Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. It feels as though the walls are closing in on her as the bills keep coming in and the mortgage still needing to be paid with little money to pay for them. She is trying to sell her house now which will remove the debt. My heart aches every time I hear how she feels about the situation, it feels to her like there is no way out. The house has been on the market for nearly a month with no one interested...Please pray that God shines a light to the right buyer and that it is sold for the right price! He has interviewed for a position close to our home that is all he every hoped for: great hours so he can continue ministry at our church, close to home, able to work from home, great benefits, limited travel, and requiring the skills he possesses. He had his fourth interview last week and still has not heard back. When he called Wednesday, they still had not made a decision. I am soliciting the prayers of this board that he get this job offer. We really need the finances. Thanks be to God that He has kept us to this point, but we are at wits end and starting to fall in debt with the rent, car note, utilities, etc being paid with just my limited income. Any prayers you have for us will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)

Hes finally starting to get his life turned around, Im proud of him. Please pray for Gods will and favor in this job interview. Doreen Nick i pray that GOD gives you guidence in your life all areas of your life. But keep in mind that the devil knows scripture as well and he will guide you as well and have you believe that this is guidence is comming from GOD I pray that you can detect the diffence of who is really sending you guidence. REMEMBER GOD wont give you guience that will harm you or anymone else most of all GOD himself so use common sence and go with what your heart <3 feels. diane I would like to thank you all for praying for these two young people. It really means a lot to me since it is so hard to stay Christ centered (in a relationship) in today`s culture. I believe that God is answering these prayers daily. He knows their worries, and struggles They sometimes struggle with miscommunication but try hard. In particular, my daughter sometimes struggles with the situation that her boyfriend is often busy with other occupations (music, concerts which he loves) and she sometimes feels like second priority). I am sure that he doesn`t try to do this..it is just a communication issue. God knows them each one and, with your prayers, will help them. Thank you and blessings to you all

Doreen My husband still has not found a job yet but the unemployment has been extendid till december. So i thank GOD for that, but please still keep us in prayer please.

judi God still has not answered my prayer. He is still working on my husband and having him turn his eyes back towards me. My husband knows what he has, but he is afraid of letting go of his control and just allowing our relationship to move forward. My husband is stuck in the past and that is his issue. God is making me currently ask for respect from my husband. Asking for this respect means I cant contact him or go near him and it is very difficult. All I need is for him to quit texting his female friends when I am visiting and he cant seem to do that.

Joel Lord I thank you for the obedient heart that you have given Judi in her trying to restore her marriage. I can only image the struggles she must be facing and I pray that she would not give in to bitterness which can poison the soul. I pray that she would be a light to her husband and an example of what a woman of God should be. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." Lord I pray that Judi would weather this hardship and all the temptations that come with it. I pray that you would reunite her marriage and that you would bring her husband to the light we have in you. I pray that you would heal Judis heart from the wounds that her husband has inflicted on her and I pray that you would be her rock in times of trouble. One of my favorite settings to dwell worship is at True Worship Church in Brooklyn, New York for Midnight Prayer which is scheduled at 12am between friday and saturday, and tonight was such an amazing experience that even over an hour after it was over, the prophet that was there was STILL speaking. The few people that were there were listening to him saying a whole bunch of things INCLUDING (in paraphrase) "When I tell someone Im a Christian, or minister, or praise and worship leader, they can ask "Are you Religous" I just say no. . if they ask "Do you go to church" I say yes. . . they can tell me theres no point in going to church or tell me I shouldnt go to church, I tell them "Do you drive a car? yeah, dont take it to the gas station for the next 3 days" See what they say. Theyll tell me "Oh I have to bring it to the gas station" I ask why? what happens to the car when it doesnt? Itll break DOWN. I go to church, because (in metaphorically speaking) Im not pushing no car" . . . . . As awesome as this word was, that last part is where my prayer request comes in. while the few of us were there, I decided that it would be wise of me to open my mouth and say "Wait a minute, wha? you just said youre not pushing no car, that means youre pushing some car" (in reference to a double negative sentence) I find stuff like that to be confusing, but for me to say that was VERY UNWISE, and Im kinda not over the fact that I said that. after I said that, it was a bit of laughter, then everyone finally left and went home, but I know, and the people there know that me saying that was a huge mistake. PLEASE pray for me that I can get over that, and for the people that they can rather remember the message that they received more than that stupid comment I made. Interceding in your criticisms is of God. a public accusation is of satan.

Needy Servant Sorry it took so long for me to update, but i am always late. i am still struggling, but at least its more of a struggle and less like me giving in. i am reading more, and trying to get right. I spent a few long months away from this website, and I have been hurting. I have been slacking, no, honestly I have not been reading at all for those months. I have been quenching the spirit and giving into temptation. All kinds of stupid stuff has been my "excuse" to sin and shy away from God. I need Him, I want Him back, I want to flee from temptation, I want to kill sin, I want to be real with Him, I want to draw near to Him, but my flesh has been getting stronger and stronger the last few months while my spirit was being malnourished and beaten. I want to truly repent, I want to hate my sin again, I want to love Jesus more than ABSOLUTELY everything again, please pray for me, please. I hate where I am and feel so weak and far behind. I dont have any fellowship, I cant meet with the guys from church much anymore because of work and school, and the few people in my life I have contact with arent christian, or they are just as callous towards God as I have ben lately. Thank you so much, I need this.

My grandfather has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and he has never picked up a cigarette in his life. There is a mass on his lung and it cannot be removed with radiation. He is going to have surgery some time around Christmas and I am afraid he may pass away. My mom is planning on going to see him and be there during the surgery, but I want everything to go smoothly. He is very old and has lived a great life, but I could not bear to have my mom lose her last living parent. I pray that his surgery is a success and that he makes a healthy recovery.

Deborah Nick continues to see his psychiatrist, pediatrician, and school counselor. He participates in theater at school and thats what keeps him active. He still suffers, but his family hasnt given up hope! Thank you all for the prayers!

Courtney I am so sorry about this situation! :( Know that so many prayers are with this family. This boy needs to know that he is loved by so many people, and especially by the Lord.. I used to be suicidal, and its very hard to get over so many things.. But the Lord is the only one who could save me, and He did.. It was a long, hard road, and this is the same for every person who is suicidal.. Keep an eye on him and let him know that he is loved despite his knowledge of a broken heart. God bless you all.

Tasha Shes still touch and go now and again. Theyre probably going to have to do a C-section with the baby to make sure shes born safely. Shes bigger than they thought and my sisters rather tiny. Theyre afraid if they cant get the baby to flip that theyll have to do the C-section because they dont want to do a breach baby, my sister has seizures now and again and theyre taking every possible precaution to make sure she and the baby are safe. Though her gallbladder is now giving her problems, they may have to take that out as well. Praying for healing over her and protection of my soon to be niece.

They were able to stop it but shes on bed rest until the baby arrives. This is extremely hard for her to do since shes so used to doing something all the time. Doreen I pray that this youg man returns to GOD where he belongs, the devil is going to turn the heat up per say on this young man telling him that GOD wont take him back cause he left GOD. Jody keep praying for him and dont stop telling him he can turn back to GOD just as he is, GOD isnt just interested in the people of wealth or high standards. Alyssa Faith Mark. Rep Went to the doctor and she told me that its just allergies. I also got a prescription for a nasal spray that is supposed to help my congestion and sinus pressure, to help relieve inflammation. She told me Ill probably have to keep taking allergy medicine through the whole allergy season which means through winter and spring. Lets be praying that this medication helps and makes me feel better. But I do have to say everyday Im feeling a little better. I feel better than I did 2 or 3 days ago. So keep on praying that this medication helps me.
