Kaitlin My mother and my stepfather both smoke cigarettes. They are in their 50s, and it is strongly affecting their health. They are constantly coughing. I have asked them to quit on multiple occasions, but it is not enough for me to ask them. I need Gods help to get through to them that they do not need cigarettes. Thirst Ok, so this is a long story but well worth the time. Its also all completely true, which is incredible now that I recount it, but then, God is incredible. I have a friend named Ben, whos a soldier for the British army, a veteran by any account, very experienced at the young age of 27. Hes traveled all over the world in his duties, including Saudi Arabia (and has used his experience to be a huge help for my future career of being a missionary). While in Saudi Arabia he met one of the princesses there, and the two fell in love. However, due to she being a Saudi Arabian princess and him being a British soldier, they would have both died if her father didnt approve, and he didnt. So they broke it off to keep each other safe. This all happened a couple years ago. Today, Ben told me he recently found out she was getting engaged in two weeks, through her sister e-mailing him. The gist of it was "Nobody likes the guy, and shes still in love with you (Ben)." So Ben is taking a bit of leave to make his case to the princesss father before the engagement happens. Im asking that you pray for him to succeed and that God wills for the two of them being together, and of course that they both come to know Christ through this relationship. I fear for Ben if God does not will this to succeed, so I also ask that should this not happen, Ben finds peace without committing suicide, and that his heart is healed. I care about this man a lot, hes one of my closest friends and I appreciate any prayer support you guys can give, for this incredibly true story. Finally, I ask simply that the Lords will be done, as He knows better than any of us. Thank you guys

Senzy My fiance and I have been engaged for more than two years now. At first he lost his job and couldnt save for the bride price. We prayed and waited until he got a job earlier this year but the job doesnt pay enough to even save a little. He can only pay for transport and rent and it keeps getting cut. Last week his room was broken into his belongings were stolen. Its like all the negative things are happening to him, to us now and it steals our joy and hope of making it to marriage.what we are asking for is for him to get a good job that pays him well enough to pay lobola and to get married soon.

D A lot of my friends, including my best friend, are really into a blasphemous webcomic called Homestuck. The comic as based around zodiacs, witchcraft, and characters becoming gods, among many other evil themes. My friends dress up and mimic the demonic-in-appearance characters. I really need them to see the true light of the Lord and that the comic is evil and stop their obsession with it. This comic has caused quite a few fights between my friends and I, and among them, and these fights need to end.

Andreas I would like if you could help me to pray for one of my best friends. She is pretty broken right now since her boyfriend broke up with her today. She says that she dont want to wake up tomorrow and face the fact that its over so shell probably not even go to sleep tonight (its 0.15 AM over here in Sweden right now). Ive been praying for her the last couple of days since she told me that it was a risk that it would end up this way. Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. Sue I lost my 18 yr old son in a car crash on Jan. 14, 2012. This tragedy has brought me closer to God as He is the source of all my strength and has given me peace beyond ALL my understanding. I wish I could say the same for my husband and older son. They are both very angry with God. I want them to come to church with me and find the peace and comfort Ive been blessed with, but both of them refuse. I pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will look to Him for help in this very difficult time. Sharon Please pray for truth to show itself for the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.Obama is the modern day "Moloch" seemingly no regard for the life of the unborn. He had also opposed a bill allowing failed abortion survivors to be saved. He has expanded Planned Parenthood on the taxpayers dime. He is trying to take away the tax benefits for churches and religious affiliated agencies/schools. He has turned his back/us againest Israel. We are to stand with Israel as per our God. Stand for the unborn, those born alive and left for dead, for Israel. We need a President whose platform represents Gods platform. There has been no transparency as promised (1.7 million tax dollars spent in legal representation (DOJ) to keep personal documents out of the publics veiwing), the poor numbers dont lie either. Lets hold off the end times-vote. A one world government is on its way (some rights in the hands of the UN), we are monitored, and as we know should we not acept the mark of the beast there will be no goods.Obama had flags made; it was an american flag only his face was placed where the stars were, and the red lines were fainter and broken. He is portraying himself as a God, we have only one. Please pray for truth from the canidates, and the horribly biased media, which seems to be controlled by the President. Stand for our brothers and sisters, our God, the unborn, Israel, the poor, the Christian schools/churches losing and have lost their tax benefits. Its just so very scary.

Lucy My daughter is expecting her first baby in January and her husband just got accepted to medical school. They will have to move from NJ to Virginia by next July. Right now he is the only one working and finances are very tight. Moving means being away from friends and family. With no savings to speak of this is causing my daughter a lot of stress. God has been faithful to our family and I just ask for prayer for them to continue to believe that God will supply all their needs and that my daughter can have peace in her heart about this.

Rachel I had dated this guy for a year, but I made the difficult decision to end it last week. When I did he was fine at first but then he started calling me non-stop even though I didnt answer. It got to the point where I had to block his number. But before I did he started texting me saying that he was going to kill himself.because he didnt want to live without me, basically threatening to take his life if I didnt get back together with him. Im concerned that he might actually try to harm himself. Im racked with guilt right now because I feel bad for causing him pain and making him go through this. Bonnie Thank you all for your prayers. My brother in love, Bill, did not need emergency surgery and was released from the hospital with prescriptions for antibiotics. He is still experiencing some pain, but has a follow up appointment with the doctor tomorrow. Please continue to pray that this condition has been nipped in the bud and he will be able to treat it without surgery.

Carol Your brother belongs to Jesus! Satan- you are not allowed near this precious child of God. You have NO power near this boy- he belongs to Jesus. Satan- you will never, ever have this boy- so leave now. You are never allowed to return to this child- you are completely powerless in the presence of our mighty, everlasting, victorious Savior, Jesus Christ. Deborah Proverbs 18:1 Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment. (ESV) I think about this scripture whenever I feel the need to want to isolate myself and God has been helping understand why He created us to need one another. As I start to understand all of that I am coming to understand how to love people with the love of God and not in my own strength. Catherine has "mysteriously" turned around and was released from ICU today and is looking to be able to go home Thursday:) Still fighting the cancer but getting stronger each day, they say she shouldnt be here at all. I know she is and will continue to bring glory to the Lord through this. Thank you all for your hearts and devotion and love:)

She under went treatment while she was pregnant (she gave birth to a super healthy baby girl February this year, praise the Lord!) Just 2 months ago she had surgery where they thought they removed it all. Just last night she went into the ER with pain and they found out it is back in her thighs and lungs. She is waiting on results to come in to start a new treatment but today was told if she does not receive some form of treatment soon she may only have a couple of weeks. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. They love the Lord with all their hearts and are putting their hope in Him:) Thank you!

This is an update to the request from almost a week ago...Alright everyone...On Wednesday, Catherines BRAF results came back negative, even though the same test was taken in Houston and was positive, so they are thinking there was some kind of mix up with the slides, and they are going to do the test again. In the meantime, they will have to do an intense round of chemo to hurry up and help shrink or slow down the growing tumors on her lungs, until they can start the new treatment. As of Thursday morning, the drs informed Catherine that the severe pain in her upper thigh/hip area are due to 2 small, but growing tumors in her pelvic area. She had a cough attack that morning and coughed up more bloody tissue. She started her new chemo treatment at 3 pm Thursday and will stay at Harris SW, until at least Monday. We are still asking for prayers, for peace, comfort, and reduction of the tumors with the help of the chemo. She will have another round of chemo in 3 weeks. Hopefully after that they will be able to do the treatment originally planned. Until then, we keep on fighting! She is a trooper ;) Keep up the prayers, and thank you to all of you for already praying and helping out in whatever way you can. Much appreciated! As I am copy and pasting this for here I just got word they are moving her into ICU. There is fluid around her lungs and possibly her heart..the Drs said its her bodys way of shutting down. This is an update to the request from almost a week ago...Alright everyone...On Wednesday, Catherines BRAF results came back negative, even though the same test was taken in Houston and was positive, so they are thinking there was some kind of mix up with the slides, and they are going to do the test again. In the meantime, they will have to do an intense round of chemo to hurry up and help shrink or slow down the growing tumors on her lungs, until they can start the new treatment. As of Thursday morning, the drs informed Catherine that the severe pain in her upper thigh/hip area are due to 2 small, but growing tumors in her pelvic area. She had a cough attack that morning and coughed up more bloody tissue. She started her new chemo treatment at 3 pm Thursday and will stay at Harris SW, until at least Monday. We are still asking for prayers, for peace, comfort, and reduction of the tumors with the help of the chemo. She will have another round of chemo in 3 weeks. Hopefully after that they will be able to do the treatment originally planned. Until then, we keep on fighting! She is a trooper ;) Keep up the prayers, and thank you to all of you for already praying and helping out in whatever way you can. Much appreciated! As I am copy and pasting this for here I just got word they are moving her into ICU. There is fluid around her lungs and possibly her heart..the Drs said its her bodys way of shutting down. Shanna Hi everyone! I am happy to report that our God is awesome!!! Catherine has "mysteriously" turned around and was released from ICU today and is looking to be able to go home Thursday:) Still fighting the cancer but getting stronger each day, they say she shouldnt be here at all. I know she is and will continue to bring glory to the Lord through this. Thank you all for your hearts and devotion and love:)

Keith No final answer yet, but here is an update: Her dad passed the paternity test. it looks like there are two roads, 1. accept his terms for visitation w/o joint custody or 2. take it to court. My in laws have expressed specific concerns that i am not able to mention. please continue to pray for her, that 1. God will be her mighty shelter and that He will relentlessly protect her. 2.Her dads heart may be softened and accept Jesus as his savior. 3. The family will heal from their loss of their daughter and sister. 4. That God grants the family peace and compassion. Thank you i appreciate the prayers.

The baby girl has basically been raised by my in-laws and She loves her pap and nana.Her dad has not been in the picture, until now. Her dad has been in and out of jail for various things. The dad does not like my in-laws. My in-laws are trying to seek custody of the baby to raise her in a loving Christian Home. Please pray that:1. Gods will be unobstructed, and be done in the custody case this September. 2. That the baby will be place where God wants her to be. 3. Kathy Thanks so much for all the prayers for my neighbor Sharon. She is responding well to the antibiotics given to her in the hospital and now the doctors say she may keep her leg after all. She still has a long way to go though as she has now had a heart atack but she is in the right place for help. I know without a doubt that God is with her.

Melanie My granddaughter little Emery had her MRI under anesthesia this week and although she had been diagnosed by a number of specialists and also with 2 echocardiograms that she had a Coarctation of the aorta (as well as a PDA), the Lord has graced us with His favor. The radiologist could not find the Coarctation!! He went back again to review the MRI but could not find it. His words....this is a miracle!! Thank you all so much for your prayers. The word says that the prayers of the righteous is powerful. Indeed they are!! Please continue to pray that the PDA will close on its own as well.

I am only sixteen and ever since i was young i worried about getting sick! Id get so worked up i would force myself into cold sweets were i would be shaking and hyperventolateing i would be so scared and than my asthma would work up.... i had to go on anxiety meds when i was real young, i still take them.....and today i am worried because my friend Krista has the pukeing flu! i was only around her for 4min. and i washed my hands! but im stil scared ill catch it. I ask for someone any one! to pray for me! for peace at mind, faith, health, and comfort. also for Krista that she recover well.

Joseph Thank you all for the prayers! The Lord has answered my prayers starting June 27th that Noah Xavier was born a healthy baby boy. Then yesterday I was given a second job that works around my regular hours in order to expand my detailing business. Grateful for all the prayers and thankful that God heard them and answered them.

Lashonda Thank you to all who are keeping me in their prayers. My car just got repod this morning and it is truely a blessing to say that GOD does have a purpose. This past Saturday at the Prayer Breakfast at my church the message said that there is purpose in what were going through and I believe it to its core. We must strive for GODs purpose and not that of our own. With that being said I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.

Jalysa God is amazing. God has shown up and shown out in all the thins I have prayed for about 9months ago. God has allowed peace and healing to come to me and I pry my ex-boyfriedn about our relationship. I have learned that God has complete control over everything. Not a leaf falls from the tree if it is not his will God is utimintely in control.Ive learned through god stretchign my faith and doing some seriouss oul surgery on me to trust him. I realized I was allow the burden of others to fall on me. God already sent his son to die on the cross so that we will have everlasting life. I am saved by grace, Chris my ex-boyfriend is saved by grace. His family is saved by grace, my family and friends are saved by grace. God is in control. I m learning to focus on him and him alone. God will bring my husband to me in the right time and season. But still then the work of helping God in his kingdom still continues. I have learned that marriage is ministry. But I know that the Lord knows my heart. Even if I never experience a earthly marriage we wall will be apart of the greatest marriage of all time. When Jesus Christ comes back to take us home. We are his bride. I am so joyful God is making all things new in my life, healing places that need healings and, continuously dying to the flesh so that Christ can live through me. I love God and he is my everything, he is more than enough for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonnie An update on my sister Laurie. God is good. She had her follow up appointment with her surgeon. The cancer had started to spread in the lobe they removed, but they got it all. The lymph nodes they removed came back clean. She has gone from a diagnosis of lung cancer to cancer free in 10 weeks. Thanks all for the prayers.

My friends cousin died recently... Shes taking it ok for now but I would like it if others would join me in prayer for her and for her family.

Dawn About a week after I posted this I was asked to help do some Way of the master stuff during a day at the park event. I witnessed to people for about 4 hours. It was the most amazing thing I have ever done. I knew that I was doing Gods will and I was walking on the path that He wanted me on. I felt like I have finally found out what I am supposed to do. Then just last night I was asked to help with the youth group when our church starts one. I am so excited that God opened these doors for me. Thank you to everyone who prayed and for all your prayers!

Please pray that the Lord will lead me in the direction he wants me to go. I have been getting alot of comments about getting involved more in my church and I would appriciate prayers for the wisdom and courage to recognize and act when I am being called for service. Thank you.
