifted up by you my brothers and sisters... My dad is not saved and is going in for open heart surgery this Thursday. He mocks me daily for being christian and even lies to people about me basically blowing my witness. Please pray for the surgery, but more importantly that he and well really everybody else in my family would be saved by the grace of God. Also my friend Mike knows he needs Jesus, has been wishy washy for years about being christian. His dad is a christian, i have never met his dad so i dont know really what he believes but Mike has no other christian friends except 1 or 2 who are not really christian. Now he is losing his mind and getting depressed and saying that he hates life and wants Armageddon to come but knows he isnt saved. i have been witnessing to him for a few years and maybe he will finally break and surrender to God, please pray for his salvation and that i would not step out in the flesh but that i would be used by God in obedience.

Also please pray for my friends Megan and Ben. Megan is in need of salvation and a lot of emotional healing. Ben also needs more of Jesus in his life, Im not sure if he has prayed to receive Jesus into his heart. And also for my youth pastors nephew, he is about 4 or 5 years old and he has epilepsy. Also, little Gideon, needs healing from autism. One more thing :), my older brother just moved back in with us. Please pray for Gods favor over this situation. That my brother would be saved, and would realize he needs change in his life. Please agree with me in prayer for these things and for the healing of my other loved ones.
