Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

Robin Thank you everyone for your prayers for my son Jerry. He actually will be serving a 3-4 year sentence in prison. However, I know this is Gods will for him, it is the answer he needs to grow as a person and as a man with the support of a lot of different programs. He really needs alcohol and substance abuse treatment, time away from home and "friends" and a whole lot of prayer. If nothing else I pray he finds JESUS! AMEN! Robin

So far they have not, its been over a month. I understand they have 60 days to decide. Please pray that the Lord will have mercy on him and touch his life and free him of alcohol addiction, make him a new person and be a wonderful father to his 6 year old daughter. In Jesus name. Amen

Sarah32 My ((((((HUGS))))))) go out to you, Robin!! Im praying for strength for you as her caregiver and I am praying your daughter will be completely healed from this horrible disease!! I pray that the myelin sheaths that were damaged will begin to regenerate by Christs hand, and I pray that she will have a miraculous healing like those in the Gospel. We all know Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He did healing then, He can bring a healing NOW!!! Last fall, the doctors found a nodule in my husbands lung. Over the last several months they have watched it to be sure it didnt grow. It hadnt - until a week ago last Friday. He had a pet scan that revealed two nodes and the nodule. The doctors and radiologist say this could be an infection or cancer. We are going to see the surgeon on Tuesday, with the hopes that they will take this out quickly and reveal something Non-Dangerous. My husband and I have two young children, whom I homeschool and he travels most of the time for work. We are hoping this is NOT cancer. We have very little family support and some of our friends have already backed away - unable to deal with it. They say that we should not admit that we are worried and claim healing. We believe in Healing and have witnessed it, but that is the Lords will. We have prayed for healing for my husband, of course. But I dont believe because we share our fears that we will "jinx" it. I thank you so much for your prayers. We have felt a sense of peace over the last several days with all the prayers. May the Lord richly bless each and everyone of you beyond measure.

Hannah My uncle just died this morning around 4 am. In a way, its the best because now hes in Heaven rejoicing with Jesus and loved ones. His funeral is this Sunday. We are glad hes in Heaven and no longer suffering. His earthly ordeal is over. Thanks for your prayers.

My great uncle Mike that I previously wrote about has passed away. He passed this morning around 4 am. He suffered from dementia and other like diseases/sicknesses. We know he is with Jesus in Heaven, but I ask that you guys pray for our family, especially his widow, Dana, his kids, Tracy, Eric, and Wendy, and his sister (my grandma), Connie. Of course, there are others who have been affected and who were close to him, but in my opinion, these people have been hit the hardest. I know that his son, Eric, was in Alaska at the time and was preparing to drive down to Michigan where he was staying in a hospital (he was already in the hospital and the doctors were not optimistic, so we knew this was coming). Eric did not get there in time and was not able to see his dad before he passed. Also, his ex-wife, who is also suffering from some old-age diseases, had tried to come and see him in the hospital before he died. She was planning on seeing him tomorrow. Uncle Mike lived a turbulent life, and at times he contemplated suicide. He is saved, we all know it, and it makes us very happy to know that he is in a place where this no pain or suffering, only happiness and joy. Thank you for all your prayers!
My great uncle Mike that I previously wrote about has passed away. He passed this morning around 4 am. He suffered from dementia and other like diseases/sicknesses. We know he is with Jesus in Heaven, but I ask that you guys pray for our family, especially his widow, Dana, his kids, Tracy, Eric, and Wendy, and his sister (my grandma), Connie. Of course, there are others who have been affected and who were close to him, but in my opinion, these people have been hit the hardest. She is really smart, and I have no doubt she will get accepted into all the schools she applied to. Please pray she makes the right decision in which school to attend and that when she does start college in the fall, she will continue in the Way of Christ. Also pray that she is able to find good Christian friends at whatever school she chooses to go to.

He denies God and doesnt admit to the presense of Christ; however, I believe that he once knew of Christ. Its confusing and I really dont know what to do. I want to rely on Christ completly, but I dont that relationship that I want with God. denny I have begun to climb out the darkness the enemy has kept me drowning in. I now know there is nothing worse than to live and be consumed by fear and brokeness. I have been guided through this nightmare by the quiet whispers of the SPIRIT...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your prayers , my special friends. As a special bonus I am about to start an experimental medication that could be a game changer for me...please pray that GOD has something special in store for me physically. My marriage is in shambles and my mother in law who is not saved has stage 3 breast cancer. Then I have to sit in front of people every Sunday and lead worship while my heart is being ripped out of my chest. My eyes are fixed on God , but I just dont know how much longer I can run this race.

The Macks I pray father that you will watch over denny as so many trials are following them, i pray father for your salvation to continually feel there heart and feel there needs, father i pray that in everything you will put peace and contentment in the hearts. Psalms 91 is a good prayer as well to read. when you are facing many different things all at once. Amen

jessica well my prayer hasnt exactly been answered because its an on going thing. My husband has been sober for a little over 60 days now, thats the easy part its when it gets close to the 90 day mark that things start getting rough. so far he has been ordered by the courts to attend counseling for his addiction. Please continue to pray that he is able to stay sober. also he has a court date coming up where i guess the judge will decide if they want to give him jail time for his offences. thank you so much for all your prayers for us.
on an up note our business have been very successful since it started warming up here. God has blessed us (we have a heating and cooling business)

My husband is an acloholic, most of the time he does pretty well staying sober. He goes about 90 days without a drink then i dont know what happens he just takes off and gets drunk, doesnt answer his phone or return text messages. He just did this a week ago so now hes on day 9 of sobriety. im gettin to the point that im not sure i want to continue this relationship. I feel like there is no hope iin him. He says its always been like this but he never did this before we were married or maybe he did and i just didnt know cause we didnt live together. He has a relationship with Christ but he says he doesnt want to burden Him with his issues cause he burdens enough people already. I have no clue what to do at this point cause the way he makes it seem is it will be exactly the same every 90 days. Thank you for your prayers.God Bless,Jess

Kristen Chris got saved about a week ago, and let me tell you it is clearly evident when God changes hearts. Since Chris got saved, he has done a 180 degree turn around. He is going on 3 weeks sober, and is on fire for God. Hes constantly searching for God, for its his desire to get as close as possible to him. Furthermore, hes been actively attending church and stopping people on the street to make sure that they know Christ. God is good. :)

Sarah32 Lord I thank you for Kristens heart. Shes concerned over her friend and really wanting the best for him- spiritually and mentally. Lord I pray that You would speak the Truth into Chris life. Let him hear Your words louder than the scary things hes believing as real. You are healer of all Lord, of not only the body but the mind and spirit. Lord, I pray that You, good Lord, would heal Chris mind. If medication needs to be taken, then I pray that You would guide Chris to the right medication and the right help for him. We are putting Chris into Your hands, good Lord and trusting You to do good things with his life!

Kristen Okay, I know its been a while....but its been a long process. Chriss grandmother passed away last week....which occurred just 4 days after Chris accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

However, as I know that she is not saved, I am also requesting that she and her spouse would come to know you before she passes. Also, please be in prayed for Chris, as he is still not saved, however, it is evident that God is completing a work in him by the fact that he is requesting prayer at this time. Please pray that he will continue to allow God to work in his life, and that he will be willing to allow God to break down his mental barriers and walls, and open his eyes to the fact that God not only exists, but that He loves him, and is patiently waiting, yet actively desiring for Chris to respond to Him. Pray that he will find the strength to stop smoking and putting harmful substances into his body before it is too late; that he will be comfortable with who he is, who God made him. You dont know how much I appreciate it <3 Yesterday I got my period, and although it was about a week early, that was one of the possible effects of taking the Plan B pills. There was no penetration, but Ive called Planned Parenthood and 2nd Floor and both said theres still a chance. I took the emergency contraception pill just now, but Im still so afraid that I could have already gotten pregnant so the pills would be useless right now. Im only 17 and Im so regretful of what happened and Im so stressed out and afraid to the point where I can barely function properly anymore.
