Emma Hi I am asking for prayer for me n my 5 children!! I have bn severely emotionally abused, which turned physical by their father. We seperated nearly 2 yrs ago but shortly after my youngest baby (13 months at the time) sustained a fracture to the ankle. My children have not bn with me for 18 months!! The social services in the uk do NOT believe I caused the injury but are saying I am too damaged to care for them!!! The final hearing is nxt week (12 December) n it looks like my younger ones mayb adopted n the older 2 remain in care!!! I am petrified!! God has told me He is in control n when this happens its bcos HE has decided - but I am struggling to trust!! I know by this happening my children will b fully protected from their father (he is still trying to abuse them) - to protect them, I have to let them go!!! I am scared, confused n feel like I am dying yet still breathing!!!! Y is doing the right thing, Gods thing, to protect those I Iove the most so painful??!!

Cynthia My son-in-law lost his job last month, and though it has drawn him closer to the Lord, the strain on my daughter, with a baby and no income coming in, is overwhelming her. On top of that, my husband signed for the loan for their car, which we are now responsible to pay since they cant, so our finances are also hurting. Robert Three years ago my wife of 13 years, and mother of our six year old boy (six at the time) went through a dark period and possibly a mid-life crisis. She did things that were ungodly and not wife-like. I overcame that, but she couldnt but she couldnt and she divorced me a year ago. We are still in daily communication and committed to our son. I have kept our communication open and have tried to be an example of acting Christ like, with forgiveness and showing love. She knows she is wrong, but is struggling with feeling that closeness to God. I have two prayer requests. it is very difficult at times to not be bitter and I could use some prayers to keep me strong in those times, to keep my focus on God and not circumstance. Also, for her, she is struggling with our enemy and needs to come back to being committed to God and our family.

Brittany Long request short(ish), my unsaved father has been suffering with trigeminal neuralgia (basically severe nerve pain in the face) for years. He has been prescribed many medications some have given him terrible side effects and others have ceased being effective. The severity of this problem varies throughout the year. I have prayed and cried out to God until I had no more tears to shed or energy to waste. When I get excited that my dad is healing and I praise God it seems like right after his pain is back. I have posted this request on multiple sites, my church family has prayed and I cant help but feel like God wants my Dad to suffer and that just doesnt sit right with me. Spiritually I know that doesnt make sense but the human side of me is at times resentful. Like if I had a child and I saw them in pain I would help them without thinking twice. When my dad groans in pain just from taking a bite of food I find myself looking up thinking, "SERIOUSLY GOD?!" As if hes dangling my dads pain in front of me and again I understand it doesnt make sense and I dont want to feel that way. I just wish a miracle could happen so that maybe my dad could see it and believe God loves him and is real. But why should he have any beliefs? If he knew how much he was prayed for and saw it being ineffective it would just solidify his unbelief. Thoughts of my dad dying from TN or complications surrounding treatment terrify me because hed be going to hell and I would know that God could have done something when he didnt no matter how many prayers were sent. So please, pray for my dads spiritual and physical healing and pray for me also as this whole thing puts me on an emotional and spiritual roller coaster.

Robert Canaan The woman I love and myself are having troubles. Due to her life situation, we are unable to see each other, and when we do talk, the frustration causes us to act in ways that not us, myself included. I would like to be prayed for that we can work through this time, remain stronger than before, and for the roadblocks to be lifted so we can be together and have a healthy, happy, loving relationship. michael When I pray, I pray knowing that God will answer them and I feel the know in your prays. Thank you for your faith. Also for those who are struggling with whatever, receive the spirit, it will change your life. If you dont know what Im talking about research receiving the Holy Spirit in your life. A lot of churches dont emphasize the importance of the Holy Spirit, read 1 and 2 Corinthians if you want to learn more. Its changed my life, correction the Holy Spirit has changed my life!

Ruth Thanks for all of your prayers for our families move, it has gone very well! Our dog safely made it over on the same flight with no problems. Our vehicle was delivered to us today and our household goods should be delivered tomorrow. So we can finally get fully settled. I start my new position next Monday, so please continue to pray as I could really use it. I have been with the company eight and a half years but starting in a new office in the other side of the country is like starting a new job or so it seems, I am really nervous. But am so happy to be where we are. Lovin the new area and our new home! Thank you God for all of the blessings!

This move has been a deep desire for us for many years, and in 09 the Lord opened the doors for us to make the move. We spent several months praying about the move and honestly feel that it is Gods will for us to make this life-changing journey. Please pray for traveling mercies, our dog who will have to fly with our luggage (this is one factor that is making us very nervous, but we are trusting the Lord), and all will go well with the house, moving company, etc. Please also pray that either my brother, wife, or myself will be able to find work after we arrive. My mother is getting a transfer with her employer, but a second income will ease the burden on her. Thank you so much and God bless!!

Jessica The doctors got him stabilized and got his lung re-inflated and stopped the infection. They also got his wound closed and clean. The family is back home again and he is doing fine. Just continue to pray that the family and the baby are taken care of and that God continues to heal the child. Thank you so much for the prayers. I know that the family appreciates them so much!

Shortly after they released him to go home his lung collapsed and he has an infection. I just got updated today. They are doing more surgeries to help get rid of the infection and to make sure everything is ok. Hes going to be in ICU for a while. They had to put some sort of sponge around his heart to stop the infection. Please be in prayer for this family.

Michelle There was a skit at church last night that really moved me. A man walking along and several people would entice him to go drink, do drugs, go to women. Each time he went over to them, they would beat him down to the ground. He would leave and once again they would convince him to join them to only beat him down again. All along Jesus was standing by watching it all, waiting to rescue him. Things of this world will lead to destruction and ultimately spiritual death on this earth and for eternity. Dont let the enemy deceive you. You need real passion and real intimacy, God knows how to give it to you because HE CREATED IT! If you submit to Him! He will bring you true fulfillment but, you must first believe. Nothing is impossible with God but, he leaves the choice up to us. He doesnt want to take anything away from us, he knows there is no true fulfillment in sin. True intimacy is when the Lord brings you someone who truely loves you for you and you are both righteous in His sight and come together as man and wife, nothing is more beautiful. God Bless, I am praying for you.

Original Prayer Request (posted 2 Years Ago):
Please keep my boyfriend and I lifted in prayer. He has just recently given his life to Christ and joined the ministry that I am a part of. It has been fairly hard for us (especially me) to remain faithful to God and not be intimate with Him. I feel the need more so now than ever to keep our relationship free of intimacy so that God can truly bring him in. We have been to our leader at the church who has prayed and through God has given us the okay to marry and we are about to begin counseling. I am doing my best to remain faithful and he is really trying. We just really want to do things the right way and in Christ.

lindsay NO house yet but fond new ways to save money to reach our goal also we have commited to build a house now all we need on down payment two a builder that will let my husband do some of the work and three God direction......on when we have the where ...thank you to everyone who prayed for us...love you guys.....

I am a mother of 3 small childeren my husband and I live in an 844 sq foot house. You can say we need more room. haha Our 3 lttle girls are sharing one very little bedroom Kennedy 5 Asher 3 and Israel 1. We are having a really hard time saving money we know the Lord will provide for us but it never hurts for some extra prays to go up to the thrown for this prayer. Thank u so much for taking the time to pray for other people.

Please pray for the family and friends that are going through this incredibly grieving time. Rachel Spoon Hey everyone! Our church has found a new youth pastor! I havent met him yet, but Im so excited to meet him and share some ideas I have for our youth group. Our group has also grown in size, and we had a few people give their lives to Christ last week!!! Thanks so much for your prayers! At first, not much was changing, but now everything is starting to get better. Thank you sooo much!!! God bless you all! Ive got great hopes for our youth group. =]

Our current youth pastor is resigning (something many of us have been praying about for a while), and our church is currently looking for a new youth pastor. Please pray that well find a youth pastor who can really turn things around for our youth group, because its going nowhere fast. When we meet, all we do is watch a short video and have a 10-15 minute discussion about the video. Our souls arent being fed the way theyre supposed to be, and we have no one to guide us in our walk with Christ. Please pray that well find someone soon, but that we wont rush into someone too fast like we did last time, and make another mistake. Thanks, and God Bless.

Nira :) Father in the name of Jesus i pray that God will Bless you and your youth group, that he will Bless you with a youth pastor like no other. allow more youth to come and want to hear your word, strengthen those that are a part of the youth group now that they will stay strong and read your word daily to show that they are trying to learn and understand. Father Bless them all let your protection rain over all in there church family mainly the youth. In Jesus name Amen. To God be the Glory :) Stay strong my sister keep the faith there is a reason for everything and you are that light of Christ to those around you :)

I feel so attacked... this past July my 22 year old son was diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia so we moved him here to CA in the middle of me enrolled in an intensive, accelerated LVN to RN program. To date nothing has helped he has completley shut me out, blames me from birth to present. The stress of school is killing me but I have only 5 months left and am holding on. Rachel We have had some breakthru, but not all. Mother broken leg (tibia), has healed but her right foot is still swollen. It has healed on the skin surface, but it is questionable about underneath the surface. She may still be carrying infection and could still have to have amputated. She will be going back to the doctor in the next week or so...my husband has found a full time temp job that is helping with the finances. We are still having trouble with making both the mortgage and chapter 13 (bankruptcy) trustee payments. Getting both of them is the problem. We can get one or the other. We have to pay both to keep our home. Total needed just for them is about $1300 a month. Joe may have some side work this month to help, but everyone is delaying starting the projects for the second time. Even with this new temp job, he is only making half of what he normally was making...there is no change in my brother Paul or nephew Ian. So things are starting to be answered but more prayer is needed. Thank you all for praying for us and our familys needs. Will update again soon...Rachel

My prayer request is for my family. Some need salvation and others need to return to serving the Lord as they did years ago. They have allowed the things in life to make them grow cold in their walk. My brother, Paul, needs the strong hand from the Lord in his life, as he is in open rebellion and doing drugs, and drinking. My teenage nephew, Ian, is into smoking, drugs and drinking. His mom is very relaxed in discipline and allowing these things to happen. Ian and Paul have made a commitment to the Lord, but when they pray and dont see the answers they want from prayer, they rebel and turn away. They dont understand that the Lord has a plan for their lives and they have to pray in line with His Word and Will for them. Please pray for them to learn this lesson, and others, and that they will be delivered and return to serving the Lord. I would also like to ask prayer for my mom who has recently broke her leg, and may have to have part of her right foot amputated. She injured it 2 weeks ago when she broke her leg and has diabetes. Her sugar levels are fluctuating and she has passed out 3 times in the past 2 weeks, being found by another family member on the floor. Please pray that whatever is causing this is healed by the Lord and that she can keep her foot and that her leg heals completely and quickly. The only other person I would like to lift up is my husband, Joseph. He has been laid off for over 6 months this year. He is a carpenter. We need prayer that the economy will pick up, not only for him, but others who are also struggling. Sure would be wonderful if his boss, Dave, would call him with new work to do again. Thank you for praying...may the Lord richly bless you...

Tracy HI, Id just like to thank everyone who prayed for my son in TX. He has broken up with this girl that wasnt a Christian, and his whole attitude has changed!! PTL, Ive had a chance to talk with him about his choices and not being unequally yoked as how we raised him, he sees that now, so I just pray and will continue to pray for him in making wise choices in the future!! Steven Heavenly Father, Your will be done in this situation. This young man could be a Huge blessing to this girl to lead her to Christ thru his actions. However, if he is not spiritually strong enough to resist temptation and she will cause him to pull away from You, I pray you remove this temptation from him. Your will be done. In Jesus name I pray...Amen.

Donna Our son volunteered and did detox! Now he needs inpatient care to finish true recovery. Our daughter will be doing her jail time for her DUIs. I pray she can get therapy as jail does not rehab unfortunately. These are significant steps that have been years coming thanks to God.s plan and your prayers! My heart is full of thanks for all of your prayful efforts. May peace be with you!

Christina THANK YOU everyone for praying for my marriage. Its was a difficult journey but God is always faithful and always right on time. Just when my marriage was at the door of separation, and divorce, God has done an amazing restoration. I can testify that the process was difficult but the restoration was overnight.

The friend that I asked for prayer for last month, her uncle is dying of lung cancer. It is her favorite uncle, and she has already lost so many loved ones. I hope that it doesnt affect her to much. I dont want her to begin to cut again, she cried with me and another girl at church for about ten minutes. She need to feel Christ in her life, she needs to know that he id there for her, even though she has sinned.

Jessica His surgery went great! They get to possibly come home today! They have said hes been a little fussy but I cant blame him Id be fussy too! But he is doing great all his parents want is for him to sleep better! Thanks for all the prayers I know that God heard them and that they were answered!
