Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. Was rather funny, last night me and a friend of mine prayed about it, and then this morning I was thinking about it, and I thought maybe my friend emailed. But I thought that was just me wanting her to have emailed. Well I check my email and there was her email!! Then I realized it was God telling me to check my email haha.. anyway, am very thankful :) Am glad nothing is wrong and there was no need for worry :) Thanks again for praying :D Praise God! :D

But I dont have her new phone number so I cant call. I dont know how to get in contact with her friends or family right now, Im just stuck wondering whats happened. Im just kinda nervous, I hope its something really silly and not something serious like shes in the hospital and I have no way of knowing. Anyway, if you could please pray that I receive news of whats going on. This is just the most bizarre thing that has ever happened between us, were extremely close friends so not hearing from her like this is just... odd... please pray for her safety and well-being. I just hope and pray its something silly and nothing serious!! Thanks!

I am scheduled to start college this coming Summer. I am really nervous because I was suppose to start in the Fall of last year but I dropped my classes due to mental health issues. I am scared that I will have to drop the classes this Summer due to the same reasons. I am also struggling with family issues. My father and myself do not get along very well for mulitpule reasons and we are constantly fighting. I just want every thing to be some what decent between us. I ask that people pray for the families of my friends Cody and Bekka and a few others, who I would rather not mention names, who recently took their lives. I know that their families and all of us friends are suffering greatly with the loss of them. They meant a lot to all of us, and we grieve heavily. I ask that we pray that we all may grieve properly and that God gives us the strength to cope with these situations. Last but not least I want to strengthen my relationship with God. I have struggled of and on these last several years with what to believe due to not being in very good situations. Thank You All,Maddalin.

When I walked out of the abortion clinic 36 yrs ago with him in my belly I prayed that God would bless him and take care of both of us. God has. I ask those of you to pray for her to find peace and be comforted, as with the rest of my family. My sister is having a hard time as well, whenever we talk about Dad she just shuts herself in and starts to get irritable. Like me, shes probably holding it all in a suppressing it. I pray for both her and I that we come to grips with this instead of ignoring it and supressing it. Thank you so much you guys! Youre all amazing!

Nicole Thank you all for your prayers! God has definitely been working in both myself and my boyfriend.
God has given my boyfriend a job where he can reach out to teenagers in a Christian organization. I think having the opportunity to put his gifts and talents to work through helping others is making him feel more purposeful and valued. His attitude is also changing and he is more attentive to when he begins to get depressed or frustrated and is more willing to fight the lies. He also is learning the importance of being loving even when he doesnt feel like it.

Sandy Art has fully recovered and returned to work. Hes driving a car and riding a motorcycle. It was touch and go at times, but for God. I continue to hope that Art and his wife, Cathy, will come to know the Lord and be saved. Thanks for your prayers!!!

Zombie Pickles He answered it, but not the best way. The cancer in his spine is goneish, but he still has a lot in his brain. He had a seizure but they thought it was a stroke. But today, he cant talk. His brain can function properly but he is incapible of talking. Pray for his wife and his three young kids. Pray that Gods will is done in the situation.

O.0 Thanks for praying! Forgot to say what happened that Friday. Well, I didnt get the job because they wanted someone with more experience. Im so discouraged right now. I know the Lord is working in my life and I am grateful. I guess Im having a hard time with being paitient. Ive also been depressed. I, over the years have trusted people I shouldnt have with pretty much all I have. Unfortunately by me doing that, I have affected my life and lively hood but my childrens also. Ive known from a young age to not even trust family,but for some reason i feel the need to give chances to people. I would want that for myself, so I figure to do that for others. My judgement hasnt been the best, eventhough Ive tried. I try to love as Jesus wants us too. Now technically, I and my children are homeless. I lost so much, not just things but my childrens trust. Thanks to God, a lady from church took us in, but she couldnt take all of us. I have 5 children, the oldest are with friends. My parents and grandparents are all passed on. The childrens fathers arent close or able or willing to do anything. They either have other children and wife, or one of them is passed on. There was no one for me to run to. All I have is Jesus! Being a single mom is hard. I didnt think it would be easy but the outside world and all the hurt has so affected how my children and I are with one another. Im feeling weak. I need prayer for our finances so I can get a home for the children and I. I need to rebuild. Id like to be married again, but this time for ever in Christ. I know of a good christian man, who loves the Lord and shares that love with others. This man is my friend, his name is Steven. Lauren I am now giting my ged and a collage is letting me take a class untill I have my ged so I am finily moving on with egucation agin. Also I have manie great friends now at saviour marchel arts and I sumtimes git to work with the little children and help them with there karate. Im working hard to beocome a good teacher and trying to lurn all I can. I havent told the my teachers yet that I want to be a karate teacher beocuse I want to git my black belt first. Also I feal like the reaseon that I dont have sumone that I love yet right now is becouse mabie Im not reddie for a relationship. Ill wait and trust God to send sumone thats right for me at the right time. Thanks eveyone for all your prayers. God has rilly helped me so mutch.

I am now taking a papatory test to help me git my ged. I am extremly worried about if I will be able to git a good job. I am all reddie 20. My dreem right now is to become a karatie teacher. Skyler Hey guys, thanks so much for all your prayer. Yesterday, God moved in such a big way by leading my entire campus into a huge revival. Our one hour long chapel service turned into seven and a half ours of worship and testimonies. Probably the coolest thing Ive seen yet this year here. Thanks again everyone.

Vera My sister, Andi came through the surgery fine. When I spoke to her this evening (Wed. Feb 16) she was in good spirits and even getting some of her sense of humor back. Test results will be about a week from now. But she believs in Gods love, and we uphold her as already healed. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! God is SO good!

i have two request, i have a brother in the lord i met last summer at a mens retreat funny enough all 6 of us placed together at random did not want to go, but it was the best thing and we were all glad the God brought us together. anyways Robert has asked me to keep his wife Julissa in prayer because she is having problems with her lungs and heart and there son Chris who went in for surgery on hi tonsils and adenoids. the other request is a fellow co-worker had asked to lift his baby grandson who was born in November had some fluid in his lungs and is having trouble breathing. i thanks you so much and God bless you all.

Ingrid Paola Sometimes we have to let GO , to let GOd do... Ive learn that when we try to CHANGE people around or things, situations around.....WE ruin them even more when we dont know how to handle them......but when we leave "the situation" in GoDS hands...he works on our behalf n he makes things PERFECT...... God has restored my relationship with avas dad. We are still separated but we get along better now, n we are starting to understand each other...... our love has grown in a different level...n Im waiting on the LORD to change his heart so we can be together again......i believe that the main reason why our relationship started to have problems the moment we both forgot about GOD... but Im leaving this relationship in the hands of God n im just going to LET GOd do his perfect will in our Lives..in the beg. it was hard to let go, because i was afraid to lose this guy,i kinda pushed him away..... n well..... i was trying to fix it myself ..thinking i could make things right..but the moment i started praying n i started just surrendering to GOd....things started changing..& im very thankful to God..... for what he;s done in our lives...... n thank u all that have been praying for me!!
