Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. kirk wow... finally i guess this battle is over. i think it was the Lord that reminded me that i dont have to fight this battle of temptation. Jesus fought it for me and won. i remembered i am already free and the bondage i was under was all lies. dont fall for the devils lies. none of us are trapped in sin. you are already free. you dont have to fight to get out, just pray and remember that this battle has been won by Jesus when he took our place.

DR KAYKAY Kuldip, having had bi=polarity for over 40 yrs, I can certainly understand depression, I am on a new experimental drug from the chief neuropsychologist in GA - have been on it 10 days and it is really turning my worries and self=hate into acceptance and confidence...I am praying for you

Sybil Oh Praise God for his Mercy and goodness.Was in church and finally went forward to the elders for prayer.This woman prayed for me and it was as if she knew me,through the holy spirit she asked if something had happened,that I felt ashamed of,worried about unnecassary guilt.Yes.I lost my son in Iraq.I didnt pray enough,I was selfish ect.She said God told me to STOP! These are the weapons of the advesary!I felt like a weight had been lifted!A great huge weight!Lesson learned..when the holy spirit promts you to go forward...RUN!!!Run toward God!Run toward help! I get depressed, angry, i cry, and I am so sick of it and i just wish i could be done with this pain already... I feel ugly and worthless and unwanted and school isnt helping. im a sophomore at SDSU and i walk from class to class all by myself day-to-day and i feel so alone, like the only person who sees or hears or loves me is God...and hes all i can hold onto right now. <3

Jemma I know how difficult this is.. went through a similar situation myself and i was just amazed at how easy it actually was to move on. God was strengthening me each day and it did not hurt anymore. Its true that memories remain and true they still bring about some saddness but remember God is on your side always..in trial or pain, he is the God who provides. Put your trust in the Lord and you will be refreshed with His wonderful love. Ill pray for you darling. For courage, faith, peace and that you may have the wisdom to see Gods plans for you. Remember you are precious for the Lord. See he sent so many people to encourage you.

caitlin My grandpa has ast away. He came here with a mission to help my mom and well he did it so i think that once he made sure my mom was ok he was ready to go home. So sadly (but happy that he is no longer in pain) he has ast way. I ust wish we had more time with him. I think everyone for there prayers! they were greatly appreciated.

Tim My request has not yet been answered, but, I am still be patient as I know that a delay is not a denile from God, I will continue trusting in God and his word and being obedient. I have also just graduated from an intense Bible School with so much more knowledge,truth and understanding about the Bible (Gods Word) and the more I am believing in God and the nicer I treat my spouse the meaner she is becoming, of course I know its not her, its the enemy trying to continue in destroying marriages, relationships and tearing families apart, these things are predicted in the last days, brother will rise against brother and nation against nation. Lord, "I put my faith and trust in you as I know you hate divorce for you are the one who invented the wonderful covenant of marriage"...For those of you who do not know what is going on, here it is in a nutshell: My wife filed for divorce and it is scheduled to be finalized in the courts on Jan 10th, 2010. My wife is currently carrying our child as well, we are separated at this time(per her request) 4 states and 800 miles apart. I love and miss my wife and child and wanna be with them always, but, she literally hates me, her anger and unforgiveness is keeping her in bondage...however, Scripture tells us in Matthew 19:26 that "All things are possible with God", to me this indicates that he can save this marriage. I am praying for continued healing for my marriage, wife and myself and for softening of hearts and for scales to fall off eyes...Marriage is under such a huge attack from the enemy in these final days...My name is Tim and wifes name is Roxanne. Jiji I wish for the best for you and your wife. Do you know why she filed the divorce?I know divorce is a terrible thing (including for the children- my parents have been divorced since i was 1), so i do wish that everything works out for the best. Ill pray for yuo.

Aggie Hello brothers and sisters in Christ. Well, just wanted to update you about my prayer request. I havent gotten a job yet but i still have faith in God for the best is always yet to come. I have however applied for a course in ministry in church but i got no finances. I feel i should focus on making a change in someones life and i feel its through this ministry. Aggie Praise the living God brothers and sisters. After a period of over 6months after university and 2 months after graduation, i got a job and the most interesting thing about it is that am working with Christians who love the Lord. Patience and prayer, faith and endurance is all i had and the Lord has heard my cry. Let glory and honor go back to Him and may Him strengthen me as i start my career. Thank you all for your prayers and thank Gd for Him unending grace and mercy..I love you Jesus, I give it all back to you...

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a year, He is in Afganistan right now and hes about to come home which I am very happy about but I am faced with the descion to move in with him which will help us both financially but morally I know its wrong since we are not married. Kari My daughter is in her 4th week of treatment for her eating disorder.She has surrendered to the Lord and is healing. Its a long road of recovery, but with Christ at the center I know she will be victorious. Thank you so much for your prayers for my precious child.

I am 17 years old and Ive been diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety and diabetes. Ive done a lot of stpid things one of which resulted to me landing in a coma for about a week, another which resulted in my attempted suicide. Right now I am going through a really hard time and I am finding it hard not to turn back to my suicidal tendencies, and I really dont want to because I know that it would kill the people I care about, but I am just finding it soo hard not to give in to the urges. Thomas A woman I have never even met before or talked to on the phone, sent me a check to get my car back on the road, and a friend bought some car parts off of me and i was able to pay my insurance. All of the help I got was from Christian people and was told they felt the need to do these things. THANK YOU JESUS! =)

I need prayer for my financial situation. Struggling hard, I ma 23 years old married with 2 children and am sinking fast. My job does not pay very well and I am supporting a total of 4 people on one paycheck. My car insurance is about to lapse, my car just got a lien on the title for personal property tax so i cant drive it and if the insurance goes then we cant drive at all which is not an option because my oldest son who is 5 is recovering from cancer, thank God but has steady appts for check ups to make sure he does not relapse. I JUST NEED A LOT OF PRAYER! thank you.

Ingrid Paola Although the one of the hardest things to do is let go of pride. I know God has been working in my favor to help me let go of my pride. Lil by lil i see myself fade away for GOd...to really just do his will n not mine.

Billy Thank you all for for your prayers! The Lord took Steve home Monday, I found out Tuesday. I was asked to play at his funeral this Saturday. I know his family will appreciate your prayers. They have a very difficult road ahead. Steve was only 47y/o! His trust was in Christ, so I have no more concerns about Steves welfare. God bless all of you.

My good friend Steve was recently T-boned by another vehicle traveling ~60 mph. Hes currently in ICU and appears to be dying. He is a believer but I not sure about his wife Robin and 2 daughters, Emily, and Elizabeth (who was hurt in the accident but not so severely). Pray for Steve, painless passing, but mostly for Elizabeth who is in denial and the rest of the family, especially Robin who will suffer the greatest sense of loss.

jane Hi Everyone! I just wanted to PRAISE GOD!!! and let all of you know that our prayers have been answered! I just received my mamogram results, and everything came out just fine! PRAISE GOD!!! PRAISE GOD!!! I started to cry when the doctors office told me. I broke down and cried because I know that I know that I know, that our God hears our prayers! He loves us! Thank you all so much for praying!!! It REALLY ministered to me in a prfound way. And to get those emails that "Someone is praying for you" is amazing!

tina My son has been going to church consistantly now for several months. He still has a lot of issues he needs to take care of (the past will follow), but he really had a faith that he is going to be protected and God is watching him. Thank you Jesus!
