Kaitlin My mother and my stepfather both smoke cigarettes. They are in their 50s, and it is strongly affecting their health. They are constantly coughing. I have asked them to quit on multiple occasions, but it is not enough for me to ask them. I need Gods help to get through to them that they do not need cigarettes. samuel Respected Bro, My Name is Samuel Mullick, from Berhampur, Ganjam, Orissa, from last 4 to 5 months my health is not well i am suffering from pain in the body like pain in back, due to stones in my 2 kidneys and it is paining so much while urinating the same way my wife Suchitra Mullick is also suffering from Gastric and Diabetes and also she undergone through a major operation like Ectopic Pregnancy. Thirst Ok, so this is a long story but well worth the time. Its also all completely true, which is incredible now that I recount it, but then, God is incredible. I have a friend named Ben, whos a soldier for the British army, a veteran by any account, very experienced at the young age of 27. Hes traveled all over the world in his duties, including Saudi Arabia (and has used his experience to be a huge help for my future career of being a missionary). While in Saudi Arabia he met one of the princesses there, and the two fell in love. However, due to she being a Saudi Arabian princess and him being a British soldier, they would have both died if her father didnt approve, and he didnt. So they broke it off to keep each other safe. This all happened a couple years ago. Today, Ben told me he recently found out she was getting engaged in two weeks, through her sister e-mailing him. The gist of it was "Nobody likes the guy, and shes still in love with you (Ben)." So Ben is taking a bit of leave to make his case to the princesss father before the engagement happens. Im asking that you pray for him to succeed and that God wills for the two of them being together, and of course that they both come to know Christ through this relationship. I fear for Ben if God does not will this to succeed, so I also ask that should this not happen, Ben finds peace without committing suicide, and that his heart is healed. I care about this man a lot, hes one of my closest friends and I appreciate any prayer support you guys can give, for this incredibly true story. Finally, I ask simply that the Lords will be done, as He knows better than any of us. Thank you guys

Senzy My fiance and I have been engaged for more than two years now. At first he lost his job and couldnt save for the bride price. We prayed and waited until he got a job earlier this year but the job doesnt pay enough to even save a little. He can only pay for transport and rent and it keeps getting cut. Last week his room was broken into his belongings were stolen. Its like all the negative things are happening to him, to us now and it steals our joy and hope of making it to marriage.what we are asking for is for him to get a good job that pays him well enough to pay lobola and to get married soon.

D A lot of my friends, including my best friend, are really into a blasphemous webcomic called Homestuck. The comic as based around zodiacs, witchcraft, and characters becoming gods, among many other evil themes. My friends dress up and mimic the demonic-in-appearance characters. I really need them to see the true light of the Lord and that the comic is evil and stop their obsession with it. This comic has caused quite a few fights between my friends and I, and among them, and these fights need to end.

Andreas I would like if you could help me to pray for one of my best friends. She is pretty broken right now since her boyfriend broke up with her today. She says that she dont want to wake up tomorrow and face the fact that its over so shell probably not even go to sleep tonight (its 0.15 AM over here in Sweden right now). Ive been praying for her the last couple of days since she told me that it was a risk that it would end up this way. Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. That Erik, my oldest son, may overcome the issues with his eyesight, that the kerataconis will be healed by Jesus and there will be no need for surgery. Sue I lost my 18 yr old son in a car crash on Jan. 14, 2012. This tragedy has brought me closer to God as He is the source of all my strength and has given me peace beyond ALL my understanding. I wish I could say the same for my husband and older son. They are both very angry with God. I want them to come to church with me and find the peace and comfort Ive been blessed with, but both of them refuse. I pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will look to Him for help in this very difficult time. b n My husband was falsely accused of something at work which led to him being fired. I dont even know where to begin on handling this. Sharon Please pray for truth to show itself for the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.Obama is the modern day "Moloch" seemingly no regard for the life of the unborn. He had also opposed a bill allowing failed abortion survivors to be saved. He has expanded Planned Parenthood on the taxpayers dime. He is trying to take away the tax benefits for churches and religious affiliated agencies/schools. He has turned his back/us againest Israel. We are to stand with Israel as per our God. Revelation appears to be unfolding. We need to stand with God and his Word. We his people need to see that His Word, His family, our Family is heard. Stand for the unborn, those born alive and left for dead, for Israel. We need a President whose platform represents Gods platform. There has been no transparency as promised (1.7 million tax dollars spent in legal representation (DOJ) to keep personal documents out of the publics veiwing), the poor numbers dont lie either. Lets hold off the end times-vote. A one world government is on its way (some rights in the hands of the UN), we are monitored, and as we know should we not acept the mark of the beast there will be no goods.Obama had flags made; it was an american flag only his face was placed where the stars were, and the red lines were fainter and broken. He is portraying himself as a God, we have only one. Please pray for truth from the canidates, and the horribly biased media, which seems to be controlled by the President. Stand for our brothers and sisters, our God, the unborn, Israel, the poor, the Christian schools/churches losing and have lost their tax benefits. Its just so very scary.

Lucy My daughter is expecting her first baby in January and her husband just got accepted to medical school. They will have to move from NJ to Virginia by next July. Right now he is the only one working and finances are very tight. Moving means being away from friends and family. With no savings to speak of this is causing my daughter a lot of stress. God has been faithful to our family and I just ask for prayer for them to continue to believe that God will supply all their needs and that my daughter can have peace in her heart about this.

Rachel I had dated this guy for a year, but I made the difficult decision to end it last week. When I did he was fine at first but then he started calling me non-stop even though I didnt answer. It got to the point where I had to block his number. But before I did he started texting me saying that he was going to kill himself.because he didnt want to live without me, basically threatening to take his life if I didnt get back together with him. Im concerned that he might actually try to harm himself. Im racked with guilt right now because I feel bad for causing him pain and making him go through this. Sharon I just recieved 2 jobs declines saying not this time. I just applied for another job today. Hummm...Getting nervous boys school started (expensive), car registrations and smog due this month too. Oh my found a big hole under my boys bathroom vanity lol. My son and I put something over it for now.I still have my campaign on Indiego go- Bay Area Single Mom needs help! No contributions there either yet.I have school costs,and need a roof hopefully by the winter.I was praying for a miracle there. I did get an invite to the honor society from my college due to my GPA...whoo hoo top 15% of my class. That was great news and looks great on my resume (I hope :^) Thanks to you all for my prayers. I know Gods listening. I am trying to remain upright and be optimistic and content where I am but its stressful sometimes and takes me off school focus.

I relocated to the Bay Area after my divorce due to the abuse inflicted to my adopted foster sons by my ex husband.I was shocked!!!!I packed up and moved nearly single handly it has been HARD! God has shown Himself over and over again. My boys have some special needs. We have settled in and there has been many challages stolen vehicle, housing, home repairs (bad floors/need a roof), numerous car repairs(only good local), in 1.5 years only have managed to get an on call job for 32.5 months (ouh, but I was blessed with it). I volunteer at church weekly but wanted something else progressive for my family. I went back to school and I am doing well. The debt scares me , as I already felt I was sinking. I havent many friends yet, and no really cloase one {:^( I dont drink, smoke, swear so my market is slight ha ha ha. I am scared of the life debt, and terrified of the school debt that has already began to accumulate . I am pretty self sufficient so it is quite humbling. I have decided to pray and also sign up for an Indiego go campaighn as a Bay area single mom that needs help! and I am praying I can raise some funds to cover my school tuition.. God knows what I need and he is aware of the campaign. Please pray about that, and a job. Peace with school the life stress derails me off focus for school studies. My son 13 has glucoma, cranio facial, and some anxiety/sensory issues. My 11 year old sensorty issues as well. They have overcome sooooo much and are soaring..family goal.Soaring is the best. Clarinda My prayer was answered far beyond what I had expected. My boyfriends mission was cancelled at the last minute and he is safe. I am extremely relieved and thankful to Jesus for his undeserving favour. Praise Jesus! AMEN

I will be heading to Costa Rica on a mission trip with my church on August 27th. I need prayer for Gods guidance and provision for me to be able to go with the team. We will be doing childrens ministries, youth outreach, Christian education, outreach and evangelism in the community. As well as building projects, help with church planting and ministering to native Costa Rican people in a small mountain village.

I am having a tough time now, cause in 3 days, I will be writing my University exams (on 6, 7, 8). I am in a big mess. The funny part is, I have studied almost many things. But when I saw all the people around me putting so much effort, studying till 2o clock at night, some waking at 3 in the morning, I feel like "I am not gonna make". My mind is telling me "you have not done any hard work. You dont deserve it. All that you have read, were for your class tests. How will you remember them now, even if you give a revision? Hard work only pays off". I am sure many of you have went through this. Dont have friends to encourage me in Christ and my parents are busy with their work. I have lost every bit of confidence in me, feel like giving up. I trust God. But my mind is saying "He wont help you cause you have not worked hard enough." I know that is a lie from the devil. I really need to overcome it. I was like a mad person today, crying for every 30mins. I developed peptic ulcer because of stress. My stomach almost developed perforations. This was a result of the tormenting thoughts i had in my mind for 3 weeks. I will be having Pathology and Microbiology on 6th, Pharmacology on 7th and Dental materials on 8th. I am in desperate need of your prayers, your comforting and encouraging words in Christ. Your words from experience and through Christ would be a treasure to me. This is the only place where i can find people who pray for others even though they are of different language, race, nation. Please remember me in your prayers. I am having a tough time now, cause in 3 days, I will be writing my University exams (on 6, 7, 8). I am in a big mess. The funny part is, I have studied almost many things. But when I saw all the people around me putting so much effort, studying till 2o clock at night, some waking at 3 in the morning, I feel like "I am not gonna make". My mind is telling me "you have not done any hard work. You dont deserve it. All that you have read, were for your class tests. How will you remember them now, even if you give a revision? Hard work only pays off". I am sure many of you have went through this. Dont have friends to encourage me in Christ and my parents are busy with their work. I have lost every bit of confidence in me, feel like giving up. I trust God. But my mind is saying "He wont help you cause you have not worked hard enough." I know that is a lie from the devil. I really need to overcome it. I was like a mad person today, crying for every 30mins. I developed peptic ulcer because of stress. My stomach almost developed perforations. This was a result of the tormenting thoughts i had in my mind for 3 weeks. I will be having Pathology and Microbiology on 6th, Pharmacology on 7th and Dental materials on 8th. I am in desperate need of your prayers, your comforting and encouraging words in Christ. Your words from experience and through Christ would be a treasure to me. This is the only place where i can find people who pray for others even though they are of different language, race, nation. Please remember me in your prayers. jose Yes, the Lord has answered our Prayed, he spoke restoration over my career! In fact, a few weeks after this message was posted, I was sent to the minor leagues. At first it seemed pretty challenging, but "we," my wife and I remained Faithful to our trust and hope in our Lord and Savior, feeding off the support from your prayers, and knowledge of his plans for his saints...we had peace. In 10 games, I hit 7 home runs, and batted .393 and I have since been activated to the big leagues. But more excited than anything, the Lord held my hand every step of the way, to feel his presence everyday...NOTHING can compare to that!!!

This is really a prayer REQUEST, but is rather a praise. God has been filling my life with so many blessings lately. He gave me TWO jobs for the summer, both of them paid very well for first jobs. He also gave me opportunities to serve in the church as a musician on the adult worship team and as a speaker for the youth group. He brought me so much closer to the girls in my youth group. He brought out negative influences in my life and replaced them with some wonderful ladies I met at Hume. Hes helped me plan for my future in music and has given me a way to pursue my musical goals without having to choose between music and a "proper" major. Hes helped me finalize my decision for where Ill be attending school next year and has helped me connect with Christians in the area. Hes even shown me where I might be attending church while I go to school! Hes started work in our church to set up a college group and Hes brought in new college-age Christians in my life. He has absolutely showered me with so much love and so many blessings, and I am so SO thankful. To Him be ALL the glory and ALL the praise. <3

My younger brother is saved, and has been baptized, but my family, myself, and the church are worried about him. Hes very egotistical and doesnt show hardly any consideration for others. The problem is, he has made no move to consecration and is in fact straying away from God. Every time we are with the church singing or at the youth groups he looks like a zombie, he doesnt sing or pray or even smile, he just looks miserable, but as soon as we go home, hes just fine. I worry about his faith, hes sewing the wrong seeds and reaping nothing. I pray that the Lord would strengthen his faith and that my brother would allow the Lord to work in him. Lord bind the enemy. Maree Hi Kansas, you will be fine, God will put you where He needs you to be most, we may not like it sometimes but God will open doors for us and they will be where He needs us most so keep remembering that and keep on loving Him and dont lose your trust in Him, hang on to him tight and He will hang on to you even tighter. Brettney Well He has answered in a different way so far. They have since then moved back to a town closer to us. Back into her parents house. They will be starting school up here. She is looking for work in our town and is sure she will be staying. The kids have not yet gotten into counseling. She said they would be maybe starting in a couple weeks. Pray!. The kids seem to be happier here but they still have alot of woundedness that needs to dealt with. So hopefully (God willing) it will happen sooner than later. ulysses OH Yes im sorry I didnt let you all know and yes He has of course!! She had received the gifts and all is fine just I find out she is not graduating this year because she was but she has to get accepted in 2 last classes to do first so she wont graduate till next year but she still was grateful for it she wanted to send them back but I wanted her to keep and use it anyway because eventually I was gonna give her the gifts anyway but I just hope and pray that it made a difference and will help our friendship grow but I thank God and give him all glory and praise he is always good!!!

I got scholarships from schools, and it was a lot of scholarship money... but it wasnt quite enough. Ill be staying home and going to community college next semester. I was really angry and upset about it, but Im doing better. It still sting and I still so wish I could be going away, but Im accepting Gods plans for me more and more every day. I ask that you help me pray that Ill be able to keep an open mind and to wait for signs from God to tell me to move. I pray that I wont let this change of plans destroy my relationship with Christ and that I will do the work He has planned for me here at home. I pray that nothing gets in my way (especially not myself) and that I will glorify Him through all I do. I pray that I can transfer to a Christian school next year (if it is Gods will) and that Ill be able to get my classes here at community. Rachel Spoon I havent found that one best friend, but I am so SO much closer with the girls in my youth group. We went to Hume Lake last week and we had such a great time. We spent the last night just.. crying and hurting for each other and for the first time in my life, I understand what it really means to have sisters in Christ. I love these girls so much! Rachel Spoon Update: God has been moving in my life. Two of my old friends just decided that theyd cut me out of their lives today... I was pretty upset, but Im okay (or, Im getting to that point). They were not Godly influences anyway, and I have clashed with one because of my faith many times. I am also getting information on college Bible studies, so Ill hopefully be making more Christian friends soon! And Ive been spending a LOT of time with my Christian friends, and were finding lots of things other than church to talk about. Please keep praying for me, but Gods been working! Thanks, God bless.

Rachel Spoon Ive had a couple opportunities to share with the youth group lately. I get pretty nervous about sharing, but the youth group leaders and our youth pastor have been so encouraging. The kids in the youth group are also really encouraging and they generally like my lessons. Of course, I still have to work on presentation, as I get really nervous and my speech gets kinda choppy, but our youth leaders say not to worry that we all have to start somewhere. I still dont know if this is what I am supposed to be doing in the long run, but I know Im definitely going to enjoy work with the youth ministry whether Im a youth pastor or a group leader. TestedAndTried Lord~Give Rachel the guidance she needs to deliver your message whenever and to whomever needs to hear the gospel. It is my belief and Lord forgive me if I am wrong, that your messages come in all directions from all different types of sources so it should not matter that she is a woman. If she has your message to deliver and somebody does not want to hear it because she is a woman, it is their loss...Amen

My family is having some financial problems right now. My dads paycheck isnt that big, and my moms company is shutting down. Shes been working for a family company since before I was born, and shes nervous about finding a job elsewhere. Becky Thank you all for your prayers. She is still in bondage with this cult, but she was able to meet with her family a couple of weeks ago, so the communication is still flowing, which is wonderful. Continued prayers appreciated as this cult is getting larger and larger.
