Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. kim I would say, Yes, God has answered my request. In small, gradual steps forward. I was able to see my older daughter Emily and she stayed a night with me. No... they didnt all come home with me on the plane. But God doesnt usually work that way. Ive been praying for unity and I was able to meet and hug their dads new wife. Shes wonderful!! So again, that is God working in a way I wouldnt have thought of. My oldest son Trey has started to communicate with me through facebook. And I believe if I dont lose my peace in "the wait"... that again is answered prayer! So thank you to all who committed to pray!!! Im believing God to continue to advance forward on enemy ground and see victory! :)

I will be returning to Mi from Ca to be with them in a week and am believing God to complete the work He started. May Jesus be glorified and all bitterness be broken in Jesus name!

Ingrid Paola Im not sure if some of you are familiar with my current situation. but my partner left to iraq like about a month ago. Anyway, to make this story short, since he left i noticed that we werent communicating as much... so i was starting to get a bit worried... tso , the day i posted this prayer request i was feeling a bit overwhelemd with the fact that my bf wasnt calling me. But then after i posted this request i got a message from my boyfriend explaning what was bothering him and why he has been acting t so weird. I thank God for your prayers because God responded to me..he made me realize what the mistake i was making was...right now my bf n i are trying to work on moving past this...so keep us in prayer but thankfully at least this one prayer got answer quick...

Sheryl Kels seems to be doing much better mentally. Now we just have to pray that he gets his life straighten out so he can have some peace of mind. I have him and my daughter. I thank you with all my heart getting him straightened out. Hes still reading the Bible daily and is getting to understand and know how much and what God has shown Him that God does take care of him and Hes starting to figure out what God has done for him. Again thank you for the prayers that your people. I just pray that he will continue his Bible reading. Thank you again for your prayers. Ill keep asking Him what is your will today. Sheryl I havent received an answer yet, however, I want to thank you all so very much for your much needed prayers. I will continue to pray for your staff and for all the wonderfull things you have done. Not only do you have your fulfillments to do at your office, the missionary work you do and all the otheer things that are to numerous to write about, but you still have the intimate pleasure of doing so many other duties, which in itself is amazing how you manage it, but you also answer peoples questions. It gives me shivers down my spine just knowing that there stil are people with the Holy Spirit working in them and showing you all how to be witness for Christ Jesus. It had gotten me really depressed and by the time I was 13 I was wanting to commit suicide, but then I found Jesus and became a Christian. I wasnt depressed anymore and for a while I didnt do it but currently Im still struggling with it. Im turning 16 this summer and I just dont want this to be a part of my life anymore. I have tried countless times to stop, but have failed. But I know nothing is impossible with God, and Ive seen Him answer my prayers before so please pray for me. Thank you and God bless.

Mandi Rachel, first Im definitely going to pray for you and second I know where you are girl. I too struggle with this addiction. Stay constant in prayer and I know this sounds terribly hard but cut off any source that connects with it. If you havent seen the movie "Fire proof" I definitely recommend it, the main character deals with an addiction to pornography, but to earn his wifes trust he cuts all ties that fuel the fire of the addiction. Ask God for a "reset button" and, if you get an urge pray instead. It may take a couple "resets" but remember God is SO forgiving and with prayer, God will over come our addiction.

Deborah I signed the paperwork out of anger! He was suppose to attend counseling, but the church is completely booked up for "Marriage Counseling" for about one month or two. He seriously has psychiatric issues and holds me responsible to help him out of it! I feel like my hands are bounded and dont know what to do at this time! I feel useless and at a loss of words right now, so if you read this and think Im mumbling then its because Im in disbelief that I did this! Was this the right thing to do? Am I making a mistake? Or should I find out later in life that this was destined!?! Because hes Eastern Orthodox, his friends are telling him that because I didnt convert to Orthodoxism and we were orig married in a Roman Catholic Church then our marriage NEVER received its blessing from God. I told him NOT to listen to such rubbish! He wants me to convert, but I refuse! I was given a 2nd chance and chose to walk with the Lord! Ive NEVER looked back!

He believes hell be able to answer unanswered questions and clear his head if we go thru the divorce and continue living under same roof. He states "Its just a piece of paper! No big deal! Divorced people live together in sin ALL the time!" Im upset of course and mentioned its not according to what God would want us to do. He becomes quiet whenever I mention the bible or God! He has a different faith thats why! He refuses counseling from everyone, he said he can counsel himself (!?!) or he can confide with his bf on certain issues. I know we have some issues to workout! Julie God, I pray that Deborah can find peace. God please show her humility, quiteness, and patience. Lord I ask that she will start with learning to trust in you GOD, that you can change the circumstances. Lord, I ask that you work with Deborahs husband, that since he has a ear to your word, but is refusing to be guided by you. Lord please place your hands on this couple, open the lines of communication. Lord I ask that your word is to be uttered softly, not to bring negativity upon your name, but to be gently and sweet. Deborah so wants to live up to your words, she desires to be used by you, and please just streghten her, open doors for her, so she can see you standing there.

Hes 46 yrs young and was always healthy. He cut his leg and it never healed properly. Months later the injured leg turned almost black (loss of circulation) and also diagnosed with jaundice due to injury. Hes also an alcoholic! Which is the reason for the kidney and liver failures.

Deborah Johns STILL very bitter and was recently in a fatal car accident! The "roll bar" in his Mustang GT is what saved his life! He escaped with a couple of injuries! My sister: Desiree told him that the Lord wasnt thru with him yet! He was told by his ex wife and former fiance that hes the "Anti-Christ"! I STILL and will continue to pray for his soul!

They have never been able to have a healthy relationship with anyone. They have never been married but both are fathers to beautiful children (one has a son and the other has a daughter and a son). They are both alcoholics and have both been in court ordered treatment (unsuccessful). I and their step dad are active members of our church and the twins family are mostly walking hand in hand with Jesus. Many of our family,church members and friends pray for them and have for years. It is so hard not to be/get discouraged. Please lift them and their children to the Lord and myself for courage and peace. Thank you.

BUT I KNOW IT WILL TAKE A LOT OF HARD WORK AND DEDICATION. PRAY FOR ME PLEASE! I ALSO NEED TO FIND ANOTHER JOB TO BE ABLE TO GO TO SCHOOL. THATS THE TOUGH PART BECAUSE I DO HAVE A GREAT JOB AND BENEFITS AND THAT MEANS I WILL HAVE TO GIVE IT UP. i started college about two weeks ago, and i dont think there is one God fearing person there. Ive been praying that God will use my time for him, and ive had a few times where people asked me questions about God, i feel really good about bringing some people to christ, but i need a lot of prayer and help from God to soften there hearts, thanks, God bless

Hannah can be all things with the help of Jesus Im sure theyre there. We just have to look, believe that God gave you somebody to walk with you to help with all this. I blieve in you an Im praying deeply for things to get better.

I just got laughed at in my face, by someone who was once close to me, i asked him for forgiveness and i said i forgave him for what he had done to me, we have both done hurt to each other, but i seem to be the one who was wrong and he is not to blame for anything. although he hurt me and used me i forgive him and i still love him. hes not a believer, so when he heres me speak of God, he thinks im crazy. i know im doing the right thing by asking for forgiveness and forgiving him, it makes me a bit sad to know that it is funny to him, but i also gotta remember that he does not know God as i do. I ask you to pray for this brother, may he find Jesus in his life before it is to late. May he find it in his heart to forgive me as well.
