Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Andrea I am a single mother who has been in a relationship with a guy for about 3 years now. Well until recently. Everything was going great we had plans to get married and move in with each other in about 7 months.He already had a house in Alabama and he was painting rooms for my boys. We were deciding what to keep of mine and what to sell. I was applying for jobs out there. We were also supposed to spend the holidays together. We had had our disagreements, but never a huge fight and then out of no where he became withdrawn and angry all the time. Started hiding things like talking to people and what he had been up to that day. At first he was under alot of stress posssibly going to lose his career, but he found out that everything is fine now. Now he says that he just has some issues he has to work out on his own and its not fair to drag me through them, but that he still loves me and my boys and wants to fix this. But I dont know if I should trust him or if there is a reason this is going on and I should move on? It just came on so quickly! This seems like such a small problem considering what is going on with the world today, but this is my life and future and my boys lives and future. I just need help to know what I am supposed to do? Please pray for us. Thankyou!

Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

Sue I ask for prayer as tomorrow (12/13) my family will be going to court to see if a trial date will be set or a plea bargain offered for the man charged in my sons death. My 18 year old son died in a car crash Jan 14, 2012. Ever since that day, life has been a struggle with my now incomplete family. The entire ordeal has been a tortuous one and I hope a just plea bargain is offered so we dont have to endure the ugliness of a trial. (As it is, we have been subjected to the under handedness of the defense). So I ask for the gift of prayer that whatever decision is made that the Lord will give us strength to accept it as His will.

Her Ct scan showed that she has renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) Her right kidney needs to be removed ASAP so that it wont spread to her other organs. We are believing GOD for supernatural healing and divine protection over her. May God bless all the physicians who will be at the operating room on Tuesday and grant them wisdom on how to do whats best for my mother, Nancy Mora. jordan Just thought I would throw out there.... This last Thursday morning I took my pt test. I needed 42 pushups, I got 56 pushups, a personal record. I needed 53 sit ups, I got 63 sit ups, tied my personal record. I needed to run a 2 mile in 15:54, I ran it in 15:24, which is my best time since basic training. Thanks for the prayer, glory to God!!!!

PRAISE GOD!!!! This isnt a prayer really, just a praise. I was driving to volunteering today, and I almost got hit by a car. The other car would have hit me RIGHT at the drivers seat where I was sitting. I forgot to look that way, but THANK GOD both of us stopped in time. I was so scared! God has me in His hands, PRAISE HIM PRAISE HIM PRAISE HIM!!!

Rachel Spoon I am feeling SO MUCH BETTER! =] I dont even feel sick anymore. I woke up early to prepare everything for my test, but when I went to go take it my calculator failed. I changed the batteries before going, but for some reason it still wonked out on me. My parents have been pushing my towards engineering and that used to be my goal, but lately Ive been getting the feeling that God has other plans for me. I was only taking this test (SAT Math2 Subject Test) because it was necessary for engineering majors. I dont know for sure, but I think maybe this calculator failure was Gods way of telling me that my path is something different. So, Im still looking around for His will for me, and Im still interested in music and youth ministry. Im just gonna leave everything to God, because He knows His plans for me. =] Thanks for the prayer and support guys! God bless!

Angela This afternoon I went before the Man and 2 ladies over the Juvie system and I believe your prayers for me was answered things went so smooth it was as though god himself was in the room conducting me the things I should say. They argeed to let my son go to volunteer church based group studies. But there was not enough time for me to speak about the other kids I was rushed as though this was a last min. meeting they held especially for me and my son. I will be meeting with the head over the Juvie system again one more time I pray that I am not rushed and I can include the concerns I have for the other kids in Juvie, for I am sure some of them have never been in a church or even been introduced to the ways of God. May god bless each and everyone of you at C28 you definetly have made a powerful impact on my life just by knowing there are wonderful people like you in this world. Angela

Who suffered a injury over 24 hours without going to the ER I went for visitation and saw the condition my child was in and requested to see a supervisor. I need prayers that I can open the eyes to the system of the changes that need to take place. There are many of them and only one of me! But God will be with me in this meeting I know he has prepared me. Pray that I can convience them to teach these children to hear the word of god, because where my son is they do not recieve any teachings. God Bless

My supervisor is very frustrated with me that I keep forgetting simple tasks pertaining to my job describtion. She said I havent made these mistakes since I first started. Ive been praying for direction and wisdom. Shes not exactly the friendliest boss to work with either. Shes very blunt and demanding. She barks when she speaks. I try to ignore her daily outbursts, but I think its really put an impact on me mentally.
My temp job ends this friday 10/21st and I have the opportunity to return in 2 wks for another 6 months. My problem is my memory. Elena Thank you for your prayers. =) The Lord has been doing a lot in my life and teaching me so much. Sometimes I forget to just trust in Him. God forgive me. Ive just been on a long and hard road, but I see the Lords fingerprints and I see Him at work in my life. Hes molding me into who He wants me to be and opening my eyes to things I never saw before. Im also learning about change, as hard as it is for me, thats the way life is...and sometimes change is good. But at least I have comfort in knowing that the Lord never changes. Im just trying to keep my eyes on the Lord and not worry so much about other people. And to guard my heart and not let it deceive or control me and my emotions. Pray for my depression, feelings of worthlessness (not being happy with myself) along with all my anxieties and worrying about what others are thinking about me. I need someone my own age who would truly reach out to me at my home church. Pray also for my church, I feel like they are not 100 there for me. I dont feel like I need to go to another church, but something is off in the body and I feel it. Pray for Gods will for me about Bible College. Ive been waiting two years since I graduated from high school and Im just getting frustrated not knowing what to do in the meantime. I also need a real job. And lastly, I think I may like this guy at my church, but dont know if he feels the same way. Ive never even talked to him, but seeing him every Sunday playing in the worship team is both distracting and painful. Sometimes I do not even want to go to church because of him. I just got a lot going on, too much worry on my mind. I am also behind in my online math class. I have to finish my homework by midnight tonight and Im already stuck! Thank you so much for your prayers, sorry if it was a lot to pray about.

Elena Hi, My brother in laws grandpa passed away last Saturday, early in the morning. We are almost sure he was saved. Just keep his wife in prayer, I was told she stayed really strong, but completely broke down when they took his body away. May the Lord be with her and comfort her. Thank you for your prayers! Elena Thank you for all your prayers! I was mostly worried about my math here, but it turned out OK. Got all my homework done by midnight, (it is online class) and took my test, not the best score, but not the worst, it didnt affect my grade too much. I still have a B, but hope to bring it up. I have two more chapters to do! My teacher is giving us until Dec. 2 to finish it, which is good because now I can focus a little more on reading for my Theology class. Pray for strength for my reading in my Theology class. And that I would do a good job in getting to my Math earlier. Thank you! God bless.

Im the worlds biggest perfectionist and I want to do really good in my Math and Theology class, but I am also the worlds biggest procrastinator! Codify God is still healing me throughout this process. But I am now almost 4 months removed from the relationship. I have written off the engagement ring, But just last week she has contacted me and is going to give it back because she said she does not need it anymore. Praise God. Codify I have had no contact with her for over 3 weeks, But slipped up and re-activated my facebook and looked at her page. Only to see scantily clad pictures of her and kissing a guy. It broke my heart, BUT confirms to me that God led me to the right decision.

Claiming to be in the Word so much yet I turn around and look in the mirror and I am a hypocrite, just like the ones that I speak about. Elena Thank you everyone for your prayers and words of comfort and encouragement. It means a lot and brings peace to my mind. Its nice to know that there are people willing to pray for me and with me. And I for them. The power of prayer is very strong. Even though we are not together physically, we are in spirit. "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20 The Lord revealed a lot to me last night, or early this morning. I am truly trying to give all my dreams and desires to God. I want to make a change and be more obedient to Christ. I trust that the Lords plans are better than my own. I really need answers and direction from God for my life. I dont know why I am here, or what to do. My plans have failed for Bible College and now Im just waiting to see what God has planned for me. I just dont know what I am supposed to be doing in the meantime. This weighs heavily on my mind everyday. Im just not happy and I feel tormented by my thoughts. But what I need prayer about the most is not really this, but that I would be able to open up my bible everyday and pray to God. I need to be closer to Him, Im off course and I need to get back. I need Him to show me my meaning and my purpose of being here. Pray that I will start being more obedient to God and stop wanting things only for myself. For so long I just wanted things to go my way and on my time, but I can see the Lord is really putting His foot down. And telling me that if I dont come to Him and be obedient that things are only going to get harder for me. I know this, the truth just really hurts. I dont know what stops me from spending time with God, but I know I need to start doing it more. Even if he doesnt go to church with you, invite him to lunch or better yet, show up at work one morning with an extra coffee and a bag of donuts to share....lifestyle evangelism is IN! hey every body. i went through a tough time sunday. i have this co-worker that is kinda going thorugh a ruff time in his life. last week we were riding in my work truck and were talking about the bible. now this past week our chruch was telling us about how we should invite someone over to church for a special service called THE CHAIR SERIES. its about people geting saved by christ. testimonies. our pastor said that this service wasnt for people like us that already accepted christ in our lives. but rather for people that are in need of christ and change. so i told him about it. and he agreed to come with his family. so i thought that was awesome! this is what made me feel so bad. i feel so selfish.the whole week i have been praying for my self and family and other on the c-28 who ask for it. the whole time i never once stoped and thought about my co-worker and what he was going through. so saturday night i told my self i was going to call him and ask if he was still going to go. but i didnt! so the next morning when i went to his house he told me he was going to pass on that service. he said he had gotten in a fight with his wife the night before. so he felt angry! so angry that he didnt feel like going and forcing a smile on his face for anyone. he felt like staying home by his self. no matter what i told him i could not convince him to go. i felt so bad! like i let him down! i felt so selfish to not have thought about him all week after he agreed to go. we grew up together in the same town. see ive know him almost all my life. but when i found christ we stopped hanging out cuase i left all my sinfull ways behind me along with most of my friends. he has a small problem with drinking everyday. i feel so bad about what happened. so can we all come toghter and say a prayer for him. his name is arron. thanks peace out! your brother who loves you all. :)
