Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

My wife was hired at our local gas station....less than 1/8th a mile away and my brother and I were both hired for a call center as at home agents! God is great! She just got a really neat job as a technical support specialist and technical writer, she has really be enjoying the job and i am so happy that you guys helped me pray for her. Michael Well, I decided that the best thing to do was to step away from that band. But that was a good thing because in the past few days, God has placed a few more band opportunities in my life. One of the them is on a worship team, with an outreach group as well. And another is building my own group of Christian musicians. I feel so blessed! Thank you all for all your prayers! God is great!

The other guy, however, is bossy and tells everybody what to play. Additionally, the house we play in is in serious needing of cleaning- almost to the point of being a health hazard. So my prayer is about what I should do. I want to confront them about the band dynamics and the state of the house. However, I dont want to appear judgmental. I want to approach them from a place of love, in order to make things better. Please pray that God gives me the courage and the right words to approach this situation. Thank you all!

God seems to leave a remnant of His people EVERYWHERE....its just more difficult to find them in some places lol. Rachel Thank you for your prayers. Diana and Ben broke up yesterday. I really think its for the best. I dont want either one of them to stop coming to youth group because of the break-up so please pray that there could be peace between them. Ethan hasnt come to church in a while so I dont know how he is doing, please keep praying for him. And please keep praying for Megan, she has a verbally abusive dad and sometimes that takes its toll on her. Please pray for me to continue to grow close to God, and let His love change me. Ok, so I havent been on here in a while but I need prayer for strength, guidance, and freedom from fear. Strength against temptation. Guidance for my future. And freedom from the fear of ridicule; to speak up and step out in faith. Please also pray for my friends Diana and Ben. Theyre in a relationship but they just keep bickering back and forth and there is a lot of drama, and I dont want to see one of them do or say something they regret. Needy Servant Sorry it took so long to update, i went on vacation. Well i didnt test into the advanced class as i had hoped, but God has provided the money for me to take the summer class. So He put me where He wants me and that is fine with me, thank you all for praying. All praise to the King of Kings.

i am going to major in American Sign Language and i have an assessment coming up this monday, i am praying to test out of ASL Intermediate 2 and into ASL Advanced 1. i really cant afford to take intermediate one because of cost, and if i must take that then i have to wait to enroll in the program which could cost me a spot in the program and i would need to wait another year to enroll because they only accept in the fall semester. Prayer is much needed and definitely appreciated, im going to need God to take the assessment for me.

I am so glad your prayers have been answered! Keep praying! Keep believing and be determined to never give up on your marriage and family! God will bring you through. His will is for your family to be united. The enemy would like to steal kill and destroy but, The Lord has come to give you LIFE and to the fullest!!! So, you and your wife dont allow the enemy in, pray, read the Word together and both develop your walk with God. A three fold cord (with Jesus in the middle) is not easily broken. I am also praying for my marriage and my husband to come back to the Lord and then back to his family. Please pray with me for I am sure your Faith has increased! God bless you and your family.

The wife and I are ging to be meeting tomorrow night to discuss schedules for our children and time with each of us individually (joint custody). I setup a schedule that should do well for both of our work schedules and with the least amount of impact on the children. I also wanted to talk about the next steps toward what she wants to do. I dont want to throw out there, "when are you going to file?", questions but I want to guage where she is at and what she wants to do. I am so dead to this marriage right now, I really just want to move on. I feel so badly that I feel this way, that this is not the plan God layed out from the beginning. I cant make her try to work it out and I dont want to be hard and calused, but I dont want to be walked on. This is such a grace needed situation. I dont want to say the wrong things and I dont want to be pushing toward divorce either. I am having such a hard time right now, my heart is so heavy. I ask for guidance and words from the Holy Spirit, I need to be everything the Lord needs me to be and I barely have a grasp on that for tomorrow night. Just need a little bit of everything, grace, words, healing, boldness, wisdom, strength, love. Thank you all who have been following me, it has and continues to be a rough road.

We need prayers for jobs and finances to open up. My husband has been working so hard here and we had a situation with his work and they are taking some of his paychecks. We know that this is God and He will provide I am just asking that you pray and believe with us and pray for everything to open up and to give us peace.

Sarah32 Georgia is an awesome place to live.:) I lived there for the majority of my life, and will probably forever consider the peach state as home. Im so sorry youre having difficulties with the moving process though. That stinks.:-/ My prayer for you----Lord, I thank you for the words You still speak to us today. I pray that WOG and her family will still be sensitive to Your voice as you show them where to go next. You promise that if we acknowledge you in every aspect of our lives, You will direct our paths. That is a promise. Lord, I am claiming that promise over WOGs life and her family. I pray that if Georgia is really where they need to be, that you will knock down all of the hurdles standing in their way. I pray that You, my good Lord, would provide the right jobs and financial provisions for this family. And Father, I pray that your peace will reside over this lovely family so they can rest and breath calmly. My former co-worker asked for prayers for her step father: Steve Currence whos in need of a "liver transplant"! He doesnt have insurance which means hes not applicable for a transplant. However, he does have property to sell and is hoping to use that money for the transplant. Hes given a maximum of 1 yr left to live if not less.

Deborah Well we are still married and still living under the same roof! However, the feelings have gotten worse! He still refuses counseling and suggested I return back to counseling because he feels I need it more than he does since Im the one who wants the divorce. All Im asking from you my brothers and sisters is to pray for me! I have no job (Graduated as a phlebotomist last yr ) cuz everyone wants experience!! Were going to continue living in our house til we can actually sell it. All Ive been doing is crying and praying! I dont want to end up having a nervous breakdown. He still refuses counseling and continues to preach to me how his "religion" is thee oldest and original to turn to (E. Orthodox). He asked me this "If you could find happiness elsewhere, would you take it?" I said "Yes!" and thats what Im going to do. Hes a good man with a good heart, but we lack everything in between! Sheri Well, there are times when she is on the right track then there are others when I can still see the grip that darkness has on her life. We are still struggling with her and would appreciate the continued prayer for her. I know 14 is a difficult age and she just seems to grow more and more negative by the day. michael You are coming at this the wrong way. You pray and expect everything to be perfect. Do you think that God is teaching you something by putting you through struggle or do you think he is going to give everything to you on dinner platter. Come on man, I know I should encourage you but you need to stop expected God to do everything for you. Pick up your cross, your sacrifises and he will meet you.

Rachel Spoon Please dont give up Anthony! It may seem like its getting worse, but maybe youre looking in the wrong direction. I had some really rough times before, and I wanted God to solve things my way. I wouldnt let him solve it His way, and that made things get worse. God would never just leave you stranded there. He will work in His timing and in His way. Just try to keep faith that He knows what Hes doing. Please, please dont give up. I;m still praying for you every night.

Alex Courtney is back safe and sound in my arms. Thank you all for your prayers for her. She is greatly appreciative for those prayers and she managed to have a half way decent time except for the food and sleep. Although she is in pain :( ....Thank you all again for your support n prayers. She had some hardships in there but she is out and safe.

Yesterday, I took my wife to jail for a sentence she obtained from a mistake she made months ago. The loneliness is eating me alive. I am trying to give it all to God and I have in a way but the human part of me wants to just lay in bed and wither away. Please pray for her safety, she wont be gone long she has four more days. And every day after the next get slower and slower. It seems like a lifetime. I need God to move for us both. For her safety and for my sanity. Now I know how God must have felt when he decided to make man. Loneliness is so silent and cold. Its amazing to think there was even a time when God was lonely himself. He made man in His image, I guess I answered my own question just now when I started to ask how are we supposed to deal with it if He created man and we cant create anything.. But I felt something with me and as soon as I felt it I thought, we are supposed to lean on Him because He is always with us. It makes me feel some better but it is gonna take a lot of prayer and for God to move for this horrible feeling to pass. Thank you all for praying for me and PLEASE continue to pray for my Courtney

Sarah32 Praying Alex.<3 Know that it is in these desperate times that we truly grow close to God. I could write out my own examples here, but, well, it would fill the page! In some ways, God loves when you have a moment of crisis- it gives us a chance to really throw our hands up in the air and say, "You know God, I cannot do this myself. Im too desperate! You are the One who is going to have to do the fighting through me." Guess what? He will. You do not have to rely on yourself to make it through, Alex. God wants to work THROUGH you and give you His own fighting spirit and His own character qualities. Remember- apart from Him, you can do NOTHING. (John 15:5) Also to what you said- God was never alone, even without man. He never needed us for companionship, He WANTED us! (I think that makes it all the better.:) He always had fellowship with well, as strange as it sounds, Himself! The Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit has always been united with one another in a harmonious relationship. Remember Alex, if God has that relational spirit intrinsically, He wants it for you too--to be in unity with Him. :):) Praying for Courtney too, as you know.<3

God help me. I got off work at 4 and apparently visiting hours ended at 3! :( She needed me and I wasnt there because of work :""(... I want to die. I need prayer. I feel like I have let her down again because of work... she prob thinks I dont love her or I forgot about her... Please pray for me, pray for my baby that she will be ok that she is safe.. I have alcohol in my possession.... not for a bad purpose it was for a celebration for when she returned we would share a glass of wine over the dinner i was going to cook her.... but now i just want to drink it all.... i have snapped im gone mentally ...im barely able to ask for prayer... please God help me :(

Angela I am working with a company that promotes new inventions and, right now it all seems to be going well...I ask the Lord that this company is reliable and honest in promoting and marketing my idea.
