Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Andrea I am a single mother who has been in a relationship with a guy for about 3 years now. Well until recently. Everything was going great we had plans to get married and move in with each other in about 7 months.He already had a house in Alabama and he was painting rooms for my boys. We were deciding what to keep of mine and what to sell. I was applying for jobs out there. We were also supposed to spend the holidays together. We had had our disagreements, but never a huge fight and then out of no where he became withdrawn and angry all the time. Started hiding things like talking to people and what he had been up to that day. At first he was under alot of stress posssibly going to lose his career, but he found out that everything is fine now. Now he says that he just has some issues he has to work out on his own and its not fair to drag me through them, but that he still loves me and my boys and wants to fix this. But I dont know if I should trust him or if there is a reason this is going on and I should move on? It just came on so quickly! This seems like such a small problem considering what is going on with the world today, but this is my life and future and my boys lives and future. I just need help to know what I am supposed to do? Please pray for us. Thankyou!

Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

Sue I ask for prayer as tomorrow (12/13) my family will be going to court to see if a trial date will be set or a plea bargain offered for the man charged in my sons death. My 18 year old son died in a car crash Jan 14, 2012. Ever since that day, life has been a struggle with my now incomplete family. The entire ordeal has been a tortuous one and I hope a just plea bargain is offered so we dont have to endure the ugliness of a trial. (As it is, we have been subjected to the under handedness of the defense). So I ask for the gift of prayer that whatever decision is made that the Lord will give us strength to accept it as His will.

Shell'a S First off I want to thank you for taking the time out to look at my prayer request. I would like to thank God first and formost for all the amazing blessings he has given me. I am thankful for everything I have, for because of God it is all possible. My prayer request is.. I would love for you guys to pray that I continue to recieve my blessing, pray for my family, and friends, that they get directed in the right direction, in Gods direction. I pray that God watches over my brothers and sisters, my parents, my siblings, my family of God. I pray that God rebukes the negative words, actions, people, and thoughts out of my life. And keeps me involves with and surrounded with annointed people of God. Friends that keep me on the right track and keep me involved with the Lord. I pray that God keeps all jelous and anger away from me. I remember reading in my prayer book that "Anger is dangerous, but jelousy is even worse." I tend to find myself being very jelous and insecure about very little things. Thats something that changes my mood and my personality on a daily basis. And I asking for prayer about that. I thank everyone who was praying for me to get into college and get scholarships and stuff. I praise God that I was able to get in everywhere I applied (except one). I got scholarships from schools, and it was a lot of scholarship money... but it wasnt quite enough. Ill be staying home and going to community college next semester. I was really angry and upset about it, but Im doing better. It still sting and I still so wish I could be going away, but Im accepting Gods plans for me more and more every day. I ask that you help me pray that Ill be able to keep an open mind and to wait for signs from God to tell me to move. I pray that I wont let this change of plans destroy my relationship with Christ and that I will do the work He has planned for me here at home. I pray that nothing gets in my way (especially not myself) and that I will glorify Him through all I do. I pray that I can transfer to a Christian school next year (if it is Gods will) and that Ill be able to get my classes here at community. So far, Ive gotten into all my classes for Fall sem, but I worry about getting in for Spring. Please please, pray that nothing stands in the way of Gods plans and that I will always LISTEN and ACCEPT His plans for me. Its been tough, but Im still pushing forward.

Rachel Spoon I havent found that one best friend, but I am so SO much closer with the girls in my youth group. We went to Hume Lake last week and we had such a great time. We spent the last night just.. crying and hurting for each other and for the first time in my life, I understand what it really means to have sisters in Christ. I love these girls so much! Ive known some of them all my life, and Ive known some of them for just one week, but I love them all. It was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for the prayers! God bless.

Someone who will grab lunch after church with me and who I can chat about anything with... who wont judge me and who lets me say what I need to say rather than making everything about herself. I just need someone. Im so lonely sometimes even though I have all these different groups of friends.

Rachel Spoon Update: God has been moving in my life. Two of my old friends just decided that theyd cut me out of their lives today... I was pretty upset, but Im okay (or, Im getting to that point). They were not Godly influences anyway, and I have clashed with one because of my faith many times. I am also getting information on college Bible studies, so Ill hopefully be making more Christian friends soon! And Ive been spending a LOT of time with my Christian friends, and were finding lots of things other than church to talk about. Please keep praying for me, but Gods been working! Thanks, God bless.

Rachel Spoon Ive had a couple opportunities to share with the youth group lately. I get pretty nervous about sharing, but the youth group leaders and our youth pastor have been so encouraging. The kids in the youth group are also really encouraging and they generally like my lessons. Of course, I still have to work on presentation, as I get really nervous and my speech gets kinda choppy, but our youth leaders say not to worry that we all have to start somewhere. I still dont know if this is what I am supposed to be doing in the long run, but I know Im definitely going to enjoy work with the youth ministry whether Im a youth pastor or a group leader. Thanks so much for the prayers!

TestedAndTried Lord~Give Rachel the guidance she needs to deliver your message whenever and to whomever needs to hear the gospel. It is my belief and Lord forgive me if I am wrong, that your messages come in all directions from all different types of sources so it should not matter that she is a woman. If she has your message to deliver and somebody does not want to hear it because she is a woman, it is their loss...Amen

Shes been working for a family company since before I was born, and shes nervous about finding a job elsewhere. Many years ago, I fostered a girl with problems. She stayed with me for about 3 years. When she left at 16, she got pregnant and purely on the fact that she had been a cutter 3 years earlier, the baby was taken from her by the social services, before she even left hospital, and adopted. 2 years later, when she was 18, she became pregnant again. The social services didnt have as much say this time because she was in a relationship, the grandmother got involved and she kept the baby for 18 months when it all went wrong. I got involved and even built an extension on my house for her and the baby. However, the social services got really heavy and caused problems. I fell out with the girl and she lost this baby to the social services too.I hadnt seen her for many years then found out she had a son and was happy in a relationship. Then horror of horrors, this boy took ill. After pestering the doctors, the mother was told she was being hysterical, and the littel boy was taken into care. After two weeks of worry, the boy died in foster care. His mum had just managed to get to the hospital before he died. She was sad because she didnt even know what he was wearing. He was six years old. I have tried to be there for her and tried to comfort her. She has spent some time in psychiatric care. She gained some comfort from the father who she was still in touch with, though the death had broken them. Then, two weeks ago, he was taken into psychiatric care. He then killed himself in a suicide pact with another man. This is being investigated and so is the death of the boy.The mum, Leanne, asks me why God is angry with her and why is he punishing her. I am frightened for her. I also find it difficult to find words for her.Please pray.

Riley I have been in and out of the hospital over the past three months. I had to be taken by ambulance twice. The doctors can;t figure out what is wrong but I know that Jesus us the ultimate healer! Pray for her, to lift her up and give her the strength she needs and be with the people and agencies that will make the descisions.

b n Thank so much for everyones prayers. So far the baby is healthy as am I. My blood sugar numbers have been under tight control. My husband just started a new job, full time, and making more than he was before. We have been blessed with new furniture as well.

Abby Chiara isnt scared at all anymore, and through this tiral, her Mother has gotten closer to God than we expected. Im so excited to see what is going on her family right now, because even though they havent found a perminate place to stay, theyre calm and collected, and God is just moving in their lifes so much. Its amazing to see God move in the midst of a horrible situation. Thank you to everyone who has prayed!

Please pray for my friend Chiara. A few weeks ago she was told that her and her Mother were being evicted from their home, and she was very scared. Recently, they had a friend tell them of a preacher who owned a church and a home across from the church. They checked it out, with high hopes of being able to live there, but the house has a lot of problems. (Espestos, mold, rats and other infestations, and much more.) So, they will have a person in there to check it out, but they dont know yet, if theyll be able to live in the house. But the preacher and his wife have offered to help pay for rent somewhere else, if they cant live there. I also want to ask prayers for Chiaras Mother, because she isnt Christian, but because of this trial, she has found the Lord!!!! Chiara and I are so happy for her newfound faith!! Abby My prayer hasnt been completely answered by God, but with prayer comes action. The Lord has pushed on my heart to start a worship team, or church band for my church, and Im nervous about it, but I am going to try my best to do this for God. I sang in church this Sunday and got a good respense, and I feel more called than ever to sing God!! Praise be to Him who rules over everything!! Thank you guys, who prayed for me! :)

Anyway, I wanted to ask that everyone please pray that my music takes off soon, and that when I sing or play, proplr dont see me, they see Jesus. And also, I want to go to EU when its time for college, and get a scholorship for music and stuff, so thank you!! :)

Maree God has not answered my prayer yet, when there are delays it is because our Father God has something ready for the perfect time. Just because it is not in our time does not mean God has not or will not answer our prayers. I thank everyone who has been praying for our son. I do apoligise for not coming back to thank you all but I have been unwell. Please let me know if you need prayer for anything at all. May God bless each and everyone of you, you are all deeply loved, deeply treasured and deeply blessed.

He is not a christian although we pray for that , but he has lost his apprentiship, he lives off noodles and was seriously considering comming home. but now he doesnt wat to come home because he says he doesnt want to let his friends down cause they are doing so much for him, mind you what they are doing is taking him out and paying for him to get drunk. He has said he is down and misses his family, we have got a couple of jobs lined up if he does come home. I dont want to push to hard and push him further away but I cant just sit back and do nothing either. I love my son so much so please please please could you pray hard for him to come home and to find God
