Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

Please intervene between my friend and myself and give us wisdom to take this chance, give us courage to start this relationship and grant us discernment in the decisions we make. GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Andrea I am a single mother who has been in a relationship with a guy for about 3 years now. Well until recently. Everything was going great we had plans to get married and move in with each other in about 7 months.He already had a house in Alabama and he was painting rooms for my boys. We were deciding what to keep of mine and what to sell. I was applying for jobs out there. We were also supposed to spend the holidays together. We had had our disagreements, but never a huge fight and then out of no where he became withdrawn and angry all the time. Started hiding things like talking to people and what he had been up to that day. At first he was under alot of stress posssibly going to lose his career, but he found out that everything is fine now. Now he says that he just has some issues he has to work out on his own and its not fair to drag me through them, but that he still loves me and my boys and wants to fix this. But I dont know if I should trust him or if there is a reason this is going on and I should move on? It just came on so quickly! This seems like such a small problem considering what is going on with the world today, but this is my life and future and my boys lives and future. I just need help to know what I am supposed to do? Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

Sue I ask for prayer as tomorrow (12/13) my family will be going to court to see if a trial date will be set or a plea bargain offered for the man charged in my sons death. My 18 year old son died in a car crash Jan 14, 2012. Ever since that day, life has been a struggle with my now incomplete family. The entire ordeal has been a tortuous one and I hope a just plea bargain is offered so we dont have to endure the ugliness of a trial. (As it is, we have been subjected to the under handedness of the defense). So I ask for the gift of prayer that whatever decision is made that the Lord will give us strength to accept it as His will.

catherine My mother has COPD and has been in the hospital for the last week and a half. She is scared and just wants to come home. She has had COPD for 10 years and this is her second copd flare up that has put her in the hospital. She is on oxygen 24/7 and can barely do anything anymore. She fights on for her family. Her husband, her daughter (myself), her son and my daughter, ( her 4 year old granddaughter) Please pray for her recovery and long life. I pray every night and hope she will get more strength to come home.

Alisha We can do nothing without Christ who strengthens us! Keep reading Gods Word and know you are doing the right thing by waiting for your beautiful wife. A helpful way is to not be alone with another person, always be in a group setting, so that way it may not be as much of a temptation. My prayers are with you! Praise God you are feeling convicted! Ask for forgiveness, that is the one prayer we know for a fact that Christ will alway say yes to (if our hearts are true).

Kailah Thank you so much guys for praying! It really did help me. I really think that my attitude is were it should be now. I have been getting better eachday, but yesteday really did it for me. I went to my youth group like normal, but it was an all worship service this time. It was amazing! I reallyt connected with God, and just told him what was going on in my life. I asked him to help me with my attitude, and then i just gave it all to Him. I know now that its in His hands now. I talked with a leader about it too. and all that plus ur prayer really worked it out quick! =) thank so much guys for your prayer! =)

Today at school I approached 2 people to invite them to church. People you wouldnt except to come at all but one agreed willingly and another is sort of edgy. I know thats not many at all but its a start. I can feel my courage and boldness build up.
Here recently my mother purchased me two necklaces from this website that had bible verses I hold very close to my heart. I wear it around proudly and feel a piece of excitement when anyone reaches for it to read it. Its a great way to start up a conversation or invite anyone to church. Im hoping there will be a few items on my wishlist that Ill save up money to purchase that will have the same effect as the necklace. :)

Ive noticed many adults overlook teenagers and their problems because theyre young. The reality is theyre faced with many issues that are in need of solving also. My name is Rose and I attend highschool in a very small unknown town. People really seem to have lost their morals. Theres several homosexual children in most grades that consist of less than 50 kids. Theres been a teacher that would bring up buddah. Most students minds are corrupted with dirty thoughts or jokes they hear from their classmates. I know this is nationwide. (Probably worldwide) But I am asking for my fellow christians online to pray for me. That Ill have the courage to stand up for my beliefs that I know are right.

Ruth I heard from my son last night, first contact since my prayer request. Hes having some problems while in Iraq, he has a job where he cant leave to go for food or anything and no one has been bringing his meals, and hes not getting the medical help he needs. Hes been struggling with what to do, he called me last night and said he finally made a decision and filed complaints concerning these issues. I believe my prayer was answered, it helped him to find a solution to these problems. Please continue to pray, that these filings will get to who needs to see them and that there is no retribution on my son for having the courage to file them.

Darcy I am currently listening to the daily audio Bible most days. I have already given my virginity away, I cant drive yet and I guess my aunt and uncle do not find it necessary to go to church anymore... But I do listen to a lot of sermons. I stopped partying and havent drank alcohol in a while. I confessed that I lied to the people that I lied to and told them the truth. I dont whacth pornography anymore even though sometimes I am still tempted to, I havent in months. However I do still struggle with masturbation sometimes. The suicidial thoughts were so bad that I tried to commit suicide but havent had one suicidial thought after this past time I tried to commit suicide which was my third attempt. I feel a lot closer to God lately and am trying to do the right things for him. I am not completely free from all of those things I had asked you to pray for... But I am most of them. I use to read my Bible everyday and just have this passion, hunger and ultimate desire for Jesus. I was learning so much about Jesus, and was growing closer to him. Then I met this guy and we started dating and I put myself in an abusive relationship with him. I fell away from God, and I almost gave my virginity to him. We did have oral sex, and I had told him that because I was forced in the past with Sexual abuse, in a sexual situation, I cant say no. He used that to his own advantage. Finally he set me free from the relationship and broke up with me. I was in so much emotional pain and I am still learning to move on. I know he isnt the right guy for me and I do deserve so much better than him. But after the Break up I tried to restore this relationship with God back to so much better than before. But I keep failing to do that. I dont read my Bible everyday now, I dont go to church anymore, I have drank alcohol and partied and got really drunk, I have told one lie and now I am caught in the web of that one lie, I struggle with whacthing Pornography and masturbation, Im afraid I am addicted, Jealousy, anger, The suicidial thoughts, I had cyber sex with someone I barely know, and I just feel distant from God. I want to live for him I do. I want freedom from all these things and I want to have the relationship I had back with Jesus. Please Pray that I would be free, I need strength, courage, hope, I need to accept Jesus forgiveness when it is needed. and whatever else you find necessary to pray for me. Advice would be great too. I dont read my Bible everyday now, I dont go to church anymore, I have drank alcohol and partied and got really drunk, I have told one lie and now I am caught in the web of that one lie, I struggle with whacthing Pornography and masturbation, Im afraid I am addicted, Jealousy, anger, The suicidial thoughts, I had cyber sex with someone I barely know, and I just feel distant from God. I want to live for him I do. I want freedom from all these things and I want to have the relationship I had back with Jesus. Please Pray that I would be free, I need strength, courage, hope, I need to accept Jesus forgiveness when it is needed. and whatever else you find necessary to pray for me. Advice would be great too. Mr. V Thanks guys so much for the prayer sadly no my band hasnt progressed much but it is ok. God has shown me in many ways that i need to focus on the basics of it all and just focus on praising him whether in a band or at my church. So i am still doing that and the time will come when a band will arise and things will happen all in gods time! praise god for his all knowing all mighty self! thanks again guys!

Charlie We finally joined our new church 2 weeks ago. My family was welcomed with open arms ad warm hearts. We felt like part of the family already. And as far as the Motorcycle Ministry my wife and I are in, the pastor asked me to speak about it when he introduced us to the congregation the day we joined. After the service, as people were coming to welcome us, I had about 20 men and couples ask me for more information on the ministry and how to get involved. It was so awesome. God knew what He was doing when He led us to this church. Thank you so much for the prayers. They were answered and continue to be.

I use to be very close in my relationship with God but through a string of events I kinda wandered away and now Im trying to get back. I feel stuck right now. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years now. One of the reasons why I fell in love with him was because he was a fellow Christian. Last night however, I saw that he wasnt very strong in his faith at all. He admitted that he never read the Bible, and that he didnt think it was important to go to church every week. Im really scared and confused right now, because now Im wonderfing if I really love him. I didnt think his faith was as strong as mine, but I never realized how weak it was. Most of his family claims to be Christian, but they never go to church or read the Bible either, and I suppose thats where hes getting his idea of a Christian from. I can see that with someone to show him the true meaning of a Christian, his faith would grow and he would understand why its important to read the Bible daily and meet with other Christians to worship our Lord. Please pray that he will understand what it means to worship the Lord, and what it means to be a Christian. Also, please pray for me, because Im completely heartbroken right now, and Im scared of talking to him about all this. Ive decided to end our relationship for now, because I cant be with someone whose faith is lacking so much. Until he proves to me that he is comitted to worshipping our God, I just.. cant be with him. I know this request probably sounds very childish and naive, but please pray for us. Please pray for Gods hand of protection over him and all of the soldiers who are there. Also, please pray that he can be a light to those around him. There are a lot of non-believers in his unit. Please also pray for my sister-in-law who is living as a homosexual. She and her girlfriend will be having a baby next month. She used to be a Christian. Raquel My application did go through but unfortunately I didnt get the job. On the day that I received the notification that I didnt get the job I received a my daily Bible text on my cell and it said "wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Psalm 27:14 so I know that I have to wait patiently for the Lord for He has bigger plans for me =)
