I thank everyone who was praying for me to get into college and get scholarships and stuff. I praise God that I was able to get in everywhere I applied (except one). I got scholarships from schools, and it was a lot of scholarship money... but it wasnt quite enough. Ill be staying home and going to community college next semester. I was really angry and upset about it, but Im doing better. It still sting and I still so wish I could be going away, but Im accepting Gods plans for me more and more every day. I ask that you help me pray that Ill be able to keep an open mind and to wait for signs from God to tell me to move. I pray that I wont let this change of plans destroy my relationship with Christ and that I will do the work He has planned for me here at home. I pray that nothing gets in my way (especially not myself) and that I will glorify Him through all I do. I pray that I can transfer to a Christian school next year (if it is Gods will) and that Ill be able to get my classes here at community. So far, Ive gotten into all my classes for Fall sem, but I worry about getting in for Spring. Please please, pray that nothing stands in the way of Gods plans and that I will always LISTEN and ACCEPT His plans for me. Its been tough, but Im still pushing forward.

Rachel Spoon I havent found that one best friend, but I am so SO much closer with the girls in my youth group. We went to Hume Lake last week and we had such a great time. We spent the last night just.. crying and hurting for each other and for the first time in my life, I understand what it really means to have sisters in Christ. I love these girls so much! Ive known some of them all my life, and Ive known some of them for just one week, but I love them all. It was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for the prayers! God bless.

I have friends to talk about boys, friends to talk about music, friends to talk about school, friends to talk about TV shows/books... but I dont have a friend that I can talk about everything with. I dont have anyone that I can be completely 100 with that I know wont judge me and I know will uplift me and walk in faith with me. I just wish I had a best friend. It might sound kind of silly to pray for.. but please just pray that God sends me a fun female friend that likes what I do.. who will go to concerts with me, sleepover, and go to church with me the next morning. Someone who will grab lunch after church with me and who I can chat about anything with... who wont judge me and who lets me say what I need to say rather than making everything about herself. I just need someone. Im so lonely sometimes even though I have all these different groups of friends.

Rachel Spoon Update: God has been moving in my life. Two of my old friends just decided that theyd cut me out of their lives today... I was pretty upset, but Im okay (or, Im getting to that point). They were not Godly influences anyway, and I have clashed with one because of my faith many times. I am also getting information on college Bible studies, so Ill hopefully be making more Christian friends soon! And Ive been spending a LOT of time with my Christian friends, and were finding lots of things other than church to talk about. Please keep praying for me, but Gods been working! Thanks, God bless.

Rachel Spoon Ive had a couple opportunities to share with the youth group lately. I get pretty nervous about sharing, but the youth group leaders and our youth pastor have been so encouraging. The kids in the youth group are also really encouraging and they generally like my lessons. Of course, I still have to work on presentation, as I get really nervous and my speech gets kinda choppy, but our youth leaders say not to worry that we all have to start somewhere. I still dont know if this is what I am supposed to be doing in the long run, but I know Im definitely going to enjoy work with the youth ministry whether Im a youth pastor or a group leader. Thanks so much for the prayers!

TestedAndTried Lord~Give Rachel the guidance she needs to deliver your message whenever and to whomever needs to hear the gospel. It is my belief and Lord forgive me if I am wrong, that your messages come in all directions from all different types of sources so it should not matter that she is a woman. If she has your message to deliver and somebody does not want to hear it because she is a woman, it is their loss...Amen

My family is having some financial problems right now. My dads paycheck isnt that big, and my moms company is shutting down. Shes been working for a family company since before I was born, and shes nervous about finding a job elsewhere. Another company mentioned an open position for her, but theyre still looking for other candidates. Please pray for both my parents jobs, and that they wont be too stressed out over all this. S P The girl has kept her little boy!!! The social services were told by the judge that they will be investigated. The girl will still be monitored but this prayer was answered by our Lord!!!!! Praise to Him. Thanks for praying!

Many years ago, I fostered a girl with problems. She stayed with me for about 3 years. When she left at 16, she got pregnant and purely on the fact that she had been a cutter 3 years earlier, the baby was taken from her by the social services, before she even left hospital, and adopted. 2 years later, when she was 18, she became pregnant again. The social services didnt have as much say this time because she was in a relationship, the grandmother got involved and she kept the baby for 18 months when it all went wrong. I got involved and even built an extension on my house for her and the baby. However, the social services got really heavy and caused problems. I fell out with the girl and she lost this baby to the social services too.I hadnt seen her for many years then found out she had a son and was happy in a relationship. Then horror of horrors, this boy took ill. After pestering the doctors, the mother was told she was being hysterical, and the littel boy was taken into care. After two weeks of worry, the boy died in foster care. His mum had just managed to get to the hospital before he died. She was sad because she didnt even know what he was wearing. He was six years old. I have tried to be there for her and tried to comfort her. She has spent some time in psychiatric care. She gained some comfort from the father who she was still in touch with, though the death had broken them. Then, two weeks ago, he was taken into psychiatric care. He then killed himself in a suicide pact with another man. This is being investigated and so is the death of the boy.The mum, Leanne, asks me why God is angry with her and why is he punishing her. I am frightened for her. I also find it difficult to find words for her.Please pray.

Riley I have been in and out of the hospital over the past three months. I had to be taken by ambulance twice. The doctors can;t figure out what is wrong but I know that Jesus us the ultimate healer! She is a young attorney and has a lot to learn still, this oppurtunity will benefit many people. God is good and thank you to all that were praying.

There is a young lady in my office, she is an attorney and an Irish immigrant, the enemy is attacking her in every turn she makes to get her Visa approved, with each day it become harder for them to accept her paper work due to time restrictions. Please, I am asking for her, she is a good, hard working young lady, trying to better herself to be able to serve the Lord. Pray for her, to lift her up and give her the strength she needs and be with the people and agencies that will make the descisions.

I still wear my wedding ring because I know that my ex-wife and I dont have any problems that are too great for God to heal. I still wear my wedding ring because 9 years ago we had something that made us want to spend the rest of our lives together and I believe that something is still there underneath all the worldly things that Satan has thrown at us. I still wear my wedding ring because I want to be an example to our children that marriage is a lifetime commitment, and because I made a vow that I intend to keep, "for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

I pray that someday, the lies she holds onto so dearly will be revealed to her and that shell see the truth. I also ask that you pray for me during this time. She said a lot of incredibly harsh things and turned one of my other old friends against me with her lies. b n Thank so much for everyones prayers. So far the baby is healthy as am I. My blood sugar numbers have been under tight control. My husband just started a new job, full time, and making more than he was before. We have been blessed with new furniture as well.

My husband and I found out a month ago we are expecting our first child. :) We are very excited but as both of us are in college our finances are tight as is. Please pray with us that a. our finances are met as new bills will start to come in b. we are able to focus in school as we prepare for this new baby and c. my health (am a diabetic) as well as the health of our baby. Thank you so much and God bless.

Abby Dear Lord, please put this beautiful family in your arms, and let them know that you will provide for them, everything they need. In trials, let them keep their faith in you, and rejoice even when things arent looking bright. Abby Chiara isnt scared at all anymore, and through this tiral, her Mother has gotten closer to God than we expected. Im so excited to see what is going on her family right now, because even though they havent found a perminate place to stay, theyre calm and collected, and God is just moving in their lifes so much. Its amazing to see God move in the midst of a horrible situation. Thank you to everyone who has prayed!

Please pray for my friend Chiara. A few weeks ago she was told that her and her Mother were being evicted from their home, and she was very scared. Recently, they had a friend tell them of a preacher who owned a church and a home across from the church. They checked it out, with high hopes of being able to live there, but the house has a lot of problems. (Espestos, mold, rats and other infestations, and much more.) So, they will have a person in there to check it out, but they dont know yet, if theyll be able to live in the house. But the preacher and his wife have offered to help pay for rent somewhere else, if they cant live there. I also want to ask prayers for Chiaras Mother, because she isnt Christian, but because of this trial, she has found the Lord!!!! Chiara and I are so happy for her newfound faith!! I want prayer for them to keep faith, and for her Mother to continue to uncover the Lord in her life, and I thank you for all of that!! Please visit my blog: www.spunkydoodlegirl.blog.com

Stephanie Carol Abby, I will be praying for your friend Chiara and her family. I imagine they must be scared, but remind then that the Lord will always be with them. I pray that they find a safe home to live in, and they continue to have faith in Jesus!

Abby My prayer hasnt been completely answered by God, but with prayer comes action. The Lord has pushed on my heart to start a worship team, or church band for my church, and Im nervous about it, but I am going to try my best to do this for God. I sang in church this Sunday and got a good respense, and I feel more called than ever to sing God!! Praise be to Him who rules over everything!! Thank you guys, who prayed for me! :)

I would like to ask for prayer in my Music Ministery. At a yung age I startrd singing, and am still with a fiery passion to sing every word for God. Anyway, I wanted to ask that everyone please pray that my music takes off soon, and that when I sing or play, proplr dont see me, they see Jesus. And also, I want to go to EU when its time for college, and get a scholorship for music and stuff, so thank you!! :)

Maree God has not answered my prayer yet, when there are delays it is because our Father God has something ready for the perfect time. Just because it is not in our time does not mean God has not or will not answer our prayers. I thank everyone who has been praying for our son. I do apoligise for not coming back to thank you all but I have been unwell. Please let me know if you need prayer for anything at all. May God bless each and everyone of you, you are all deeply loved, deeply treasured and deeply blessed.

Hi there Iam new here but I am desperate for prayer for my 18 year old son he is on the other side of Australia Katherine to be exact and we very much feel he needs to come home. He is not a christian although we pray for that , but he has lost his apprentiship, he lives off noodles and was seriously considering comming home. but now he doesnt wat to come home because he says he doesnt want to let his friends down cause they are doing so much for him, mind you what they are doing is taking him out and paying for him to get drunk. He has said he is down and misses his family, we have got a couple of jobs lined up if he does come home. I dont want to push to hard and push him further away but I cant just sit back and do nothing either. I love my son so much so please please please could you pray hard for him to come home and to find God

Hannah I managed to get through the material, and I was calm on test day. Unfortunately, I didnt score very well, but thankfully Im not planning on doing anything in the science field! Thank you very much for all your prayers!

I am taking an SAT II (chemistry) in early June. I fell slightly behind in my study of chemistry throughout the year, and Im now kind of stressed about the test. I am studying hard and trying to catch up in time for the test, but Im worried I wont finish in time. Please pray that I am able to understand all the material in time and for me to be calm and peaceful on test day. Thanks!
