Courtney I live in Virginia, and will attend college here as well. I moved here and left my family behind in Missouri. This year is a significant year for me to be able to find some way to drive all the way down there and be with my mother and grandfather before something happens. It means to the world to her and I just cant let her down. Shes really sick and isnt doing so well. Abby Tonight I didnt want to ask for something, but simply give a testimony. Today I got a 100 on my school exam, and its because of God. I have food and I have family and love and health and a roof over my head. And its because of God. I type this right now because of God. Praise be to the one who built the Earth! He will come here one day, and he will take us Home where we are meant to be! Strife moves like a snake through the world, but we just have to remember that this place is not our true home, and if we set our sights on the Lord above, he satisfies us more than anything, and we are able to go Home to him! Isnt He glorious? I asked for a deeper relationship, so he called me to stop spending so much time doing stupid pointless things on the computer and spend time with him! I asked for a house for my friend, and he has provided! I asked for a filling, and he gave me hunger to be filled! I asked for help in my music, and he gave me a chance to sing. I asked for something as simple as my brothers tooth to stop hurting, and as soon as I asked, his tooth felt fine! God is amazing!! He cares so much about us!! Praise the Lord, my friends. Lin TERMINAL CANCER PATIENT! Hello everyone, please pray for a young girl named Shay. she is only 15 years old and has been battling brain cancer. after all the treatments, the cancer returned in her brain and even grew in here spine. THE DOCTORS HAVE DECLARED HER TERMINAL and Im not sure how much longer she has. I know the family has tried every method...except this one natural cleansing diet that complete rid this other lady of her cancer, which was far worse than Shays in every way possible. this lady lived years after even though the doctors told her she wouldnt so I WANT YALL TO PRAY THAT SHAY AND HER FAMILY WILL HAVE OPEN EARS TO HEAR ME OUT TO TRY ONE LAST TIME. they are already very strong believers, but I just want to wear out every option.

Jeffrey I could use prayer for my relationship situation. I was married last June 18th, 2011, but there have been so many bumps in the road over this last year. My wife and I had a ceremony, but never ended up filing the paperwork for a marriage license, so technically in Gods eyes we were married, but legally in the state we I guess technically arent. My family has been a big part of the problems, in bringing negativity and speaking negativity into my mind and heart towards my "marriage." A month ago, my wife and I talked about if I could ever see us getting officially married, and instead of realizing Genesis 2:24 at the time of "leaving my family and cleaving to my wife to start my own family" I had given into fear and my parents wishes. I made a huge mistake I know, and Ive asked the Lord for forgiveness, as well as my wife, or I guess "ex" now, and God really hit me with a life changing reality the beginning of this month (June) by waking me up to realize my faults, and made me see that a year ago I made a commitment to my wife, and I realized that I still want to be with her and have a life with her, and let go completely of my parents/ family, since all I receive from them is negativity anyways.Currently, I have been giving my wife space, or trying to the past week and a half. I expressed to her how I felt about it all, and that God hit me with the fact that I wasnt the man or husband He desired me to be for my bride and that as my wife, I am to choose her over my family, and I wish I could have seen all this a year ago. Basically, Ive been praying for God to continue to do His work in me, and show me how to be the husband, Spiritual Leader, provider, protector, and fight for my marriage, but most importantly I have been praying for my wife (or ex, I dont know what youd call her, cause she doesnt consider us married...anyways), that the Lord would heal her heart from the damage Ive caused and that He would allow her to forgive me, as well as see the changes in my heart and life and that the changes in me are here to stay, and that she is my first priority (after God of course).I know, I messed up big time from the get go, and Ive poured out my heart to the Lord, and my wife as well, that I truly desire to be with her, and treat her with all the honor and respect she completely deserves!Its a crazy situation I know, I hope what I wrote makes sense.Thank you for any prayers of healing upon her that you give, and prayers for God to completely work and rebuild my wife and I into the marriage He desires us to have, that there will be forgiveness, trust again, love, and that we would ultimately glorify Him through all this, and hopefully through this mess, it will provide us maybe a testimony of some sort to share with others who struggle down the line.Anyways, thank you again for your prayers!God Bless, ~Jeff

Mel Hi Everyone, I would really appreciate prayer in all aspects of my life. I am currently 8 months pregnant and truly blessed to be having a baby boy. Please pray that all goes well during delivery and that he is born healthy, strong, and to serve God. I am also having problems with my husband, and I pray for guidance and support as well as for God to strengthen my marriage because at this point, I feel too broken to want to stay in it. Sadly, weve only been married 10 months. I would also appreciate prayer with finances; we are struggling horribly and cannot afford much. We are both college students and finances are killing us. Lastly, I would love prayer for my mom, who is the strongest woman I know. She is a 2 time breast cancer survivor and is currently fighting the pain of a pinched nerve in her cervical spine. Needy Servant My car has its hood chained down and duct taped so it wont slam against my window again. My car shuts off by itself somtimes or just wont start and I need to unchain/unduct tape and shake the battery (think its a connection somewhere) I go to school 60 miles each way 4 times a week ( when it starts again), and I deliver pizza as my job. I am looking for a good safe reliable used car, please pray God will lead me to the car I need. And since I feel it is important I must also mention I do not deserve His blessing a bit, pray that I will seek Him more diligently and serve Him whole heartedly, I need strength to obey.

Krystal I have had a crush on this guy for about 2 years now and he is around 11 years older than me. He is the worship director for our church and is has an amazing love for God. I thought he liked me, he use to talk to me and pick on me all the time. But now this new girl comes along and he pays alot more attention to her and kind of ignores me now. Im not sure what to do! Renee Hi Im very sure that Im addicted to pain pills. I had surgery to remove cancer back in March and was put on them after ward. Well I used them for pain and then I found myself wanting them even when I didnt have allot of pain. Well unfortunately I had to have another surgery beginning of May and put back on pain meds and I seem to not be able to function without them. Well today I took my last pill and Im quiting cold turkey and Im very afraid of the withdrawal. I dont want ot depend on pills anymore I want my health back. Please pray for me that I get through the withdrawal part fast and I can just deal with my problems without any substance to make it feel better.

Linda Please pray for my sick dog, she is not feeling well and I took her to the vet and she started some medications and seemed better for 1 day and now seems to be feeling sick again. She woke me up at 4am and continues having diarrhea and is uncomfortable and wont lay down for more than a few minutes. I am very worried about her she is an older dog but still acts like she is 5 until now. Please pray that she is healed and that she responds to medication and it is nothing serious. I love her and want her well again. I never had children so she is like a child to me, please pray for her health to be restored. Thank you.

And i would feel terrible if anything happened to her. When i hear her having a bad dream i wake her up and cuttle with her and tell her no bad dreams, you have good puppy dreams. When her stomache is upset i baby her and i dont let her play around i have her cuttle with me and tell her mama will make it feel better. Sharon I just recieved 2 jobs declines saying not this time. I just applied for another job today. Hummm...Getting nervous boys school started (expensive), car registrations and smog due this month too. Oh my found a big hole under my boys bathroom vanity lol. My son and I put something over it for now.I still have my campaign on Indiego go- Bay Area Single Mom needs help! No contributions there either yet.I have school costs,and need a roof hopefully by the winter.I was praying for a miracle there. I did get an invite to the honor society from my college due to my GPA...whoo hoo top 15% of my class. That was great news and looks great on my resume (I hope :^) Thanks to you all for my prayers. I know Gods listening. I am trying to remain upright and be optimistic and content where I am but its stressful sometimes and takes me off school focus.

I relocated to the Bay Area after my divorce due to the abuse inflicted to my adopted foster sons by my ex husband.I was shocked!!!!I packed up and moved nearly single handly it has been HARD! God has shown Himself over and over again. My boys have some special needs. We have settled in and there has been many challages stolen vehicle, housing, home repairs (bad floors/need a roof), numerous car repairs(only good local), in 1.5 years only have managed to get an on call job for 32.5 months (ouh, but I was blessed with it). I volunteer at church weekly but wanted something else progressive for my family. I went back to school and I am doing well. The debt scares me , as I already felt I was sinking. I havent many friends yet, and no really cloase one {:^( I dont drink, smoke, swear so my market is slight ha ha ha. I am scared of the life debt, and terrified of the school debt that has already began to accumulate . I am pretty self sufficient so it is quite humbling. I have decided to pray and also sign up for an Indiego go campaighn as a Bay area single mom that needs help! and I am praying I can raise some funds to cover my school tuition.. God knows what I need and he is aware of the campaign. Please pray about that, and a job. Peace with school the life stress derails me off focus for school studies. My son 13 has glucoma, cranio facial, and some anxiety/sensory issues. My 11 year old sensorty issues as well. They have overcome sooooo much and are soaring..family goal.Soaring is the best. Please pray about my boys especially the older one that he will ground himself in Christ... Thank you... Sharon Ru

Clarinda My prayer was answered far beyond what I had expected. My boyfriends mission was cancelled at the last minute and he is safe. I am extremely relieved and thankful to Jesus for his undeserving favour. Praise Jesus! AMEN

I will be heading to Costa Rica on a mission trip with my church on August 27th. I need prayer for Gods guidance and provision for me to be able to go with the team. We will be doing childrens ministries, youth outreach, Christian education, outreach and evangelism in the community. As well as building projects, help with church planting and ministering to native Costa Rican people in a small mountain village.

I am having a tough time now, cause in 3 days, I will be writing my University exams (on 6, 7, 8). I am in a big mess. The funny part is, I have studied almost many things. But when I saw all the people around me putting so much effort, studying till 2o clock at night, some waking at 3 in the morning, I feel like "I am not gonna make". My mind is telling me "you have not done any hard work. You dont deserve it. All that you have read, were for your class tests. How will you remember them now, even if you give a revision? Hard work only pays off". I am sure many of you have went through this. Dont have friends to encourage me in Christ and my parents are busy with their work. I have lost every bit of confidence in me, feel like giving up. I trust God. But my mind is saying "He wont help you cause you have not worked hard enough." I know that is a lie from the devil. I really need to overcome it. I was like a mad person today, crying for every 30mins. I developed peptic ulcer because of stress. My stomach almost developed perforations. This was a result of the tormenting thoughts i had in my mind for 3 weeks. I will be having Pathology and Microbiology on 6th, Pharmacology on 7th and Dental materials on 8th. I am in desperate need of your prayers, your comforting and encouraging words in Christ. Your words from experience and through Christ would be a treasure to me. jose Yes, the Lord has answered our Prayed, he spoke restoration over my career! In fact, a few weeks after this message was posted, I was sent to the minor leagues. At first it seemed pretty challenging, but "we," my wife and I remained Faithful to our trust and hope in our Lord and Savior, feeding off the support from your prayers, and knowledge of his plans for his saints...we had peace. In 10 games, I hit 7 home runs, and batted .393 and I have since been activated to the big leagues. But more excited than anything, the Lord held my hand every step of the way, to feel his presence everyday...NOTHING can compare to that!!!

This is really a prayer REQUEST, but is rather a praise. God has been filling my life with so many blessings lately. He gave me TWO jobs for the summer, both of them paid very well for first jobs. He also gave me opportunities to serve in the church as a musician on the adult worship team and as a speaker for the youth group. He brought me so much closer to the girls in my youth group. He brought out negative influences in my life and replaced them with some wonderful ladies I met at Hume. Hes helped me plan for my future in music and has given me a way to pursue my musical goals without having to choose between music and a "proper" major. Hes helped me finalize my decision for where Ill be attending school next year and has helped me connect with Christians in the area. Hes even shown me where I might be attending church while I go to school! Hes started work in our church to set up a college group and Hes brought in new college-age Christians in my life. He has absolutely showered me with so much love and so many blessings, and I am so SO thankful. To Him be ALL the glory and ALL the praise. <3

My younger brother is saved, and has been baptized, but my family, myself, and the church are worried about him. Hes very egotistical and doesnt show hardly any consideration for others. The problem is, he has made no move to consecration and is in fact straying away from God. Every time we are with the church singing or at the youth groups he looks like a zombie, he doesnt sing or pray or even smile, he just looks miserable, but as soon as we go home, hes just fine. I worry about his faith, hes sewing the wrong seeds and reaping nothing. I pray that the Lord would strengthen his faith and that my brother would allow the Lord to work in him. Lord bind the enemy. Maree Hi Kansas, you will be fine, God will put you where He needs you to be most, we may not like it sometimes but God will open doors for us and they will be where He needs us most so keep remembering that and keep on loving Him and dont lose your trust in Him, hang on to him tight and He will hang on to you even tighter. Brettney Well He has answered in a different way so far. They have since then moved back to a town closer to us. Back into her parents house. They will be starting school up here. She is looking for work in our town and is sure she will be staying. The kids have not yet gotten into counseling. She said they would be maybe starting in a couple weeks. Pray!. The kids seem to be happier here but they still have alot of woundedness that needs to dealt with. So hopefully (God willing) it will happen sooner than later. Please pray for my step kids and there mom. She has recently left her husband due to physical abuse. There is turmoil and drama all the time. I feel that they are depressed. The boys are 12 and the girl is almost 15. Both crucial ages. We ahve asked several times to let us have the kids for the summer so she can take sometime and focus. We have asked in a very non judgmental or defensiveness way. She seems to be dragging her feet and has admitted that she feels guilty. So please pray for clarity, guidance, strength, and courage for her to do what is best for the kids right now. Thank you so much for standing in the gap!

ulysses OH Yes im sorry I didnt let you all know and yes He has of course!! She had received the gifts and all is fine just I find out she is not graduating this year because she was but she has to get accepted in 2 last classes to do first so she wont graduate till next year but she still was grateful for it she wanted to send them back but I wanted her to keep and use it anyway because eventually I was gonna give her the gifts anyway but I just hope and pray that it made a difference and will help our friendship grow but I thank God and give him all glory and praise he is always good!!!

I thank everyone who was praying for me to get into college and get scholarships and stuff. I praise God that I was able to get in everywhere I applied (except one). I got scholarships from schools, and it was a lot of scholarship money... but it wasnt quite enough. Ill be staying home and going to community college next semester. I was really angry and upset about it, but Im doing better. It still sting and I still so wish I could be going away, but Im accepting Gods plans for me more and more every day. I ask that you help me pray that Ill be able to keep an open mind and to wait for signs from God to tell me to move. I pray that I wont let this change of plans destroy my relationship with Christ and that I will do the work He has planned for me here at home. I pray that nothing gets in my way (especially not myself) and that I will glorify Him through all I do. I pray that I can transfer to a Christian school next year (if it is Gods will) and that Ill be able to get my classes here at community. So far, Ive gotten into all my classes for Fall sem, but I worry about getting in for Spring. Please please, pray that nothing stands in the way of Gods plans and that I will always LISTEN and ACCEPT His plans for me. Its been tough, but Im still pushing forward.

Rachel Spoon I havent found that one best friend, but I am so SO much closer with the girls in my youth group. We went to Hume Lake last week and we had such a great time. We spent the last night just.. crying and hurting for each other and for the first time in my life, I understand what it really means to have sisters in Christ. I love these girls so much! Ive known some of them all my life, and Ive known some of them for just one week, but I love them all. It was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for the prayers! God bless.

Rachel Spoon Update: God has been moving in my life. Two of my old friends just decided that theyd cut me out of their lives today... I was pretty upset, but Im okay (or, Im getting to that point). They were not Godly influences anyway, and I have clashed with one because of my faith many times. I am also getting information on college Bible studies, so Ill hopefully be making more Christian friends soon! And Ive been spending a LOT of time with my Christian friends, and were finding lots of things other than church to talk about. Please keep praying for me, but Gods been working! Thanks, God bless.

Rachel Spoon Ive had a couple opportunities to share with the youth group lately. I get pretty nervous about sharing, but the youth group leaders and our youth pastor have been so encouraging. The kids in the youth group are also really encouraging and they generally like my lessons. Of course, I still have to work on presentation, as I get really nervous and my speech gets kinda choppy, but our youth leaders say not to worry that we all have to start somewhere. I still dont know if this is what I am supposed to be doing in the long run, but I know Im definitely going to enjoy work with the youth ministry whether Im a youth pastor or a group leader. TestedAndTried Lord~Give Rachel the guidance she needs to deliver your message whenever and to whomever needs to hear the gospel. It is my belief and Lord forgive me if I am wrong, that your messages come in all directions from all different types of sources so it should not matter that she is a woman. If she has your message to deliver and somebody does not want to hear it because she is a woman, it is their loss...Amen

My family is having some financial problems right now. My dads paycheck isnt that big, and my moms company is shutting down. Shes been working for a family company since before I was born, and shes nervous about finding a job elsewhere. Another company mentioned an open position for her, but theyre still looking for other candidates. Please pray for both my parents jobs, and that they wont be too stressed out over all this. Becky Thank you all for your prayers. She is still in bondage with this cult, but she was able to meet with her family a couple of weeks ago, so the communication is still flowing, which is wonderful. Continued prayers appreciated as this cult is getting larger and larger.
